It's weird that I was born one year before this movie was released and and I am 18 now. This movie made me laugh and cry. No one I know that is my age know this movie. I watched randomly in TV when I was about 11-12 and I absolutely loved this masterpiece.
This movie is very underrated.

I just learned that this film exists and now I'm hoping that I can find a way to watch it from the Netherlands.
It is something we over here are struggling with as well still. Even with all the anti discrimination laws that the Netherlands and the EU have in place.
So even though this film is from 20 years ago it is, and possibly will be, still actuality for so many with any kind of disability around the world.

The exact thing that's shown in the edit. It's more like a summary of the film. Michael had cerebral palsy and Rory had DMD which is eventually fatal. Before Rory died, he taught Micheal how to live life on his own terms as much as he can.
