      Many other humans went after Thanos(BP, Falcon, Widow, etc.) But it was Steve's RAGE in his face and his action, he went for the Gauntlet hand trying to remove the only thing that mattered in the moment, plus with his skill/abilities he was able to land blows on Thanos which is hard to do.
      I also believe Steve's will power actually activated the Stones,and it confused Thanos what was happening in that moment and why Thanos could not use that hand and had to hit him with the other hand.
      If Ronin having the Stone on a hammer gave him power than Cap touching the Gauntlet can do the same.
      The Stones work on will power and most creatures/people don't have the level of 'strength of will power' to utilize the stones which is why Peter and others did not have the same effect when coming into contact with it.
      Steve and the stones had a 'moment' and Thanos was affected by it, hence the look, then use of the bare hand to remove Steve.

    I had a similar reaction to "Bring Me Thanos" when I saw it in the theaters. Tears of joy. Till that scene, it seemed like the MCU never acknowledged that they had a god as a character. This is the only scene that made Thor the most important person and it was unexpected. Even Hemsworth himself said that he didn't believe it was going to be that special but got tingles when he saw in the theater. Probably because they've been nerfing Thor since his first solo movie. This to me is the best scene in the whole MCU because it felt so earned.
    Love your reactions ! :)

    • @cringebutyee1326

      They haven't been nerfing Thor. Thor has been nerfing Thor. In the comics, someone asks Thor why he doesn't just beat many of the villains they fight on his own, since he has the power to. Thor says that he holds back much of his power as a show of sportsmanship among his avenger compatriots, as he doesn't believe in flexing his true power to make his friends look bad. He knows he is a god. If you don't believe me, look it up.

    • @KingJomedia
      @KingJomedia 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cringebutyee1326 I believe you but it's a lame excuse. You mean to tell me that he got his ass whipped on purpose in Endgame? Thanos kicked his ass without any struggle and yet Captain America had to be the one to knock Thanos on his ass. Makes no sense that Thor didn't use lightning AT ALL against Thanos, when it clearly hurts him. It's kinda like Superman losing on purpose so Batman could win. I get sportsmanship against the outriders or ultron's little minions but I don't get it when it comes to the main villains. I would like to see Thor actually punch a main villain and see that it hurts them. Even if he doesn't win the fight. All I've seen is
      -Avengers 1 Thor clearly struggling against a much weaker Loki
      -Avengers 2 Thor getting hit multiple times by Ultron
      -Avengers 3 Thor hits Thanos with something that breaks easily in the beginning. Why not use punches since he was kicking the hulk's ass in Ragnarok, only using his hands. Well, at least we got the "Bring me Thanos" scene later on
      -Avengers 4... Well, I'm sure u saw that 🙏🏽

    • @cringebutyee1326
      @cringebutyee1326 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KingJomedia All good. I concede that it might not be exactly the same situation in the films. However, you have to remember that Thanos is an eternal. He is not a God, nor a purple hulk (he is far more powerful than hulk even without the infinity gauntlet or stones.) Not only is he an eternal, who are already more powerful than most earth heroes (on Thor's level) but he is a heavily augmented eternal. Thor has no chance against Thanos on his own 1v1. He probably didn't think to use lightning because at this point he's probably got tunnel vision and wants to feel every strike against Thanos (and for plot convenience so that when Cap lifts mjolnir and uses the lightning it is more impactful.)
      I'm probably not right about everything linking to the comics, but most people really underestimate both Thanos and Ultron. They are immensely powerful in different ways, especially Thanos. I'm sure both our arguments have some validity.

One is that it seemed like Thanos or reversed Vision to right before the stone was destroyed instead of the whole time Wanda was trying to break it. Two is that no one really seemed to act like they had just been reversed and were preparing to fight once again.

It was only temporary. On Titan he basically killed Drax, nebula and quill with the power stone just before he was ''captured'' but seconds after you see those three fall to the ground, you can see thanos using the soul stone (maybe reviving them) bc he doesn't want to kill anyone and wants to wait for the snap to detemine who survives and who doesn't. In Wakanda the scene where Thanos wants to get to Wanda he doesn't kill anyone (he does punch the crap out of black panther and captain america) Lastly he doesn't kill Wanda after destroying Vision and he doesn't kill Thor when he has a fricking axe in his chest. The ''man in a can'' is the only one where you can literally see that Thanos wants to use four stones one to destroy him. I know he uses the stones in multiple other times, but I hope after reading this, you can see that Thanos didn't use the stones to *kill* people, except Tony
      He killed the asgardians bc their population would be halved. He killed Loki bc it was sorta revenge from his failing in The Avengers and Heimdall was killed bc he made ''a mistake'' The way I see this is by sending Hulk to earth and warning the Avengers so the stones on earth would be way harder to collect. There’s a theory that when thanos punched cap, he actually killed him with that single blow bc when he uses the time stone to revert the explosion of the mind stone it also reverts what happened around him, such as the hulk buster not being stuck in the rock with less damage. Could jus be a reach but it’s a cool theory

    7:35 I saw it opening night in theaters and the crowd we were all so rowdy through the whole thing. Every character appearing, every plot twist, every death. Fun times.
    Edit: and then we spent two years feeling like this waiting for Endgame 25:54

    Fantastic, man! Well worth the wait. Something very similar happened in the comics, so those of us who grew up on the story knew it was coming, and it’s really quite delightful to watch people who have no idea discover it for the first time.

      I feel like the Snap wasn't as impactful in the comics, though. The big moment there was the battle itself. I'm glad the movie ended where it did.

    I remember watching this in cinemas and being so shaken at how dramatically and usually it ended. Every Marvel movie (or most other movies in general) before always had the protagonists win or some other positive resolution. But this, Infinity War was different. Thanos won, fifty percent was gone, and you felt the pain.

    Thanos didn't actually killed half of all life on Earth or anywhere. Imagine the planes without pilots, all the vehicles without their drivers....just hitting each other and falling on the ground killing everyone. Like that chopper crashing on that building. (I know its too Dark)

    Thanos gave Steve Rogers that look because when he was pulling the gauntlet, Steve was touching the soul stone finger which gave Thanos a flashback of Steve’s life ( a small kid from Brooklyn to this)

    I think the moment when Thor finally gets Thanos, just for him to turn the tables in a second again, is so underrated. From the hype of seeing Thor and to see that the Axe doesn't stop, to the moment you see that it hit Thanos and you feel relieved, to the realization... All in like 10 seconds

    Just found your channel and I am enjoying your reactions. In a strange way, I find it really nice to experience these films again vicariously through the eyes of someone who hasn’t seen them before. I snort laughed at the start of part one’s video when you said you’d take a shot every time a hero dies….you should have brought a bigger bottle!!! I’m looking forward to Endgame now and your reaction to ‘old’ Cap.
