I don’t know if your still reading comments, but I’m here now. I love this game and I’ve played it before, that was on launch, I picked it up again today and started a new game and I had no idea what was happening this is so cool that a guide is actually helpful and not just, “parry attacks”! Thanks for the great work!
Learning fully about the perks and engravings was very helpful. As well as perfecting defensive skills like dodge and parry to fight and complete conquest battles on first chance was very helpful early. Slightly later it was helpful moving up the mercenary tier ladder to discount some of those upgrades and engravings because they were way too expensive when the game first dropped.
I think it's just great that there are people who invest time to make guides for games like this. You're used to it, but I'd like to say thank you here. Something like that makes playing easier 👍
Really informative video, thanks! I feel like there have been many ‘aha’ moments but what helped me the most was realising that elemental dmg has buildup so I have to hit them a few times to actually get them poisoned/burning
October 2021 starting the game for the first time your video has been the most helpful video because no one wants to explain the super early levels. And people who do explain gear have a character that’s level 99 and it’s gear unobtainable until the late 40 levels. Also your English is way easier to understand. Nothing against the other two guys but their accent is super thick 😂
Jordan your parry skill is absolutely masterful. Most of yours combat footage looks like slow motion from how often your parrying is timed perfectly. Very impressive!
First vid I’ve seen that explains how to go about making a build. All the vids I’ve seen has all been showing high Lvl builds and all the dmg they can do. But don’t explain how to go about getting to that point. A thumbs up and a follow from me just for that. A more in depth explanation on how to make builds and go about using points on engravings and percs would be nice. Thanks.
No this build is awful. I know his other builds are good but this isn't. At that level you should focus of weapon dmg, warrior dmg and poison dmg. And you should engrave crit chance if you have all ostrakas collected not tier 1 engravings.
OMG you are awesome. I'm new to Assassin's Creed. I am playing Odessey and currently on level 13. It's very difficult to understand the calculation of the engravings. Thanks to you, it makes sense now. I tried to find a video that explains the meaning of certain engravings. For example, crit damage, all damage, chance to ignore half damage. What does these things mean and how can we use it effectively? Some examples would be of great help. Sorry i am pretty new to Assassin's creed and your help will be much appreciated. Cheers!
Watched your videos last year, now doing another play through. Went through my subscriptions and thought I chose the right channel, because he did have AC videos, but quickly went, "No, where are all the build videos, this cannot be the right guy!" So searched best assassin build today and was like, "Yes that is him!" Love your videos man! :)
In early game I have found if you make a save point outside of an easy fort you can use the bird to study which enemy has what rewards. If none have any purples then simply quit reload save point and then when you use bird the second time you will find that the enemy have all changed. Rinse and repeat until they have something sweet. I got four gold lieutenants and I'm only level 12. Plus the sweet loot they dropped when I hired them.
This vid is great. Only just started a few days ago and honestly it's really overwhelming figuring all the perks and stuff out, especially for someone who isn't exactly smart lol Thank you for the vid, it'll help loads!
No pressure! Once you learn it it’s kind of easy :) just remember that Crits and Fire or Poison damage will make you hit harder! From there it’s up to your taste and decisions on how you like to play and which perks and gear help you do that.
@@itsJordanDoes Watching your clips during the video is exactly how I'd like to play. Now I know which perks to focus on it's going to be much better. Again thanks, and it earned you a sub :P
You can also use the flash skill to go back into hiding with the teleport assassinate skill for a crudload of dmg teleport in hit your targets flash out hide wait repeat until adrenalines gone fight until adrenaline is back up and repeat again depending on the area and use hero strike and heal as backup skills in case hiding isn't a option because flash also stops all opponents from attacking you until struck or they recover so it makes targeting one opponent at a time easier making it less likely you'll get overwhelmed just a suggestion
Been playing through Odyssey for the first time this week. Was on a island hopping exploration around level 15 to open more fast travel points. Managed to snatch Poseidon's Trident and get away. But I could not equip it. I was level 15. No worries the breathe underwater became an engraving. Also once I realized the stacking ability in the weapons/armor.....I am blowing through things. And I am having a absolute blast playing this game.
I invested in warrior damage early game. When i reached level 20 i started investing on assasin damage. Assasin hero strike and overpower attacks r really usefull against merc and leaders.
My biggest ahha moment was realizing that i can use the slowed time mechanic along with assassination, rush assassination, and extra damage when first being noticed to pretty much sprint and overrun everything, instead of using cover and taking forever to clear areas.
This is kind of what I did for early game and I even have a second account for ac Odyssey and I started playing on that and I tell you *DO THE SIDE QUESTS BEFORE FIGHTING A HARD FIGHT*
Thanks for the video. I bought this game on Xbox for cheap when it was on sale, then I stopped playing when I saw how much more predatory the micro transactions are in odyssey than they were in origins (they did better in valhalla I think) but now I have the game on PC and don’t have to worry about drachmae or crafting materials anymore :)
Appreciate the video. You’re right about prioritizing warrior early. I built Assassin early game and struggled a bit with the conquest. Made it through but there was a few re loads.
Assassin is really easy on nightmare, run around hitting people here and there to get adrenaline, soon as you see a crowned boss run over and heroic strike, if you have been updating your assassin skills this usually kills the boss. Go back to start of sentence for next boss, dont bother killing anybody else. Did it first go.
I love that this is an RPG more than but still an action/adventure. I am a huge fan of Greek history and Mythology and that was way before all the newer Hollywood stuff. I have been a fan since one of my best teachers taught us about all of it back in like '96, '97, or '98. I never liked the older Hollywood stuff and some of the newer things weren't great either but I hope this sparks Hollywood to give the proper money and artistic treatment for The Odyssey … I could turn it into a trilogy. Hello, I just started playing the game through Uplay Plus and it came with lvl 5 epic gear and weapons. Should I keep that gear and lvl it up or just equip higher lvl normal and blue gear as it drops?
My ah ha moment was realising just how useful the eagle is, not just in built up areas but waste land too for identifying chests, hidden caves, hidden objectives etc etc....use your bird folks it saves hours of searching by foot or missing stuff altogether...
Bull rush for warriors for sure. It’s got high damage and AOE. The benefit of spartan kick though is it disrupts animations. Thus allowing you to stop a mercenary in an unblockable attack.
@@elvistwatty Bullrush can do that.. if you aim it properly. Sometimes bullrush can overshoot an enemy and not distrupt their attack but rather it moves you out of the way. Using enemy lock can help with this.
What’s the difference between fire and poison? Oh and my biggest ahah moment was when I found out about how easy conquest battles are with it. Oh is getting the trident and that other legendary weapon that lies in a ship wreck underwater doable for a lvl 16?
Fire has armor penetration and a stronger Damage over Time. Poison reduces the enemies armor and their attack. Fire is good for dealing damage as fast as you can and poison is good for prolonged fights with groups of enemies. You can go anywhere on the map at any level and try and do anything but the only thing you have to consider is that sharks and other enemies will one shot you so you have to be super careful.
Hey I noticed on all your gear you have exactly what you advised us to get... however since you can't remove pre-existing engravings but only add new ones or swap out for another.... How did you get that exactly? You must have been lucky for it to come with the engravings you just advised... Can you explain that?
I've never played any of the assassin's games but I decided to start on odyssey like a week ago and I'm only a level 6 and a half and I suck 😂 I bought the bad ass outfit pack don't remember the name of it but it's the one where it looks like there wearing halos, but does anyone have any tips on how to level up fast?? I'm trying to beat the damn cyclops and I almost did but I died, what I don't get is we have the same rank
I personally used the lieutenants with the best stats for whatever my ship was lacking in current upgrades. Or whatever my chosen arsenal attack would always be? And then in the end I made sure that I had a good balance in lieutenants with their stats & only replaced lower levelled ones with higher levelled ones if their stats were better for what I wanted the ship itself to have or focus more on.
Yeah and stats are a bit controlled by level. With the level boost to 70 there came two additional lieutenant levels so now you’ll get better lieutenants with the highest perk levels after level 61
Well shit... I've been trying to go hunter with points in assassin, namely I get the perk that lets me quickly find "shinies" when I can't call Senu. I HAVE managed to clear a few high level (22 to my 17) using Rain of Arrows but that's only when adrenaline doesn't bug and not build.
Does anyone know how to do a parkour back roll flip. Mileena does it in Mortal Kombat X when she wins a round. She uses it in between rounds to create space when she is close to the opponent. I have seen Alexios do it like 5 times since I started playing in October but I can't figure out how I make him do it. Any suggestions?
ZaneDoesGaming upgrades it dps to ur respective level so blue legs at 10 would be like 37 epic would be 43-45 and then legendary would be like 50-55 so if ur had like 8 blue legs at say 26 if u upgraded it it would go to ur level say 10 it would be 37 👍 so upgrading is just makes your old leveled out Armor up to date hope this helped
Well it’s hard for me to tell anyone if they should buy MTX’s or not.. I’ve enjoyed the DLC for the new gear and abilities. Rapid fire has been really fun and the fire breath on the ship is cool too. So if you can afford it and are willing to support Ubisoft in that way then I’d say yes. If you already have helix credits it’s probably best to spend them on armor sets or weapons for the engravings and just using them in game. Materials become abundant real quickly so buying them is a complete waste.

@@zinboy87zin39 cannot wait 2 try... Thx
Have you heard if they're going to add the ability to be able to make and save multiple builds?
I haven’t heard any specifics but I would imagine they will eventually.
Do you think shieldbreak is worth it??
If I have all damage is fire damage on a weapon, is it also applied on my other weapons?
Does it matter what lvl are my lieutenants on the ship?
Should i put highest lvl or one with best stats?
I personally used the lieutenants with the best stats for whatever my ship was lacking in current upgrades. Or whatever my chosen arsenal attack would always be?
And then in the end I made sure that I had a good balance in lieutenants with their stats & only replaced lower levelled ones with higher levelled ones if their stats were better for what I wanted the ship itself to have or focus more on.
@@joeycharmed okay thanks alot. So only stats are emportant
And look xD
Yeah and stats are a bit controlled by level. With the level boost to 70 there came two additional lieutenant levels so now you’ll get better lieutenants with the highest perk levels after level 61
@@itsJordanDoes thanks alot
Why aren't you using Nikolaos sword from Megaris
Well shit... I've been trying to go hunter with points in assassin, namely I get the perk that lets me quickly find "shinies" when I can't call Senu. I HAVE managed to clear a few high level (22 to my 17) using Rain of Arrows but that's only when adrenaline doesn't bug and not build.
Ikaros not senu
Do you have build layout for this over at ac-builds?
I feel like I got too good gear. I am lvl 20 with full legendary snake set archillies bow and the legendary spear from Merc.
How long should I use this build for?
If you upgrade a piece of gear does it upgrade or rarity?
ZaneDoesGaming upgrades it dps to ur respective level so blue legs at 10 would be like 37 epic would be 43-45 and then legendary would be like 50-55 so if ur had like 8 blue legs at say 26 if u upgraded it it would go to ur level say 10 it would be 37 👍 so upgrading is just makes your old leveled out Armor up to date hope this helped
Is the DLC worth it?
And what should I buy with helix credits : weapons, packs or materials?
Well it’s hard for me to tell anyone if they should buy MTX’s or not.. I’ve enjoyed the DLC for the new gear and abilities. Rapid fire has been really fun and the fire breath on the ship is cool too. So if you can afford it and are willing to support Ubisoft in that way then I’d say yes. If you already have helix credits it’s probably best to spend them on armor sets or weapons for the engravings and just using them in game. Materials become abundant real quickly so buying them is a complete waste.
How to you get fire on your weapon without usikg the fire ability???
I'm level 35
What build do you recommend me?
I'm a level 25 and this helped me when is was lvl 1
What if I have legendary do i still need
Engrave damage of that weapon
