Best front engine corvette the C7, my older brother just brought a 2016 C7 for 48k with the Z51 package. It only has 11k miles. Have the factory chrome wheels with the red brake calibers. It's definitely a future classic. His Corvette looks showroom condition!
Add 8 thousand worth of power mods and hellcats get gapped in the straights. And bone stock, vettes are twice as fast around a circuit. Hellcats are overrated trash compared to corvettes. It’s not even a competition
@@cashmoneycockburn9502 I wouldn't say they're overrated trash; it's just a muscle car vs. a real sports car; they serve different purposes. The Vette happens to weigh less, handle better, and come with an American 6.2. It's the perfect recipe, which is why Corvettes are on top.
I got my 2014 Stingray 3LT for $40k. It had only 30k miles and one owner. Shockingly amazing and effecient daily. Made me feel better about selling my Mazda and not having to worry about insurance and maintenance for two cars,
Last April i bought my first corvette a 1999 C5 Hardtop w only 18k miles. Now has 24k miles. Love it but interior quality is well known as poor. Layout is great but lots of cheap plastic. Definitely will look into a manual C7 In 3 years when my C5 is paid off.
Mine is a street queen. Gently driven until she's warmed up properly. Then cooled off with some fans inside the garage. I keep her washed/waxed once a week.
The only thing you gotta be careful with is with the 3LT optioned cars (like the one in this video)... is the leather dash delamination. SO many C6-C8 Corvettes have an issue with the nappa leather bubbling up over time.
People and dealers are STILL wanting 15k under what a 8 year old Corvette was new and that is just stupid,a 7 or 8 year old Corvette should be 25-30k under MSRP.
Don’t buy a corvette with 120k mileage. The engine will hold up but the rest will cost you a nice monthly fee in repairs! Mine started falling apart at 75k
My first Corvette was a Z51 with 2LT it had 18,000 miles on it and it was 7 years old and the MSRP was 53k I bought it 22k and I thought that was fair...the Corvettes today are overpriced
Buyer beware! Some auto C7's and some GM V8 pick-ups are plagued with chronic transmission shuddering, fixes are expensive and only temporary. I have an '18 C7, purchased brand new, weekend driver, never raced, no burnouts, and has that chronic transmission problem. GM is ignoring the problem. I highly recommend going with a Mustang GT or a V8 Dodge instead.
I dont like the grab handle. Can you unbolt it? Cut it out? Btw, I remember there was a Younger guy who had a yellow one of these and his engine blew and transmission went out twice. And I think the C6 looks better! not only the sides but the rear end looks better on the C6. And normally I would like the updated tail lights on the C7, but you know what? They made them with a stupid looking Droop.. I dont get it..
The only problem with buying a C7 is one day you’re gonna be out of light and a C8 is going to pull up to you and you’re gonna think if I only spent a little bit more.
Yeah you’d be surprised how many people disagree. It’s been a common thing for all Corvette generations. There will always be a huge amount of people that prefer the previous version
Someone tell me when they are 25 grand
You can find some with higher mileage.
@@michaelcanez6940 if you see one listed for 25 grand it’s probably just not worth it
they will be eventually. Probably by 2030
Like he said get one with 100k + . They are in the 20s
You can get a nice C6 for 25 grand, later low mileage base cars go for about that. A nice c7 starts about 35
I bought a 2017 Stingray Z51 with 18k miles on it a couple years ago. It's a great daily driver.
I have the 23 Anniversary Edition Z51 BUT I like the C7 if all the cards were in line I'd consider finding a pristine '19 Z51
$20Kish???? Dont think you can even get a salvage title for that amount....
Exactly
Fr where? I’d pay 35k for that 25. Just got rid of my MY
Still $40-50K with under 50K miles.
Nope. I got my z06 with 58 k miles for 50k and my buddy got a sub 50k mile stingray 7 speed for 35k
This is the price range I see when I browse C7s in the PNW. I told myself next year.
@@AnthonyScott-j8c you wont regret it.
Just got my z51 it will arrive in Wednesday. 10/09/24.
Got a 2016 Corvette C7 2LT with 10k miles for $46,000. One owner vehicle.

I haven’t seen any around 20k. I’ve seen them going for 35k-40k. Either way not bad compared to these 80k hellcats.
Hellcats won't be an issue with just a few thousand worth of mods.

The ones that are $25,000 ish are HIGH miles, like 150k+
@@cashmoneycockburn9502 Dodge has great branding they sold folks the same car for 10+ years. Poorly manufactured, overrated trash.
Unless it's a ZO6 I don't want it. The C7s are the best looking vette though
What’s wrong with a z51?

40k ?? Ridiculous. 6 years ago I bought my C6 2008 with 50k for 18k... When it was 10 years old. 40k for a 10 year old Vette is highway robbery
This is beautiful Corvette worth every dollar.

Among the Most beautiful body styles, Ever produced! I have a 2014 Z51 2LT with 15K miles. Garage queen that sits under a dust cover.
Perfect place for it me as well 2015 z51 3lt garage queen

Drive that bad boy. Life is too short to sit it on a shelf for someone else to enjoy.
@@jonathanperry6302wish I could fit 2 muscle cars in my stable. Would love to add a C7 to my ‘20 GT350 with 15kmiles

I agreed on 36 for my 15 Z51
36 for an 8 year old car that listed for 75 ain't bad. They aren't a good investment but they keep their value
Inflation.
They should cost more. What car is better for cheaper? There isn’t one
I don't think you should change the camera shot angles that much.
im looking at going grand sport it has wide fenders like z06
That trunk cover looks sleek!

Made my best invesment two years ago
A 2014 to 2019 vette regular C7 Z51 with less than 40k miles is around mid 40s to 50 grand
what trim comes 7 speed ?
DO I GET A USED C7 ZR1 OR 2024 MUSTANG GT?
Obviously zr1… even a c6 zr1 is better than any mustang gt
As a C7 owner, definitely go with the Mustang.
Only you can decide, every decision comes with a price... my only question is... do you really need a back seat? if not, then the choice is easy.
My first Corvette was a Z51 with 2LT it had 18,000 miles on it and it was 7 years old and the MSRP was 53k I bought it 22k and I thought that was fair...the Corvettes today are overpriced
I'd look into torque tube issues before buying a used c7 vette.
It might be a bit more common in the C7s but the C5 and C6 are also prone to torque tube issues
They only hapen if you abuse the car which is what half of the owners do naturally. More prevalent in manuals for obvious reasons.
Some C7's w/ auto trans have a chronic transmission shuddering problem.
@@fragoutrambo6381 Not true. I bought my C7 new, and it has that chronic transmission shuddering issue, weekend driver, never raced and no burnouts.
lol the used C7 's are 90 grand CAD ....not much of a deal
I’ve seen plenty mid 30 non in 20s
No idea where this guy is finding 25k c7

When i can get a C7 GS manual for 30k then ill buy.
Good luck! Hahaha.
Flooded maybe, no way less than 50k
a 10 year old 2014 C7 carrying 30k is stupid unless the mileage is around 20k or less.. Anything higher than that shouldnt top out above 25k PERIOD
why didn't you buy the great deal?
General Motors couldn't pay me to drive one of their vehicles.
You can't afford one anyway.
The c6 corvettes stay the same price. They haven’t dropped. They hit Rick bottom 3 years ago.
So you payed $25k
The only problem with buying a C7 is one day you’re gonna be out of light and a C8 is going to pull up to you and you’re gonna think if I only spent a little bit more.
What lol😂
Nah no manual is a no go for me
Not really, there's such a drastic difference in looks and a lot of people aren't a fan of the C8 styling.
Little? Haha price difference is massive between C7 and C8 ( apple to apples) don’t try to compare a 2k miles C7 Z06 3LZ vs a 50k miles C8 1LT
Yeah you’d be surprised how many people disagree. It’s been a common thing for all Corvette generations. There will always be a huge amount of people that prefer the previous version
mid 30s low 40k all day long
The car crash hasn't hit the C7.....yet!
They don't do the 3.7 to 60mph......don't know where you get your facts from?
They do it in 3.8 actually.
It's a GM Product.....Nope I'm Spending Money Elsewhere
I don't like used cars or women! 😂
However, you have at least ONE of those two at home, because you can't afford it.
The C7 doesn't look like a corvette........the last real corvette was the C6
🤣
Wrong. C6 is garbage.
