"Optimism fading" I swear everyone had Jen's SAME reaction when Hulk faced Thanos and was winning for like a second or two and then Thanos turns it around and just demolishes Hulk.
In defense of Star Lord: Thanos in a way traumatized him by letting him think he was about to shoot Gamora. Then he bottled it up until he found out Thanos killed her. As for him not having inner strength to hold himself off, we’ve gotta remember he was raised by Yondu. That can’t be the best upbringing to teach him how to handle certain situations. That’s just how I interpret it, anyway.
Also if they took the infinity gauntlet off thanos would be able to easily get it back because he can call it back to himself as long as no one else is wearing it
@kratos I would say his action was humane, Remember in Civil war Tony did the same when he knew that bucky killed his parents, he didn't cared bucky was brainwashed, he went to kill him. Same.

@@anxarts7424 The vast majority wont. Sequels hardly ever match in sales, so those are all out, Widow has no weight sonce we all know she dies, and have largely stopped giving a shit thanks to the delays, things like Eternals and The Marvels nobody really gives a shit about, Shang Chi might be the only one to match thanks to China, then ANOTHER Fantastic Four, that will have to be a total restart, AGAIN, because the last one was god awful, and have to erase the two prior thanks to Chris Evans being Johnny Storm, which means that yaaaay, theyre once again doing the same plotpoint of "stop Doctor Doom" like they have for the last 20 years. The reason the first slate of movies dud so well is because they are all the fan favourites that the people want to see. The people want to see Ironman, not Ironheart, WANTED to see Captain Marvel, not Ms Marvel (though they still fucked that up), they want to see the Incredible Hulk, not Hulkling. When this movie was being released SO MANY people lamented that neither Tony nor Dr. Strange used the line "No shit Sherlock," at all in their interaction. Seeing as they BOTH played a version of Sherlock Holmes it was as if Destiny was moving them towards one of them saying that line. But speaking of best lines - Stan Lee had the best line ever: " I'm looking for a Tony Stank???" I'm on the floor laughing EVERY time he delivers it. @@IamnotJohnFord I hope I didn't sound like I was knocking her. Her powerset has actually pretty consistently been telepathy and telekinesis. Over her appearances her powers seem to have changed, but they're really just applied telepathy and telekinesis. Seeing Jen’s joy disappear in the first ten minutes was so worth the wait in the entirety of her MCU run. Such a precursor to what she ended up witnessing in the 2+ hours after that beating lmao I’m so glad y’all have finally gotten here!
The thing about Hulk is that, when they were in Saakar ( the planet from Ragnarok) Hulk was the best at fighting, and he continued winning for two years. Then a random guy appears and knocked him in 20 seconds, of course Hulk would get afraid of Thanos.
@@tmac731 Yeah, they explained it better in the deleted scene, but Hulk was sick of being Banner's "weapon", who was only allowed to be "awake" during life-or-death fights instead of the beloved independent hero he was on Sakaar.
This was a terrible story line. It is one of the worst tropes in all of the movies and I despise it. It's when the writers take away a standard power of a hero because the story doesn't work unless its gone. This is just BAD WRITING! The Hulk works on Anger. Losing a fight will generate More Anger.... the Hulk not coming back for revenge shouldn't even be possible.
No matter how many times I see "Infinity War" reaction videos, I never, ever get tired of seeing them! Watching people melt down, emotionally, after watching that movie the first time, is my drug! I am addicted to the pain! lol
The thing that I love the most out of all of this is the fact they're holding hands through it. It's almost like a couple going through a real intense and traumatic event together while still holding hands. It's hard for me to explain it correctly, but it's so romantic, and I love it. ❤💝💖💕🔥🔥
Rewatching the MCU with you guys is way better than rewatching them on my own, even though you only show the most important parts. Really enjoying these videos!
If Quill didn't attack Thanos at that moment then I would've like the mobie way less. It would've ruined his character, it GOTG1 he went back into the prison where he could lose at any time to retrieve his mixtape because of the emotional attachment. In GOTG2 he kept shooting at his father the moment he knew he put cancer in his mom, there was no moment of thought there was just a realisation and acting on it immediatly. And here he found out Gamora was killed, if he would have waited he wouldn't be the Peter Quill we knew anymore but just a aesthetic copy that's completely written differently.
Tbh when you put it like that, it makes sense. I still wish though Nebula tried to stop him or something but I also realized they had to make a movie so

Thor's entrance to the battle is one of my favorite parts in any movie. Epic!
"We're in the endgame now." Great reaction!
Jen: “They can’t kill him, he was one of my favorite characters!”
Me and Holden: 😬
"Optimism fading" I swear everyone had Jen's SAME reaction when Hulk faced Thanos and was winning for like a second or two and then Thanos turns it around and just demolishes Hulk.
In defense of Star Lord:
Thanos in a way traumatized him by letting him think he was about to shoot Gamora. Then he bottled it up until he found out Thanos killed her. As for him not having inner strength to hold himself off, we’ve gotta remember he was raised by Yondu. That can’t be the best upbringing to teach him how to handle certain situations.
That’s just how I interpret it, anyway.
It's the same way he shot at EGO when he realised Ego killed his mom.
Also just like imagine if the person you loved most in the world was killed by their own father… I think we’d all act out
Also if they took the infinity gauntlet off thanos would be able to easily get it back because he can call it back to himself as long as no one else is wearing it
@kratos I would say his action was humane,
Remember in Civil war Tony did the same when he knew that bucky killed his parents, he didn't cared bucky was brainwashed, he went to kill him.
Same.
@kratos aren’t we all

The most terrifying piece of dialogue of the MCU: Steve Rogers: "Oh god..."
That was supposedly a nod to Loki telling Thanos he’ll never be a god then steve saying that recognizing a higher power almost as though Thanos is on the same level. I have found no confirmation of this, just speculation.

Does she realize that there are a whole slate of new Marvel movies coming? She's gonna have to wait like we do.
To bad the rest arent going to live up to what was built by the first 3 phases.
@@cyanide7270 we never know man. I love all the old mcu characters but my friend loved only 2 of them, maybe he will love characters from future movies/shows....never know
@@anxarts7424 The vast majority wont.
Its like paying to see a Metallica or Guns n Roses and then only getting a tribute band, they just will not stack up and meet the standard thats been set, i guarantee it.
@@cyanide7270 my friend tried to convince me to watch star wars original trilogy, i watched it and i thought it was ok, but when i watched the new ones i thought they were better then the old ones, similarly i think that when my kids or grand kids will watch MCU they will like the new phase 5 6 7 characters rather then 1 2 3 4s characters. Its like when you used to eating a specific chocolate since childhood but then they rebrand it and change the flavour , you wont like the new flavour but your little brother might like it more then the old one.
And for your second statement, marvel still has some big fan faves left like
1. Fantastic four
2. Xmen
3. Inhumans (hopefully a reboot)
4. Daredevil (Defenders)
5. Ghost rider
7. So many many years of spiderman
8. Galactus
9. Dr.doom
10. Blade
This alone should get them to phase 8 or 9
Also remember as big as thanos is in mcu he was nothing in the comics/cartoon he was just another big bad. There are far better(fan favourite) villain in the comics and cartoons then him, for example Dr.doom or Magneto.

It's nuts that Jen is SO CLOSE to circling back to WandaVision again.
I'm so glad she liked Wanda and Vision's story in this movie.
Stan is just SO sincere while trying to read the poorly written name.
That line makes me laugh so hard every time too.

@@IamnotJohnFord I hope I didn't sound like I was knocking her. Her powerset has actually pretty consistently been telepathy and telekinesis. Over her appearances her powers seem to have changed, but they're really just applied telepathy and telekinesis. I just find humor in the fact that her powers *appear* to change (and the nature of her powers is still somewhat unclear), leading to a kind of "Superman powerset" where her power seems to be "whatever it needs to be to advance the plot".

The thing about Hulk is that, when they were in Saakar ( the planet from Ragnarok) Hulk was the best at fighting, and he continued winning for two years. Then a random guy appears and knocked him in 20 seconds, of course Hulk would get afraid of Thanos.
Hulk wasn’t scared of Thanos, he was tired of being the muscle for puny Banner and he hated Earth

Great observation!
Does anyone understand Thanos's philosophy or reasoning for his actions, not justifying it but at least understanding it
Tbh when you put it like that, it makes sense. I still wish though Nebula tried to stop him or something but I also realized they had to make a movie so
as Doc Strange said though everything that happened needed to, if Quill hadn't of done that it would mean game over
