The comments aren’t wrong about this laptop, there are issues where the refresh rate will only work in 60 or you have to restart multiple times to get 144hz, lots of lines on the screen and eventually switching refresh rates/ restarting doesn’t work anymore. But maybe 1/100 times it can boot normally. Before I order the screen and repair, would it be worthwhile to break it down as you’ve shown? and check connections first? The gpu works, temperatures are fine, frame rate isn’t any different on an external monitor, no physical screen damage cause the screen can still work every once in a blue moon? What could my issue be

Still a bad lcd tho, you’ll need to replace it as soon as possible because it can and will affect the 60hz too. I have a FX506LH model 2021 too and now i have to use CRU to break it down 55.5hz to use

@@kebin9962 You can use a hair dryer to blow on the edge of the screen. It will fix it shortly and please switch back to 60hz

Dont buy that piece of garbage laptop F15. It will work for around a year but then it will develop sudden problems with motherboard. This has happened to plenty of customers. Asus will NOT give you a free fix for motherboard replacement even if your warranty is still valid. They will accuse you of "mishandling" the device and therefore void warranty and charge you the total price for replacement and fix.
This has happened to me recently. One day I was working on the laptop, then powered the laptop off. No updates, nothing special. Next day I wake up and try to turn the laptop on and then its dead. What a garbage piece of hardware. Buy a Nokia phone or something, thousandfolds more reliable than these taiwanese GarbageCollectors. Overheating, Component issues, etc. you name it.
