Hey guys!!!! 🎉🎉🎉 just came across your channel u only hv a few videos up but u guys r so pro at it! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing our home food so nice! Thanks for this video n all the best for ur adventures!! ❤
I’ve watched so many food blogger showcasing Kaya toast with egg but you are the one doing the ‘right’ thing! Like me, instead of dipping into the egg, I use the tea spoon to scoop up the egg and lay over the toast, it’s totally another level 😊
As a fellow Singaporean, I must say this is hands-down one of the best showcases of Singaporean food I’ve seen! I will also recommend any tourist to get yourself a fresh sugarcane drink, especially during the hot weather. Love the content, keep doing what you're doing! ❤ Can't wait to see you guys feature Thailand!
Hello dear Darien and Joanna, Thank you for the Singapore video you posted on TH-cam! We really enjoyed it! An other question, me and my wife are from the Netherlands (in europe) and we want to visit Singapore in the near future. Do you guys know some trustable food and culture tourguide in Singapore? It can be an student for example, we really want to get to know the real Singapore and for us it would be the first time we visit Asia. Thank you, we hope to hear back! Amanda and Ralf
Hey Amanda and Ralf, exciting stuff and welcome to Singapore! Klook (a travel booking app platform) is really popular in Asia. If you’re looking for a local tour guide, Monster Day Tours and Let’s Go Tour are popular options as well. But if you are open to touring without a guide, Singapore is very safe and convenient via public trains (MRT) and buses (I’d encourage using Moovit app to plan your routes - locals are generally happy to engage and have a conversation too, so feel free to ask around for help). Definitely check out the 3 areas in the video and the food places, because it’ll take you to Hawker centres and Coffee Shops that are typical to local life here :) (besides our iconic Jewel Changi Airport, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa). Happy travels!
Yes, everything is getting insanely pricey in SG. I try to only order from TPY Soon Heng rojak when the tall uncle prepares it (different staff have different standards). Thanks for your recommendation, will give the one at Whampoa a try!
This brother and sister video looks really cute and they look so so similar their nose and smiles also looks like twins. Just wondering would be nicer if the lady had some make up on rather then plain face to be more social media or youtube friendly but thats my 2 cents worth of thought. Really nice to see a sibling video touring Singapore island for food. Like the reference to history too great job guys. Keep up the good work.

Hi! Chef Kang is located in Jackson Square, here’s the exact address: 11 Lor 3 Toa Payoh, Block C Jackson Square, Singapore 319579
More information halal food in sg pls 👍🏼
Thanks for showing all these lovely Food places. Please be aware that COCKLES are notorious for causing Hepatitis !!!!! Happy food hunting.
Thanks for letting us know! And glad you enjoyed the video 😃
Have watched a lot of foreigners trying out Ya Kun and the main branch actually. 😂
It’s the best kaya toast in Singapore for a reason 😋
Ya Kun is too pricy, same as Toastbox. Toa Payoh Soon Heng rojak standard drop tremedously and Whampoo one is still the best.

@@darienandjoanna Ya, but Whampoo Rojak best go before noon time, think last order is before 1:00pm if not wrong.
