- The assignment for this episode was BACK TO SCHOOL. I wound through Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa, California with the Hasselblad 500CM, Zeiss 80mm f/2.8, and a roll of Fujicolor 400H. It was New Year's Eve and the only other humans I saw were some skaters making their own video. I managed to make eleven good photos and one 'whoopsie' when I tried a self-portrait.
No AI was used to create this video.
A masterstroke episode. Made me lol multiple times. Black and white is almost(?) always better in Winter? And that hallway looked like the T-1000 was about to come running at you with long metal claw arms and stuff.
I really appreciate the comment, friend. Glad I was able to brighten your day with some lols.
At 00:33, how do you not center “Central Complex” on that beautifully symmetrical building?
It feels like cheating when you want to take pictures of buildings and end up at Crafton. That campus is just so unique within the area with it's brutalism / brutalism like architecture.
Yes it was easy to find inspiration there.
