It is impossible to describe in a nutshell how much this film means to me, as no fan video can show it. But if you ask me what my favorite movie is, I will immediately answer - „Brokeback Mountain”.
So it was then and so it’s still.
By the way, I watched it back in 2014 and since then my entire universe is literally! turned upside down. I’ve changed. I felt the depth of my own experiences, I felt the depth of other people's experiences. Emotions overwhelmed me so hard that I remember going to school and for a whole week at the very mention of this movie tears appeared in my eyes, I ran out to the toilet to give free rein to these feelings that were bubbling up inside of me.
This movie opened my eyes and showed what love can be and how important it is not to be afraid to be who you really are, and not who your friends or family want to see you. This phrase sounds trivial, but in the most rude form the director shows us how destructive it can be to disobey our desires. We must listen to our heart and follow its path, because, in fact, tomorrow may simply not come. And when will you live the way you want? To love someone for real, hugging someone... not to look around at neighbors or other people (even if this is your family)?
By the way, the attitude of my parents changed significantly for the better after I persuaded them to watch this masterpiece. Mom and Dad were crying and after that no one asked questions like: “Are two men making love? Sounds like a disease”.
I have never experienced such emotions before and every year I experience them again and again at the next viewing. This movie brought me pain, strong - mental and even in some way physical, but at the same time - freedom. The freedom to be myself, which I still have not fully mastered, but which I strive for day after day. So, it hasn't been in vain 💔

Where are your thousands of subscribers? Seriously, where are you people and why are you sleeping on these masterpieces?
I have to be honest, I haven't watched Brokeback Mountain. God knows I've watched a lot (too much) of films and TV shows, but I haven't got around this one. Yet, this made me tear up. For real, I'm not kidding. There was such a strong feeling of longing, sadness, and just so much loneliness coming out of this.. it echoed in me in a way I cannot describe, but I felt it.
