Yes that 2.0l tdi was really phenomenal but now brands are compromising on Diesel engines.. ☹
Why so ? My vento also consume too much oil, before starting long journeys i have to fill it with 500ml oil along with diesel 🤪

This car just doesn't have the road presence. I prefer Endeavour over Fortuner but you get my point. Also this particular model is *imported*. You're paying more in taxes not superior quality.

Refinement n power delivery is amazing compared to fortuner. And if u think this car doesn't have road prescense I doubt u have seen it on road. It's like an Audi Q3/Q4 standing on road. Guaranteed head Turner.

Endeavour was so ignored in front of fortunner, but it was much better product. It was luxurious and was more feel good type of car.
It had better power, more options, more features, more comfort, better insulation, better handling etc. We can say it was a traditionally designed suv on outside, but super comfy inside.
It gave both from the worlds of luxury and ruggedness.
But now they have discontinued 3.2d

Actually those levers detach the seats but you have to manually put it down which is disappointing.
My mind has changed from passat to tiguan AllSpace
just as my passat at the present moled has no such feature which tiguan brings now

Solid built,
Superb for touring(long distances)
Highway stability,
High performance engine
Comfort
Classyness
Cons,
Lacks wireless charger,
Expensive to maintain,
Heated seats instead of ventilated.
No use of heated seats in india bud.
Finally another crossover with All wheel drive! Most CUVs in india(eg: creta,seltos) lacks AWD. Glad that atleast this thing has it. India has bad roads and it can get slippery and rough when it rains. So all wheel drive is really necessary.(And I also prefer diesel SUVs more)
This is not a cross over, its a suv, you must check the dimensions of the car, its huge. Just like an audi q5

If you want the 5 seater on then you should prefer all space because last row you will fild then you get a huge boot space and huge area and instead of Innova Crysta and Fortuner you should prefer tiguan all space

Atleast maruti suzuki doesn't break down after 150,000 km. I would prefer offroading in a maruti or a Hyundai compared to this shitty Volkswagen

Better built than fortuner sure but service network and unavailability of diesel will still be an issue
Fortuner still has a 2.8L oil burner which is by far the most popular choice.

Regarding the air con contols, you have to wait for 3 seconds after you take the blower to minimum to turn it off. It is a VW thing in all its cars.

It's superb vehicle but that majestic feeling and road presence you only get it in endeavour also VAG group cars are very costly to maintain and parts are difficult to get

I think you need to push the seats simultaneously along with pulling that lever in the trunk as there is nothing pushing the seats forward usually in premium cars you see a black board pushing those seats ahead ... It's not present here so you will need to push those seats ahead while pulling that button...
