I like Yale locks as they seem to be a decent quality. I tend to find they do usually chuck in their locks a couple of security pins. May not be that way in all their locks but the vast majority of locks I have come across have been that way. This Yale even has good extra protection. Nicely picked Bill.
My Yale Y210C came today from overseas. The feedback is beautiful and rekeyable to 6 pins. A real pleasure to pick and easy gut. By far my favourite in collection.
I'm really enjoying watching you pick, even your first videos where you don't talk. I do like hearing you explain the what and why about the process though. Glad I found this channel, been subbed for about a month, hoping to win some of the giveaways too. Just an FYI I do follow your advice, at least I try. Staying legal,no problem at all. Staying safe is not always easy, people get in the way sometimes. Staying well, still recovering from the big C so that ones hard. Thanks for the videos they really help during the downtime.
Hi bill nice lock for me to start my lock picking career. I was a jeweler for over 35 years. I wanna give this a try cause this coronavirus is making me crazy....
That rubberized base usually can be pulled off quite easily on all the locks I've come across with this feature, then it makes them much easier to tension and pick, just saying ;-)
The bend in the shaft of that .15 pick @ 2:45 reminds me of the bend in my .32 thick Chinesium after three minutes of picking. Don’t you dare bend it back to straight or you’ll have a new probe.
Love the giveaway! That was my first practice lock, very nice and great fun for a long while. Really need those dimple picks right now, though. Also check out the Sparrows security pins!
The only time i've had something of mine stolen, was when it was locked with this lock - the alu shield. So i'm rather conflicted. That being said, i did go and buy another one just like it.
Great give away items. I don't know how popular this would be, but how about instead of all three items going to one person, you make three people happy by awarding them to three different folks? I already have a training lock, so if I win I'll donate that back to LockLab for another drawing.
Purely economic & selfish reasons.... It is already hard enough to keep up with all the weekly giveaways, to say nothing of the cost of shipping everything. Dividing it by 3 would just triple my postage costs.... Sorry, one winner gets it all.
@@bosnianbill Makes sense. The fact that you do giveaways puts you head and shoulders above most YTers who beg for donations. Then again, your content is pretty good. In fact, there is so much that I don't have time to watch all of it. Thanks.
Nice pick job, sir. I understand the money point, but damn it disappoints me when a lock gives you even a modicum of resistance can't be gutted. I guess State Secrets must remain secret.
I usually gut (or machine open) the locks that promise to show us something interesting, but when it is a low-cost, mass produced lock there really isn't anything to learn from it. Part of it is time as well - it takes a lot time to set up the milling machine and do a cutaway without damaging the internals. If we can learn something, I'll invest the time (and expense). If not, well..... I'd rather do something else.
ever pick this kind of locks?i usually cut them open as its difficult to pick esp when they are locked on a weird angle on the door hinges, im a full time locksmith btw. would really like to see how you approach this lock if its locked at weird angle. www.everythingcsmg.com/product/cl91-50mm-gere-granit-armoured-padlock/
Yales never cease to impress me, pretty decently secure for a pretty low price. Great picking as always!
Yale is getting better and better.. the security on this lock for the price is really impressive.

I thought that one would cause you problems but you made it look easy again.
Thank you bill for helping me understand my new hobby! I picked up well self isolating!!! Well understand it a little more I should say .
Thats surprisingly easy despite how mean it looks. I just picked my first Master No.3 last night never having picked a lock in my life

Hi Bill, thanks for the explanation of your color code scheme.
You are welcome! I think it was you that asked me to mention it again. 😀

Sweet little Yale there. I wish there were more shielded shackle locks with options like this.
Wish we could get more locks like this in the USA. Thanks for another great video.
Nice little Yale! Pretty solid all around, thanks Bill!
Nice work, brother Bill! Great Yale picking tutorial. Many Yale keyways give me grief.

Neat lock, review was great as well, and awesome giveaway!!!!!!
Seems pretty good. I like that chunky shackle guard. A good deterrent to bolt cutters.✌😎
Well done on that Yale, It's a nice lock. Also, that 7 pin training lock is great, I still use mine to try different pins or even my own pins.
That is one hefty looking lock.
Pretty nice!! I didn’t expect ball bearings!
Cool lookin' lock and spools are always really fun to pick. Killer giveaway, too!!
Great video!
Cool looking Yale🔒

Wish I had skills like that

Would it make a good motorcycle lock of is there a better option out there?
Hey Bill could you update the best locks(if possible based on type and use, it may be long as 20-30 min)
Awesome lock!....and give away
Any update on the gerda titan lock?

@@bosnianbill That makes perfect sense. I should have put a little more thought in.
There are only 2 types of cuts on the key, deep and shallow.

First thing I'd do is pull that rubber thingy right off of the bottom of her. Make it a lot easier to pick.
👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
10/10 !
Shoulda used a Red Bull can
Could have popped that plastic bottom off, would have made it easier.
Dude totally should have cut this open after picking and pulled out the insides .. I say do that to every cheaper lock!
I only buy locks that bill can’t pick lol
Abloy Protec2 locks for you then?
ehsnils yep those and seems to me the only ones that he can’t get into are the one of a kind custom made ones.
Please if you are giving away any keys or locks please please please
Why am I getting Anti Chinese ads at the start of these videos. Kinda messed up.
Did you recently order some crispy duck and pancakes? Idk man seems kinda strange
@@danskifpv no idea it was for a site called epoch times i think, never heard of it before.
1st.
Not raking a lock, I'm shocked and amazed XD
Great video!
