JJ is some kind of legend when it comes to this. Every NBA player from the last generation has this "who is this white boy lighting me up" moment with JJ. Been reading the Andre Iguodala book, and he is right in there. He speaks of it as a kind of landmark moment.
@@kidistight book is great! I listened to it as an audiobook book. I'll say that they got the right guy to narrate it as he speaks in the same tone and vernacular as Andre, which really puts the reader in there w him. And his Iverson impression is top notch.

but he didnt. lol. he was wrong on everyone of them. they showed the sheets after the melo one and the cp one where he claimed scores. he had less than he said both times. he even actually scored less points than melo in the first jordan game in baltimore. he said he won mvp cuz he scored more. but really he only won mvp melo shot everytime he touched the ball and they pulled him out. so he sat the fourth and stil melo had more points

What's funny an mind blowing at the same time. Is JJR was a DEMI GOD in college! An in the nba he's a good rotation player! Just goes to show you how good, an how serious, an blessed you are if you're playing in the NBA! Crazy...
They should have showed that whole BI clip. It turns out that JJ gave a speech and it stuck with BI his whole career but he thought Coach K gave the speech.
@@yeahaight1163 man I forgot about the bad audio lol. But yeah you’re probably right. Everyone should go watch that interview. Even with the bad audio, it’s a great discussion with BI.
Seeing those college reels really does bring back some flashbacks! I don't think people realize how insane JJ was in college, especially his senior year at Duke. I remember being in the 6th grade, and always seeing him and Adam Morrison's name on the TV every time I flipped the channel to ESPN. It's a shame how LSU took Duke out of the tournament, and how Gonzaga lost in heartbreaking fashion to UCLA that same year. Good times!
The game getting prettier again and these videos helped me like basketball again. Thanks JJ for being so generous and bringing out the best of what the nba is.
JJ you are far more entertaining than actual journalists. The player's perspective is way more interesting. Keep it up and midseason don't forget to join Bucks for the two-peat.
My homies and I went to Hooters this particular game day and JJ absolutely lit up the Longhorns in a legendary performance. Texas had an amazing team that season. Several NBA players on both teams!!!
The best hosts are the guys who were really animated in their careers imo. JJ himself is a shooting legend and one of the most competitive basketball players in history. It's cool that you can bring a guy on to his show and he will tell a personal story about JJ if he played against him lol it's so unique. Similar to how we have Clyde at MSG
