Your enthusiasm for trying out the dishes is so infectious that I’m making a note of the eating places for when I’m next in Sg! Thank you! Happy that you love Singapore! 🥰
🇨🇦 Nice to revisit some of the tastes of Singapore; I ate SO well when I lived there. Still miss the food, thirty-five years later. I learned to eat durian (unlike many of European descent), even though I never learned to love it, haha. If you want to start a conversation with a Singaporean, just ask where is the best place to get duck rice, or hokkien mee, chili crab, or roti jala (insert favourite food here). Thanks for the memories. ❤️
Agree with you. Still miss the food even though over 15 years has passed by now. I did know the best place to get hokkien mee. Wonderful dish that will never taste the same when I make it 😢
Thank you for appreciating Singapore. 35 years is a long time, I hope you managed to or will come back and visit. Singapore will always welcome you back!
One of the best ... appreciate the variety and the way you enjoy the traditions and different.. good ambassador of food that you open people's eyes to them
that egg tart used to be 80c to $1.20 per piece about 15 years ago but right now it is about $2+. It was like a comfort food but the price is no longer comforting.
What a tour! I'm sooo jealous. Everything looked so delicious. The yam basket looked like taro puffs, which are my fave dim sum. I agree that the claypot would enhance the sweetness of the crab. As for the Kdogs, I'd be tempted by the creamy egg dog, but I'd HAVE to go w the kimchi dog. Cause kimchi on ANYTHING improves it 1000%. Sorry sauerkraut. But the winning dish of the night has to be the chicken skin- w squid paste-- GENIUS! ABSOLUTE GENIUS!
If Singapore was that foodie when I was there 40 years ago I wouldn’t have left. I would have found local employment and dug in for the long. J haul. I just love Asian food. Thanks for sharing. As always informative, entertaining and mouth watering.
Actually many food were better 40 years ago and better value. But there weren't many restaurants to choose from. Hawker centres are already in existence.
Love Singapore food. Its traditional, modern and most importantly the variety is amazing. I was wondering did you really have to eat all of that in One Day?
Bitter gourd is in season now in L.A and we have a huge abundance. I will only eat durian if it is ice cold and in other pastries. I don’t love them room temperature
White carrot cake - no soy sauce but it is flavored with fish sauce. The wok is cranked up scary hot and the fish sauce is drizzled down the side sizzling and full of flavour. I love it more than the black.
Amoy street is so interesting, On one hand you got the Hawker Center $4-$7 noodles, $1.50+ Kopi. Then across the street $20 noodles, $5 specialty coffee.
Wow Marion, I take my hat off to you! You could eat frog legs - not something I would eat!! Glad you enjoyed the different types of food in Singapore! Come back soon 😊😊
You captured the essence of the local food scene in Singapore so well in this short video. I wish everyone would skip all the unresearched haphazard food vlogs and watch this one!
Well, she didn't captured the local food tour, in very well. Only one Malay cuisine and the rest were Chinese. What about indian! She's oblivious that Singapore is multicultural. I'd rather skip her videos and a good representation of Singapore's diverse culture and food.
WOW! can you imagine watching this at morning here before even my breakfast ! thanks for this lovely episode full of flavours ))),,,,just for your info Green Flafel is not Israel ,,,its Pure Egyptian local Food ( the Flafel from hummus is Syrian & Lebanese),,,just the egyptian jewish people who left egypt to Occupied Palestine ( Israel now) took it with them ,,,,All people in the middle east know this fact ,,,,its just history ,,,LOVE to you & your team From Cairo,
@acsma97 my dear,,nothing to be mad about ,,and I don't care if people will go there or not ,,I just mentioned a fact weather you like it or not ,,,,stay in peace.
If you're not rushing for time, I'd like to suggest that you order the food items one by one as all these dishes taste much more delicious when they're served hot. I don't know about others, but for me, when I see a table full of food, I'll become full (not literally) and lose appetite. That's why I like attending Chinese dinner (in Singapore) because the dishes are served one at a time.
Hi Marion another great video… can’t see myself ordering a frog dish 🐸 anytime soon tho lol 😂. Didn’t even know people eat frogs!!! Think I’ll stick with chicken 🐔
FINALLY an ang moh who does reseach about carrot cake!!!! It's getting old whter they genuinely do not know or for click bait purpose. The info is out there!!! Update: oof... She's asian? Looks ang moh, or at least mixed... 😝
Hope to check these places out soon! 🎉😊 I'm pinning this video 😂 I'm craving already 😅 Yes, you're a bad Asian! Someone who doesn't like durian 😅... you kidding?
Quite likely they did it in a day. I think she personally just ate a little for videoing. Maybe the crew may eat too. But I believe a lot of food would be wasted.
you forgot to deep the craw first then sink your mouth to it.. the crab is called sri lanka mud crab to let people know.. rest of the world think of crab like snow or king crab.
Hmm, I'm troubled. There is obviously enough food for 20 people laid out before you on the table and, since you are not larger than the average HDB flat, you don't shove the whole of the cornucopia down your gob. Now I'm sure you have a crew with you to help you out, but where does all the food go? Mukbang with an ASMR has its joys. But gluttony, or alternatively simple waste of food is a sin after all.
The production value blows me away every time!!!! Yes Marion is the star but shout out to the amazing videographers and editors!!!!
Love your enthusiasm towards our local food culture! 😋
Your enthusiasm for trying out the dishes is so infectious that I’m making a note of the eating places for when I’m next in Sg! Thank you! Happy that you love Singapore! 🥰
What i love about your food tour in chinatown is that, there are so many varieties in it and you are so open minded to try everything…
Glad you enjoyed all the different tastes!

Me too…I love Singapore…the food…the city…everything
I grew up here and now in London I miss the food so much. I went there a couple of times recently just to eat. The cravings are real.
One of the best ... appreciate the variety and the way you enjoy the traditions and different.. good ambassador of food that you open people's eyes to them
Okay now we need you to recreate these dishes and then share them with us so we can also enjoy the delicious cuisine 🎉
that egg tart used to be 80c to $1.20 per piece about 15 years ago but right now it is about $2+.
It was like a comfort food but the price is no longer comforting.
Yea ikr. Buy 1=buy 10eggs...
I love the flaky Portuguese eggtart but now $2+/pcs...rip tastebuds.
Oh wow. You really make me wanna go back to Singapore soon to eat ❤
Great video - cool locations and delicious food both traditional and modern. Props to the camare guy and editors as well.
Oh wow another fabulous armchair tour! Thanks for letting us experience Singapore with you and crew!
I have really enjoyed watching this - your infectious energy livens up the video!
Fantastic Marion.
I can’t wait to go to Singapore in November. Yum!!!!!
Oh!!! You went to Tong Heng. I love their egg tarts!
Yum! This looks delicious!

i don't know about durian, but Duran Duran is pretty darn tasty 😄
Love ❤ SG... second home...will keep going back as long as I can..🤗
I love street food videos like this. 🙂
Thank you!
Bitter gourd is in season now in L.A and we have a huge abundance.
I will only eat durian if it is ice cold and in other pastries. I don’t love them room temperature
Cant wait to go to Singapore next week! 😊
Wow , really interesting places you have unlock in this food series . Nicely done
The foods tour is infectious like your smile

Ok, now let's see you recreate that EGG TART moment in your kitchen 😂😂😂😂
Youre making me so hungry Marion 🤤
Those foods look very delicious 😋
The begedil also looks like a frikadel which I love!
Oh my goodness my old home
I really hope you do your version of these foods.
Great food wow. On my way in December
Love your videos! 😍
Thank you! 😃
Fantastic food vlog! But did you seriously eat all of that in a day!!! Wowser!!!
Actually i have not eaten Tong Heng egg tarts before. I asked friends around me and most said the same.
Marion, would you ever consider hosting a foodie vacation we can join? I’d jump in on that in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing your food adventures.
Your editing skills are on fire!!
You should try the Clayfish Hor Fun at Hong Lim Complex
There’s a soya beancurd filling at Peh Kio old bakery
What a great video again. Could you please do one on Hong Kong, i am planing to go there next year and would love to follow your food-steps :)
Our whole family was salivating watching you eat that crab. lol
I MISS ALSO THE FOOD THERE IN SG😭
Wow Marion, I take my hat off to you! You could eat frog legs - not something I would eat!! Glad you enjoyed the different types of food in Singapore! Come back soon 😊😊
I'd have a bite of everything🤩

@@manithangavalu7885 There are a number of videos on Singapore. She goes to little india in one of them.
Omg I wish Marion would take me out to eat foods ❤❤❤
I'm salivating 😊
welcome to Singapore!!!
Tong heng egg tarts are the OG egg tart and probably the best in SG
Love J2’s curry puff
Looks soooo good ❤
I want that crab claw so bad! 🤣
Im guyanese and I love East Asian and south asian food!
That Peking Duck - OMFG!
Excellent video ! ❤
🤤🤤🤤 I need to start practicing eating with chopsticks, so I can travel to Singapore!
After all the food tour,i only have one question. What's your lipstick and shade? 😅 it did not budge from all the eating and drinking 😄
oh you miss the scallion in the peking duck and crepe. but still good
must be fun
It amazed me how you can put all that in the stomach in the same day and survive!!!
🤣🤣🤣 I’m a professional. Don’t try this at home LOL
She had just one bite of everything and leave the rest for the crew to polish off 😆
Oh noooooo marion ur here 😮😮😮 wish i could see u here for real
WOW! can you imagine watching this at morning here before even my breakfast ! thanks for this lovely episode full of flavours ))),,,,just for your info Green Flafel is not Israel ,,,its Pure Egyptian local Food ( the Flafel from hummus is Syrian & Lebanese),,,just the egyptian jewish people who left egypt to Occupied Palestine ( Israel now) took it with them ,,,,All people in the middle east know this fact ,,,,its just history ,,,LOVE to you & your team From Cairo,
She’s smart enough to know this :) you’re just mad she featured an Israeli restaurant 😂 i knew people will come for her for eating there. Stay mad
@acsma97 my dear,,nothing to be mad about ,,and I don't care if people will go there or not ,,I just mentioned a fact weather you like it or not ,,,,stay in peace.
Great video!
One of your best eps! BTW it's pronounced chi with a zee sound. Oops. I realise that the chi is also hard for non Chinese speakers!
Does the first dish you tired, the radish dish, is that vegetarian? Of is there meat inside?
Its usually cooked with eggs so not vegetarian friendly 😅
please go to malaysia!!
the hotdog place at 14:00 has sadly closed :(
Try to do a Portuguese Pastel de Nata so I can see your version, please 😁
Wish I was with you!!

Chinese dinner (in Singapore) are the worst imo. I can get ready to brush my teeth and sleep by teh time the last dish is served
@@sidneylock5667 Depends on the restaurant, you can actually ask them to serve the dishes at your pace.
Can you list the restaurant names?
Hi Marion another great video… can’t see myself ordering a frog dish 🐸 anytime soon tho lol 😂. Didn’t even know people eat frogs!!! Think I’ll stick with chicken 🐔
It's actually pretty good but i still feel squeamish eating it.
For roast peking duck, I prefer to get it chop up in pieces and eat the meat with the skin.
This is going to sound like a stupid question but is radish cake made with radish?
Shake n dog closed down unfortunately - so we will no longer get to try the Kaya banana hotdog that was featured in your video 😢
FINALLY an ang moh who does reseach about carrot cake!!!!
It's getting old whter they genuinely do not know or for click bait purpose. The info is out there!!!

Drinking game: take a shot each time you hear “it’s SO GOOD!”
日本にも来て!
😍😍😍
living in SG all my 47yrs life. i have only eaten 10% of what u ate here....
Same. Possibly only fried carrot cake I have eaten before.
Falafels is my favourite Egyptian food - although there is also a similar dish found in India (~600 BC).
😃
I'm ya new subscriber Love ya eating U dnt care to be fat big girl Love it ❤❤❤
Curious to know how many days this was filmed over. You're wearing the same dress but there's no way you could have eaten that much in one day.
Quite likely they did it in a day. I think she personally just ate a little for videoing. Maybe the crew may eat too. But I believe a lot of food would be wasted.
Can u teach us some vegetarian dishes
How do you keep your lipstck on? LOL!!
Stinky bomb 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I hope the huge selection of food you ordered was shared with your working crew and didnt contribute to food wastage
you forgot to deep the craw first then sink your mouth to it.. the crab is called sri lanka mud crab to let people know.. rest of the world think of crab like snow or king crab.
This is why I'm envious of Asian countries, why does anyone want to come to the UK when you can go there instead..........
Hmm,
I'm troubled.
1 trip... split into many videos
what my mistick why egnor my you gruop
Oh Marion, please don't call felafel "Israeli" urgh.
I'm disappointed, you didn't visit any indian restaurants.
That's not Israeli food, that's Palastinian or Lebanese food.
