I live in the city she grew up in. Portland Maine. I also live about a half mile from one of the private schools she went to. I forget what town her mom lives in now. Steven at one time was a silent partner of a little high end diner about a five minute walk from where I live.
It really does relate well to a parent and child relationship. Diane Warren got the actual inspiration when she watched a Barbara Walter’s interview with Streisand and James Brolin. James said about Barbra “he didn’t want to miss a thing”, and she wrote down for future use.
Ironically appropriate, since his daughter Liv Tyler is shown at the end of the video touching the screen where Steven’s image has replaced the film’s footage of Bruce Willis, who plays her dad in the movie. In real life Steven missed a lot of Liv’s childhood because he was a drug addict when she was born so Todd Rundgren, who had been seeing her mom, signed the birth certificate. Liv didn’t meet Steven until she was about eight years old and didn’t find out he was her biological father until she was ten and he was just out of rehab. They are very close now and he has an active role in her kids’ lives as well.
@@terri2494 The ironic part of that was her mom & the man she thought was her dad at the time never told her that Steven was her father. She literally saw him performing on TV one time, noticed the similarities and at 10 years old actually turned to her mom and asked "Is Steven my dad?"

They don’t look alike but they have the big lips and some facial similarities. Tyler doesn’t exactly have Jagger’s signature strut but he’s every bit as flamboyant.
I get why people see a physical similarity except, in my opinion, Steven is much better looking, but I’ve never understood why people think they sound alike , the only similarities in their music is that they both are heavily blues influenced and they are in the rock genre. But the voices are extremely different and the way they play music is different.
The brunette in the film clip and the movie is Stephen Tyler’s illegitimate love child. When she found out he was her father she wanted to meet him and took his name. But had no interest in his money. Instead she went on to forge a career as an actress after modelling from the age of 14. Her father’s genes made her uniquely beautiful which forged her success.

That is the way I always took it as well. When my first daughter was born my now exwife always sang it to her. This song always tears me up because of that.
My pops was my best friend and my rock. He took care of and supported me my whole life. I was always his baby even into adulthood. When i was 38 he got cancer. We found out it was stage 4 metastasized kidney cancer, so it had already spread thru his whole body especially to his lungs. Doctors said he had 6 months to a year to live. I quit my job and became his full time caregiver. I watched him become weaker with LITERALLY minute and he suffered so much pain and struggled so bad just to breathe because of the size of the tumors in his chest. He was on 18 medications that I had to administer at different times in most cases multiple times a day. He was on oxygen and I had to test his oxygen levels constantly to make sure they didnt drop below a certain level. As the cancer took over his brain he became more and more confused and sometimes didnt know who I was but he always trusted me and knew I was taking care of him. The last movie we watched together before he died was Armageddon. The scene where Liv Tyler has to say goodbye to her dad tore me up and I had to literally jump up and run to the bathroom to cry because I never let him see me cry the entire time I took care of him. It was so hard and I honestly only slept maybe an hour or two a day because I had to constantly watch over him to make sure he was getting enough oxygen and to give him his medication and try to alleviate his pain as much as possible. So the line in the song "I could stay awake just to hear you breathing" hit me so hard because that's EXACTLY what I did. "Every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure, don't want to close my eyes. Dont want to fall asleep cause id miss you baby and I Dont want to miss a thing" feels like it was a line straight from my soul. I didnt want to miss a thing because I knew he was not long for this world. He was given 6-12 months to live but died exactly a month after we found out his diagnosis. The night he died I knew it was happening and I sat with him and because our love of music was always something that we shared i played him his favorite songs. This song was one I played as I held his hand and told him I loved him so so much. It was one of the hardest and saddest moments of my life but I am so grateful I was able to be there with him. This song is not one I can listen to very often but it is one of the most meaningful songs in my life and it made me really happy to see you react to it. Loved your reaction again on this one. These love songs always result in you talking about your love for your wife and children. You totally understand that they are a treasure in your life and that God is your Shepherd. You really are a wonderful guy BP. This song HAS to be on your playlist!! 😊
The blonde in his music videos was Alicia Silverstone. The brunette was Liv Tyler...the lead singers daughter. This song was made for the movie Armageddon. I love this band! You have to listen to their song "Amazing". Great great song!!! BTW, Steven Tyler is so much older than me, but there is something about him that makes him so sexy to me. Just the way he moves. So sexy!!! And his voice... So perfectly imperfect. Also, your channel is absolutely perfect for someone like me. I listen to so many different genres of music, and you have a great mix of everything. And it's so cool watching you discover all this music that I've loved for so many years.
My favorite song for many, many years. It never gets old for me, I absolutely adore this song. And it became more precious 12 years ago when I became a mom 💙
Narrow down your playlist to top 10 or top 20 songs? Are you kidding. With all the good music through the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s my playlist is in the thousands!
This song came out a few weeks before I gave birth to my first child and every night when I had to get up for that 2 AM feeding, this song ran through my head as I stared at my newborn son. It will always hold that special meaning to me, and every time I hear it I am immediately brought back to those moments, even though he is now almost 26 years old and living on his own, living his own life, I hear this song and I see his beautiful little baby face. Fun fact, the actress in Armageddon is Liv Tyler, Steven Tyler's daughter, so that last scene with her crying and touching the computer screen with Steven's face on it is extra.
It was Alicia Silverstone that starred in a trilogy of Aerosmith videos in 1994 "Cryin'", "Amazing", and "Crazy". Crazy also featured Liv Tyler, Steven Tyler's daughter, who starred in "Armageddon" as the daughter of Bruce Willis's character.
When they were first approached to do this song, they didn't want to do it but then Steve was shown some movie scenes with his daughter and that's what swayed them to do it.
Lost my mom to cancer 3 years ago at 2 weeks before her 50th birthday on easter, she went home ot be with the Lord. im only 32 mind you and i have a 16yr old sister.. which was even rougher for her obviously i had more time on earth with her..Man, every time i hear this song i think of my mom, she loved Tesla, Ratt, Motely Crue, all the classic Hair Metal and Classic Rock/Metal bands and Aerosmith and this song in particular. I miss her so much man, hope everyone who still have their parents, their children, significant other, etc don't forget to cherish all the moments and times you have with them.
Look at your baby girl and then remember this song. He was singing to his daughter which is why they changed the video last scene to her seeing Steven on the screen where in the movie she was seeing Bruce (her dad in the movie).
I'll tell you what movies in the 80s and 90s had amazing soundtracks top gun, footloose, dazed and confused, Armageddon..just all throughout the 2 decades. Was inspiring and just beautiful
@12:01 In the movie on the TV was Bruce Willis who played Grace's father played by Liv Tyler. And he was explaining how AJ saved everyone, but it was Harry's (Willis) call. Which of course at the end of the video is why they put Steven Tyler on the screen, and let the end of the movie roll where Grace (Liv) reach out for the monitor to touch her father.
I’m a proud Bostonian who loves that Aerosmith is from my hometown! I even used to work with Joe Perry’s cousin (who looked just like him). Great band. Thanks for choosing this one. 🌺✌️
The beautiful brunette that starred in the movie was Liv Tyler, and she is Steven Tyler's real daughter. The sweetest part about this video is when she touches the screen in the movie Armaggedon, it's because her dad, played by Bruce Willis in the movie, is about to die, but in the music video, they replaced Bruce Willis on the screen she touches with her real father, Steven Tyler. That's what makes me cry. I believe that after she got the role in the film, they asked Aerosmith to perform a song for the film, but they didn't write the song, however, they performed the heck out of it..... Full Circle....
It’s wild I’ve been here to watch you gain 220k subscribers. I’m so so happy for you and this new studio! For many more years to come I hope man! Love this reaction and this song! Been years since I’ve heard it!
ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES.❤❤ I'm 60 and grew up 10 miles from the groups Home town. The Cast rocked, Ben Aflek, Liv Tyler and Bruce Willis killed it. I SAW AEROSMITH LIVE IN NORFOLK VA IN 1990. My kids grew up on their greatest hits and stole it from me when she left home😊 ONE OF MY FAVORITE LOVE SONGS.😊❤
Aerosmith was my first love as far as a rock band and the first name that went on my wall with fluorescent paint and a black light. I love Stevie Tyler. There's nothing sexier than a hard core rock artist singing a love song. You should check out "You See Me Crying", my favorite Aerosmith song.
My frisson (chills & chillbumps ALL over my arms) just set off at the 3:57 mark.... Good Lord! LOL Funny story: I was working at NASA when Armageddon was made/released. Aerosmith came to the site for a tour & employees were standing around like groupies for a chance to catch a glimpse! They came out of the Mission Control building, got into a black SVU & sat there for a few minutes- women SCREAMING out to them! - until one of them rolled down one of the back windows and a woman RAN up the SVU and threw herself into the open window and kissed one of them! (Seriously, it was like being in a movie watching this!) When they finally pried her out of the door, the first words out of her mouth was how good he smelled! LOLOLOL!
I met some these guys in the early 1970's when I was at work. I worked in a High-End showroom in Dedham Massachusetts that sold quality & designer Kitchens and Bath products! This was before there was a Home Depots. They were just looking and shopping with their ladies. Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Tom Hamiton, the bass player were the ones that came in. I first noticed the Ferrari's and Lamborghini's pulling into the lot. I didn't have a clue who it was then, but when they came in, I recognized them. I greeted them and was hoping for a sale. Privacy and store policy in mind, I only said "I'm here for any information you may need of the products., by the way I like your music! This was before the blizzard of 78, I believe they had completed Toy's in the Attic and Rocks, maybe Draw the line. They left with a thank you and a smile - No Sale :( .... Yes, I also thought Tyler was a Mick Jagger want-a-bee, but that was mostly Tyler. They aren't the Stones and really don't need to be. I like their music.
I loved Asrosmith back in the 80s and 90s. And thanks to “Walk this Way”, I discovered I like Hip Hop several years earlier than I probably would have.
Hey sir you should do a video of your personal top 10 songs that you have reacted to. Like the ones either hit you in the feels the best or the ones you had the most fun doing or the ones that have played on your personal playlist the most due to hearing it from reaction videos
Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler, Steven Tyler's daughter, were in those videos you're thinking of. Liv Tyler was also in that movie. Steven Tyler is often referred to as the American Mick Jagger because of their similar looks (lips) and their moves on stage.
I saw Aerosmith play once. Most of the crowd, including me, were in balcony seats. Halfway through the concert, Steven Tyler stopped singing and said that it was a fucking rock n roll concert and told security to let everyone go to the floor. So the second half, I could almost touch the scarf on his mic. He's a cool fucking dude!
Iconic band, phenomenal catalog. This song is a great song to dance to, along with Bryan Adams' "EVERYTHING I DO" and Neil Young's "HARVEST MOON". And "MORNING DESIRE" by Kenny Rogers, and Richard Marx's "RIGHT HERE WAITING", and... well, maybe a few dozen more. Better start a "Great Songs To Dance To" playlist.
This is a great song! It was written by Diane Warren who was inspired to write the after seeing the romance between actor James Brolin and singer Barbra Streisand. This song was Aerosmith’s first No. 1 hi.
I grew up listening to Aerosmith. They had tons and tons of airplay! I love "Dream On" and that song is always in my heart. Liv Tyler in the Armageddon movie is Steven Tyler's biological daughter. I think he wrote this and sang it to her. She is so beautiful. She also played Arwen in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
This song was in the movie Armageddon with Bruce Willis and Steven Tylers daughter, Liv Tyler. The dark-haired girl in the video sitting next to Bruce Willis, is Steven's daughter, Liv.
The song really does work for both that significant other that you love so much, but also to your children as well. I’ve been a bit spoiled in the fact I’m the only girl my Dad has, and the first child of three. He gets those moments with his boys, but times with us two have always been on the sweet side. I think it’s wonderful for men to show that side to their little girls, especially as they’re the first example their daughters have of how they should be treated by the opposite sex. Starting from the age of 10, my Dad would occasionally take me out on a father-daughter date to do just that. Opening the door, helping me to my seat, and just treating me to a meal or movie. He even gave me a card on Father’s Day once, explaining that I’m the reason he’s a father. Such a sweet moment I’ve cherished since. Being all grown up now, and my Dad reaching his golden years, I always try to take more time to just spend some time with him. So, believe me when I say that us little girls definitely remember those sweet moments our Daddies made for us. ❤
The music video "Cryin" .. the one you were quoting... that video has the blonde I think you were talking about and a brunette... The blonde would be "Alicia Silverstone"(Great Actress!!) and the Brunette (who's in multiple vids) is none other than Steven Tyler's daughter... Liv Tyler.. she also stars in the movie This music video is for "Armageddon" She is BEAUTIFUL.. and also a great actress!!

This is a wonderful song, with beautiful lyrics. Its meaning can take on a lot of personal significance for everyone..about a significant other....children. It is universal. Thank you for the wide-reaching scope of your reactions. Even when I'm not familiar with the song, I always tune in....I'm learning also. We appreciate you so much.
Aerosmiths song Dream On came out in 1973. Its one of my favorite songs ever. Saw them in concert a few yrs ago and Steven Tyler killed it. They are unbelievable with hit after hit under their belt. So many good ones to choose from but if you wanna check out another one Dream On is def worth your time
The first album I bought with my own money was a cassette of Aerosmith's Permanent Vacation after getting bombarded with "Angel" videos on MTV. Since then, also, being from Boston, they became by far my favorite rock band.

“Aerosmith Dream On Live Woodstock 94” is a good one
My favorite song for many, many years. It never gets old for me, I absolutely adore this song. And it became more precious 12 years ago when I became a mom 💙
Narrow down your playlist to top 10 or top 20 songs? Are you kidding. With all the good music through the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s my playlist is in the thousands!
I adopted a cocker spaniel a long time ago & he had papers & his name was Steven Tyler.
I loved the song & the movie. I enjoyed the reaction.
This my husband and I wedding first dance song. I don't think I'm alone.
That is how much I love it.
This is one of my favorite Aerosmith songs I love a lot of Aerosmith but I love this song
"I was cryin' when I met you ..." - That song is called "Cryin'."
Both Steven and mick have those LARGE LIPS AND MOUTHS
ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES.❤❤
I'm 60 and grew up 10 miles from the groups
Home town. The Cast rocked, Ben Aflek, Liv Tyler
and Bruce Willis killed it. I SAW AEROSMITH LIVE
IN NORFOLK VA IN 1990. My kids grew up on their
greatest hits and stole it from me when she left home😊
ONE OF MY FAVORITE LOVE SONGS.😊❤
Aerosmith was my first love as far as a rock band and the first name that went on my wall with fluorescent paint and a black light. I love Stevie Tyler. There's nothing sexier than a hard core rock artist singing a love song. You should check out "You See Me Crying", my favorite Aerosmith song.
My frisson (chills & chillbumps ALL over my arms) just set off at the 3:57 mark.... Good Lord! LOL
Funny story: I was working at NASA when Armageddon was made/released. LOLOLOL!
This was my song for someone who has passed. Im officially a crying mess right now
Definitely need to check out their songs. Angel, Janie's Got a Gun, Train Kept A Rollin, Love In An Elevator, and of course Walk This Way
70s Walk this way,
Gotta Love Aerosmith & Steven Tyler!! 🤘🏻🤩😎💯 His daughter Liv is in this cuz it was the movie Armageddon & she was in the movie & her dad sang this!
Dang, I have owned all Aerosmith albums. This is one of the most romantic song ever recorded. It just doesn't feel like a parent/child thing.
1970s Aerosmith rocks...yes, please explore their catalog. 🙂
The beautiful Liz Tyler❤😂 Steven's daughter. And yes this was on the soundtrack to Armageddon 😂
Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler, Steven Tyler's daughter, were in those videos you're thinking of. Liv Tyler was also in that movie. Steven Tyler is often referred to as the American Mick Jagger because of their similar looks (lips) and their moves on stage.
One of my all time favorite MOVIES AND one of my all time favorite SONGS. 😍 ❤️
I feel like in the late 70s and 80s, rock bands always had that one ballad. Love Aerosmith. Great reaction 😁
Have seen them at least 10 times and they NEVER disappoint!!
I love how you are loyal and dedicated to your family! Great reaction BP
Great song, it’s on my playlist too!❤️✌🏻🎶
This song was in the movie Armageddon with Bruce Willis and Steven Tylers daughter, Liv Tyler. The dark-haired girl in the video sitting next to Bruce Willis, is Steven's daughter, Liv.
Kings and Queens is my favorite Aerosmith song. Oldie but my fav!
This song is for you mom i miss you happy birthday 🎂
As a father of daughters, you need to think of it as father to daughter!
I think Liv is just beautiful and represents the good parts of her Dad. He can’t deny her.
This song came at a good time for reactions.. we lost a dear friend to our community this week... a fire chief that meant a lot to everyone... very sad he was only 40yrs old left a wife and 2 kids... hearing this song made me think of him... thank u for reacting to this...
We are going to see Aerosmith 2/11/25 in Orlando FL. STEVEN TYLER is 76 years old!! Can't wait, my daughter is going with me!!
With his daughter Liv in there as well, fantastic.
The first song you were talking about is called Crying. the two girls were Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler , who's father is Steven Tyler. I love Aerosmith. So many great songs.
When I saw the lead singer, Steve Tyler, I was pretty sure he was also on American Idol a long time ago. He was an amazing singer!!!!!
This song ended up being more popular than the movie
We waited for tickets all night for the Pump tour. We ended up 3rd row. It was an amazing show. The whole experience was a memory.
Aerosmiths song Dream On came out in 1973. Its one of my favorite songs ever. Saw them in concert a few yrs ago and Steven Tyler killed it. They are unbelievable with hit after hit under their belt. So many good ones to choose from but if you wanna check out another one Dream On is def worth your time
OOOO YAAAAH BACK IN THE SADDLE also any 70s Areoamith ROCKED period
The first album I bought with my own money was a cassette of Aerosmith's Permanent Vacation after getting bombarded with "Angel" videos on MTV. Since then, also, being from Boston, they became by far my favorite rock band.
Oh I love his voice
Steven Tyler seen them in 1986
They stopped drinking and the venue was alcohol free... Very awesome concert... 👈💯🤘His Daughter is Liv Tyler.... Also this video is beautiful... ARMAGEDDON
GREATEST 🎥 MOVIE 🍿 EVER

Such a great ballad with an awesome chord progression and melody
Every time you mention how important your family is to you , I know we are cut from the same mold !!! Your just a little younger and a tad darker 🤣🤣!! Love your reactions brother!!!!
A Beautiful song 🎵. I've always loved Steven Tyler's voice ❤This was played at my son's wedding ❤.
This is definitely one of my favorite Aerosmith songs. Try kings and queens or remember ( walking in the rain) which is a fire cover. Great reaction as usual my friend and Peace out ✌️ ☮️
That line is sooo romantic, I would love ❤️ this kind of dedication. Steven Tyler is so hot 🥵 with amazing vocals and body language 🥰👏
Such a great song ❤still gives me chills.
Woooooooo! Have you ever done Walk This Way with them and Run DMC? It was epic when it happened because of rock/rap cross over!
That song brought Aerosmith back to life. They were treading water when Steve Tyler realized they needed to crossover and get a new crowd of fans to hear them.
😂😂😂😂 "you're getting a little needy" that cracked me up. However you're not wrong.
I saw them live back in 97. They put on a hell of a show!
BP you have tapped into popular culture. It spans decades before us and will continue decades after us.
Yeah this song became an instant staple at weddings it's a very romantic song hell it was played up my wedding
Watching your reactions I’m always reminded of what awesome music I grew up with. The seventy’s and eighty’s. They were awesome.
“Big Ten Inch”is a great Aerosmith song.
❤❤❤loved this movie loved this song ❤❤❤
