      Hey who_tee check the aea Zeus 72 and 58 cal they are putting out 1500 fpe !! My aea Challenger .50 bullpup puts out about 50 fpe less than the Hammer but I only payed 660$ for it and I also have 2 six round mags. It’s a blast to shoot lol and I love the 6 round mags and the smooth side cocking lever.

    Man, I love these air gun videos. I've been wanting to get into air guns, but they tend to be a bit beyond my budget. But I got a buddy who absolutely loves them and has used them to smack some coyotes at night in our area and never once woke us up with the shot, while my coyote bing bang wakes the whole holler. So I've been putting money aside to get myself one too so that I don't have to apologize to the neighbors in the morning after we spend a night working to rid the holler of the coyote menace.

      @@Visvangmeneer currently the only limitation is the strength of the air tanks. If you could double the 4500 psi to 9000 you’d be able to surpass firearm ballistics.

      If you want more than 5 high power shots, you want to go with an AEA .50 CAL. AEA has more power and far more shots than the mammer, plus it has 6 shot rotory mags and it costs less👍 You only get 3 shots from the Hammer.

    • @xntumrfo9ivrnwf
      @xntumrfo9ivrnwf 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I’ve been holding back for awhile now about getting a big bore Air Rifle, there’s so many claims out there about their products, but this one looks nice and shoots great, and that’s always a selling point with me! I don’t care how good it looks, 1) its got to be extremely reliable and 2) it’s gotta be accurate. After all as the great Colonel Townsend said, “only accurate rifles are interesting”.

    I've been into airguns since I was a kid in 1980. 😀 Even though I have many firearms now. Take a look at the Airringer pistol. Which is a pretty amazing high pressure air cartridge weapon that fires two small bolts. Developed to provide an unregulated (under German law) viable alternative to a handgun in Germany, where it's legal to carry. Which it definitely is. I believe it's capable of performance in the .32 to .380 Auto class. I use a high speed crossbow bag as a target. The surprisingly loud blast delights me every time I fire it. 😃

    You should pick up some hemostats to get those bullets out of the gel block. With a hemostat you won't need to carve your block up. Just stick the hemostat in and grab your bullets with no effort and pull it out.
    You can pick up a pair of hemostats at Amazon or even Sportsman guide.
    I learned about hemostats for getting fish hooks out, especially when the fish swallows the hook.

He actually laughed while shooting him. He went to get his leg x rayed and It ended up going 6 inches into his thigh and missed his femoral artery by half an inch. It blew my mind to think he was that stupid. The pellet gun was capable of firing at 1000fps and there was a gold pellet in it adding 200FPS. So it broke the sound barrier. It was moving fast!

    you need a Hema-stats you can get them at the bait store, Bass Pro, etc... it's a pliers, long and thin, that'll grab a bullet even out of real flesh with minimal damage

    I recently found something on TV called "Hollywood Weapons" its pretty neat, anyhow, they had said something along the lines of "the distance that a bullet will travel into a Gel block is about 2X what it will do in the body of an animal.... is this true??

    The only thing missing is the Velocity to compute actual Terminal yield. I've seen another I think it is called TEXAS AIR where they have a 45cal airgun that produces almost identical ballistics as the 45cal long Colt pistol. This is awesome, just think in the near future they could possibly make an Air Pistol that looks just like the 45 LONG COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER AIR PISTOL with the same ballistics as the actual Firearm. They are virtually there now. You could conceivably carry a air pistol for Self Defense or hunting. BOY, WE BETTER NOT LET THE LEFT SEE THIS OR THEY WILL WANT TO DEVELOP A NEW COMPLETE SET OF REGULATORY STATUTES AND CONTROLS. I LOVE IT NOW THESE ARE AWESOME. ITS EXCITING TO CONTEMPLATE WHAT IS JUST ON THE HORIZON.
