Good video! I appreciate the research that you’ve done and the fact that all metros in the description were numbered correctly (good job!). And I also respect you for waiting to catch and ride 164 on M3, since the IVAs are not as common on M3 anymore. Very good video, subscribed and liked.
Thanks, I have more of Bucharest (and a lot of other subway systems) to upload in the coming months. I will be back in Bucharest next year and look forward to catching them again
@@ATPTransit Hopefully! We dont know for how long the few trains that are on M3 will still run. The last three IVA trains from M3 will be withdrawn when the new 13 Alstom subways will arrive, and the Alstom trains _should_ (we hope they do) arrive in 2024. But the IVA trains from M4 will still operate for at least 4-5 years.
I really do think the Bucharest subway is very interesting thanks to both it's rolling stock, but also in how the routes are laid out. The IVAs especially are really interesting once you do some research on them (i.e. initial drawings resembling BART trains - like you specified, 3 car concept, AC prototype, Alstom rebuild proposal and, the most interesting, the "Blue Dreams")
Now I know little to nothing about this system but the train’s honestly look pretty cool with the graffiti. I do wonder if the graffiti is intentional or if people do put graffiti on the trains. If people do put it on there it’s kind of cool how they don’t bother to remove it. Give each car its own unique look.
It's actual graffiti - illegal. There was a story on the taggers and how the Metro basically gave up on repainting them due to the cars being tagged right after they would be cleaned up

@@ATPTransit that sucks. It still gives the car a cool look but the behavior isn’t cool at all.
Anyone gonna ignore the fact he has 1k subs?
Thanks for noticing - I've been horribly busy these past couple weeks but will do a post soon
I wish Bart would keep 1 C2
