I know you were/are an elite motion GFX designer, but the production value for a one man band of these videos would put a crew to shame. I too have a bad habit of taking a 500 series camera out in less than ideal conditions and I too regret nothing lol
Dude can you please tell my wife exactly this? I mean the part with "elite" and "production value"? She still thinks I am mostly playing some sort of weird video game and talk sh1t with my buddies all day. Hold on, I'll pin this for her.
Ahh, nice photos man, they make me want to get to a similar island here in the Netherlands (Texel) that I go to every now and then. Glad you got the Hassy repaired, you actually made me buy my own just a week ago (for now just the body.. it will take some time till I have the full kit :) ). That's kind of what this weather does.. instead of going out I end up buying stuff!
that fate happened to my Pentax 67 , shooting a beach race in Japan. the Shutter was "sanded up" :) i am glad i found an Old Pentax tech there who did a CLA.
I have had my 501cm for decades, not a single problem. It never leaves the house, and is sat by a leica m6ttl. I just use my fuji x100v and ricoh gr3 and get fantastic prints.
Yesterday I had a conversation with someone who claims to use their iPhone for pretty much everything in life from shooting TH-cam videos to professional photo production work. I guess it just doesn't matter which camera you use as long as you are comfortable with the process.
Yo David! I am starting to think that I am more looking forward to your next comment than you are looking forward to the next episode. Glad you keep tuning in.
Sadly the Hasselblad is a very complex mechanical camera and lens! It needs Services regularly! The Body, the Magazine, the Lens/Lenses. Beach sand can kill most mechanical cameras! Use a plastic bag. A UVa/Skylight filter always. Personally I can't focus them! I suggest the Pentax 6x7 system. It's heavy and noisy but better than a Hassie or RB67.Always have fresh tested NEW battery. Your images good! Look forward to more!
beautiful place.. you made me want to fill up the tank and..........leave, who knows, maybe I will obviously succeed with my trusty Hasselblad.... good luck with the repair which will surely it will make you more efficient again.... after all it's a Highlander ehehehe
So what caused the problem with the second jam of the camera? What did it take to repair it? Something similar has happened to my 200FE and I suspect the mirror lock up mechanism.

Your love for this island is very inspiring.
Thank you!

Do it man! Been there, too. It’s gorgeous. Also, can’t believe you actually bought a Hassy because of this channel. Enjoy the ride!

At least it's not very far from Sylt to Ahrensburg. They're sure to get your Hasselblad going again there 😃

This one is an interesting mixture of excitement and calmness. Spezial shoutouts to the photo-grandma, the back of the sheep and the AI Outro Pics!

Kudos photo-ma! Would love a piece of the conversation ;-) She deserves respect for heading out and shooting.

Hey man! Could you share where you got the Hasselblad serviced in Germany?
Google Hasselblad Ahrensburg!
The end photos of cameras in the sand, is that real or photoshopped? They are cool.
Thanks man! It’s Dall•E!

A broken screw and a bit of sand was enough!
Moin, wer ist denn der besagte Hasselblad Spezialist wenn man fragen darf? Würde sicher den ein oder anderen interessieren.
Grüße ✌️
Google Hasselblad Deutschland Ahrensburg!
