I like it, its familiar, it doesnt add anything new, but it doesnt take anything away from the series either. Just aggresive stealth ac game, thats what they said they would make and thats what they delivered. The most honest AC has been in a while
I feel like it is much needed and a great step in the right direction to get back to what made it great and legendary in the first place. Never thought we would feel the real nostalgia outside of legacy outfits.
Ac origins+ ac valhalla= ac mirage
It's great want great game play and great story we don't need hours and hours off filler have kids and job and wanting to game we don't need all these crap side quest and lvl that do nothing make a good game we don't need hundred hour game
@@moistcloud2679 exactly and unlike AC3, it’s intro is more bearable. Allowing for replays. I also love how they handled the gear system. It’s a good idea going forward imo.

Definitely not. Love the new ones. The negative ones are the loudest. Most people I know even prefer the new ones while still loving the old ones.

I really liked the original 3 With Altair, Ezio. AC1, AC 2 Brotherhood, and AC revelation…. i liked recruiting recruits and then being able to send them on missions, I also liked how when you would conquer an area of the map, you would have to defend it from attacks trying to come back and retake it…. and meeting actual people in history like leonardo davinci, and be franklin i didn’t love when it started becoming magical like fighting mythical gods…. but i really like Mirage so far, i love pickpocketing, i love scouting an area and trying to find a way to get to the objective, i love the focus kills, don’t love the combat that much, it’s kind of challenging, but more because it’s janky and less because it’s designed that way…. but sneaking around a castle taking down enemies and hiding the bodies is fun
Not at all! I think the main problem is the loud minority in the fandom that are unable to remove their rose-colored glasses and get their heads out of their asses

Also, guards don't detect your focus kills except for the one you're finishing at, I used mine whilst blended in with the crowd to take out a target, then hit one behind all the other enemies and get back into the crowd quickly. Which honestly felt badass
Ac mirage just became a lot more badass after watching this video
Sick use of the mechanics. Might have bumped this up from an 8 to an 9 just realizing how much they've actually added/changed to make players more immersed.
You can also disable the pickpocket mini game in the options, this way you don't have to use sleep darts as well

This is actually my first AC game and I’m enjoying this sneaky gameplay. Makes you sit down and think about your tactics a little bit - and Enkidu is so helpful to mark out enemies too!
I love this game tbh and I hope they continue to use the "be stealthy" kind of gameplay but improve the combat more

Another interesting mechanic, if you aim the throwing knife while facing the corner of a wall, Basim puts his back against the wall, allowing you to peer around the corner while aiming the knife.

Man the Blowdart/Sleep Darts are ALWAYS SO OP!! I've been having a lot of fun with AC Mirage so far...I've used the Blowdart to get out of a lot of sticky situations. Also thanks for the Assassin Focus warp trick!! I will be using that for the remainder of my playthrough!

Love the game so far, now that I'm getting used to it. In saying that, I still love the gameplay and immense map of Odyssey as well. As a long-time Assassin's Creed player, I like them all pretty much, each one has its ups and downs.
Aint gonna lie at first at hated it but then is something about that i just wanna keep playing it lol

Very helpful video, I struggle a lot in mirage combat, always had to rely on my focus kills and tools bar, so wasn't able to enjoy the combat. After this I'll try to implement them and I'll also change the combat keyboard and mouse settings, as I am used to old ACS, I really founs the old AC settings more comfortable.
Once again dude you nailed it with some awesome tips I'll now be using.

Another tip. Enkidu has an upgrade that highlights points of interests when you are using him to look around. This helped me to find things from the Wilderness like the Dervish artifacts and gear chests.

I've played(but not necessarily finished) every assassin's creed game from 2 through Valhalla and enjoyed every one of them.

The game was awesome, although i literally did everything like collectables and beat the story within 2 days of playing. This time they made the game very very short. Which is sad because after you’re done with everything theres no point of playing anymore, unlike Valhalla, they had so many things to do and so many extra dlc’s they would add. Im a big fan of AC but I wish they didn’t cut so short with this new one. Smh.

For pickpocketing there’s an option in the settings to turn on guaranteed pickpocketing so it bypasses the mini game. And yes it works for mysterious shards. I turned it off but it’s good to know

@schalkraw7583 not sure what you're trying to say, but the pickpocket mini-game is far from fun. It's a waste of time. After doing it plenty of times successfully, including for Dervis's trinkets, I turned it off and never looked back.

I think Mirage utilized the tools in my favorite way. I hope they carry over the customization you could do with the tools to future game. I would prefer that to the 1000s of weapons/armor you have in Odyssey.
Im currently playing this and its Outstanding!!! It was nice to get back to some what old school play no super hard double jumps tho lol!! I spent countless amount of hours playing Valhalla with expansions it did get a little repetitive but never lost interest. Went back and played all previous games loved Odessy and Black Flag. Thanks for the info!

I came late to the party at AC Origins, I tried to go back and play the older games and there was too much waiting around, AC Mirage has hit that sweet spot

Ok, I considered myself a professional expressly since the last game. Except I wasn't a fan at 1st. Maybe because my friend tried to push it on me or the whole "sneak or die" aspect.
Regardless, I am so glad I watched this before getting into the because it showed me all I wanted and was great production as well. 100% & new subscriber. Awesome work!
Amd I'm no pyromaniac by fat but these games bring out that in me. I even tried to light up a silo 1st thing. Origins is what got me and they've kept me since. Even though I owned many I couldn't enjoy. When I frehanded Origins right onto a Chocobo mount I was sold even more. Despite FF16 being erased in my mind as part of it's series, no spoilers other than an opinion.
