Have you heard of Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated?
I think the reason Truth or Square was short was on account of Heavy Iron having to rework the game to tie in with the special when they were nearly done with Happiness Squared at first when Nickelodeon asked them to change it and Heavy Iron probably having to rush to get it done in time before the special aired. That's just speculation.

AceRay 24 exactly, I had a similar situation, the other day I was looking at the new crash n sane trilogy since it's coming out for Xbox one in July, but these two guys were saying to me "why you excited for a kiddies game?" I then told them that they clearly don't know that it's a remake of older games which people who are adults are more likely to buy now, they then shrugged it off and went away, but it goes to show that people think they can pick on whoever they want simply because they don't like the looks of a game.
I think u guys care enough about the opinions of others if you're willing to post this. Also, sincerely doubt u guys r above the legal age to drive.

I'd recommend you try Spongebob Creature From The Krusty Krab. It plays similar to the heavy iron games and has a really good soundtrack.

A tip about being nervous around people: Think about the amount of people you THINK are watching and concerned about what you're doing.
The amount is usually half that, and even fewer ACTUALLY give a shit.
I had this version and have the DS version. The DS version isn’t anything special, if more linear. But I remember that in every level, a few sections of it would have you just fight enemies. Just fight. It was repetitive to say the least, but it’s ok considering Plankton is actually useful.
Also please do a review for Squarepantis Atlantis for the DS
At least the DS version had some good music.
They made their own original music. And pretty fun mini games.
Wonderful review, and after seeing the Ryan Drummond clips past 2010, I see why he's the perfect Sonic. I mean after Roger Craig's Twitter Taker thingy (to Gamegrumps) and Sonic Boom, I wouldn't mind seeing him go, because he has a lot to prove before he gets back to good graces.

I think people should keep in mind that Heavy Iron is a company, people are going to come and go, so it's possible (especially considering the time span between the movie game and this one) that barely anyone from the two previous SpongeBob games worked on this one and that could've been the issue, however minor. But I also feel like some major issues with Truth or Square (the game) are this: Possible meddling by Nick indicative of the name change, development on the level of BFBB or somehow even worse (for those that don't know BFBB was infamously underfunded and had a short development time), and them abandoning RenderWare and the really good foundation they had built for BFBB/the movie game.
I feel like the last one really screwed them over honestly, like I said they had a good thing going with RenderWare and I feel like the base they made with BFBB/the movie game was perfect to continue making SpongeBob games, and playing this game it was always noticeable how it wasn't made on RenderWare because it played so awkwardly. It was a really bad idea to abandon what they had going there, even if they started off fresh with RenderWare I feel like it would've made this game at least a little bit better than what it turned out to be.

I would love to see a review of Creature from the Krusty Krab. I used to have it as a kid and really liked it. I even went back and played it recently and still had a pretty good time. It has some glaring flaws, but I feel it's still a solid game. Not the level of BfBB or the Movie Game, but still good fun.

I feel that This game was originally going to have a longer development cycle, but Nick decided to rush it for the anniversary, rather than give the developers more time.
It also seems to have had a much cheaper budget, since A LOT of shit is reused.

the psp version had 2 extra levels: Bikini Bottom and the Krusty Krab
fun fact: the Bikini Bottom stage on the psp version was supposed to appear on the console version but was scraped for some reason before being implemented on the psp version.
Also there was supposed to be a ps2 version of the game but that was canceled

Considering Patrcik and Sandy were shown as playable in the Happiness Squared trailer, it's probable they were intended to be fully playable like BBFB but due to those budget cuts they were consolidated into power ups.

This was THE spongebob game I played as a kid. Even if it's a bit underwhelming, I'm happy that it was an amalgamation of the better games so that I'm more ready for Battle for The Bikini Bottom Rehydrated!

So when I was a kid, I played BFBB and The Movie Game. I must admit, had tons of fun playing back then. Now I'm feeling nostalgic and wanted to play those games again in addition of Truth of Square, BUT I don't own any console anymore and I don't think I'll have one any time soon cause family needs to save money for important things. I was hoping if you can give advice on what I should do? I mean probably buying a used console but I don't know which one supports those 3 games I really want.

Surprisingly The story is the same in all versions. Except in the ds, version plankton was tricking SpongeBob to get the formula.

A lot of people say sonic 06 has wasted potential. No, THIS is a true example of wasted potential. Even if sonic 06 had another year to polish and fix glitches, so much of the game's problems come from just bad design and biting off more than they could ever chew.
Hyper7 Sonic 06 almost killed the franchise while Truth or Square did not
Did you know that the gba virson of the movie game was awarded one of the best gba games of all time. (I think that's how you say it correct me if I am wrong)
Also, I guess the Mr. Krabs Character Power-up is a DS version-Exclusive.
