The Acolyte Episode 4 Predictions and Speculation

- Liam and Sanak give their predictions for what could happen in the upcoming fourth episode of The Acolyte. They discuss the need for the episode to focus on Kelnacca in the present day and fast-approaching Mae, the possibility that Vernestra Rwoh will have Sol, Yord, and Jecki regroup with more Jedi and debrief on the situation and explain more about Brendok, the need for Osha and Mae to both sit with the weight of seeing each other for the first time in 16 years, and if the dark sider/Sith makes an appearance and sets the course for a darker back half of the series.

Yeah, we figure it'll be at the end with the big Force push we've seen in trailers and tv spots. Seems like it'll happen right in front of Kelnacca's downed spaceship/hut!
Mae didn't do it. I dunno. The third episode confused me a bit because it was presented so unintuitively. Osha has a Force ability we have not seen in detail yet. I think it has something to do with the poor girl's notebook. She is afraid of something...?
Yeah, we've had some structural problems with the show (very similar to Ahsoka and Book of Boba Fett being 4-6 hour movies in parts), but the placement of the flashback itself wasn't bad. Just not that informative of the events from Osha's perspective compared to the premiere episodes' exposition. We will for sure see the Mae perspective, and we agree Mae getting riled up over the episode isn't simply from fighting with Osha. Could the dark sider already have been in play here? To be determined!
I think a Mae/Kelnacca fight, and Kelnacca dies this episode. I think Coruscant gets word of Kelnacca’s death while Sol is discussing the situation with Vern, and next episode the jedi send the search party to apprehend Mae but encounter Zipperface instead
Solid sequence of events there! Hopefully Kelnacca doesn't die immediately, we would like someone other than Sol to have some character fleshed out of the four Jedi from Brendok, but definitely agree that next episode will have to Jedi face the dark sider!
Long term prediction- mae dies inspiring “May the force be with you.” And assuming Rey movie gets made- “Star Wars: a new coven”
That would be pretty crazy if Mae is connected to Rey, but we don't think so. May the Force be with you is also said in The High Republic books set 100+ years before the show, so even in canon it's been used fairly widely before.
@@starwarslads whether Mae and Rey are connected is anybody’s guess. I just think if a Rey movie happens, it’ll be her rebuilding specifically the coven and not the Jedi order.
I actually didn’t know that about the high republic. Fair enough!
It would be interesting if she helped build back other Force cultures, but we think Rey is going to be focused on redefining the Jedi themselves is all. Appreciate your insight!

Season 1 episode 4
The Jedi is trying to crack down on Mae.
Kelnacca is on the planet Khofar in exile.
After the events in episode 3. When osha anc the gang get to Khofar. They release a rat like creature named Bazil. That can smell and is ¿ good tracker.
The Jedi refer Bazil this creature he / them / they pronouns.
The Jedi follow Bazil. Yord Fandar can talk to this creature bc he know its language. They use Bazil to fallow Mae. To get to Kelnacca.
Osha uses her force to seek a bad creature that hates Jedi. She kills the creature. Osha feels guilty she killed the creature.
The Jedi find Kelnacca's ship. Where he is hidden out. They see that Kelnacca is dead.
They are wondering who killed him. Then a mysterious figure comes out of the darkness.
Who we saw in episode 1. All the Jedi turn or their lightsabers.
Then mysterious being pushes all the Jedi down using the force. All the Jedi fall down.
Then the credits roll.
Would be very interesting if it played out like this, especially the details with Mae. A more traditional episode you think?
Hopefully this will be a normal episode where they get back to the story.
We really do think it'll be in the present-day storyline! If we get another flashback that Kelnacca tag at the end of the second episode makes much less sense.

@@done9137Why? I’m being serious. It’s time for those of us that grew up with the OG Star Wars to accept that Lucas Film is focusing on trying to hook out kids and grandchildren, kind f like they did us.
I’m grateful for Star Wars 1977-2012. It will always be with us. With that said, I’m not hating the Acolyte. It’s different, but I like that it is. I’m hoping we get a compelling Dark Side story out of this.
Star Wars is dead.
How are people who openly hate a franchise's source material put in charge of writing for that franchise? This is what killed Witcher, the Silmarillion, Marvel, and now it's killed Star Wars, just to name a few. As an author, I find this as a very big problem. Stealing someone's life's work and twisting it to fit your own agenda and make you money is a horrible thing to do. Not respecting source material shows a lack of integrity, and it's crazy that its become socially acceptable.
Star Wars is dead, and if you like it and are defending it at this point, then you are clearly nothing more than a mindless consumer sheep, and this problem keeps happening because of YOU.
Let's stop this culture war and get back to respecting source material, and valuing good escapism and immersive storytelling.

Imagine a Star Wars: Vector Prime movie. Imagine Disney embracing and employing these previous authors to expand even further.
They instead choose to erase all that work as cannon, re introduce it as 'legacy' and employ these liberal arts and interpretive dance majors to "revamp" an already beloved franchise.
These new fan boys can have it and enjoy their less than 1k views
@@HakunaYourTata We definitely loved having a clear cut direction in an ongoing publishing story (versus a lot of the concurrent writing of the Bantam era that led to Zahn having to retcon a lot of the movie characters' actions and choices in the Hand of Thrawn duology), which has definitely been a big influence on The High Republic initiative as well.
We'll probably get a reread of NJO up on the channel at some point, seeing as we've been lifelong Star Wars fans and you can see Liam's EU and Canon novel bookshelves in every video we make.
Every channel starts off small. We make Star Wars videos because we want to, anything more that comes out of it is a positive to us.

Sorry, we cover every Star Wars show. The shows don't need our credibility. Star Wars also keeps dying, we think it's the third time now since 1999 and 2017, right?

We all know how this pans out. The other side of the story shows a tense stand off with the Jedi and witches. The masked villan is one of the surviving moms. You will get a, "No, I am your mother." Type line. End season 1. Once you take off the "force is female" glasses, you can see the agenda. Destroying years of cannon and reclassifying it as legacy does not make you groundbreaking.
Wow, you seem to really know exactly how the story will go! Btw, the "Force is Female" is a Nike tagline and Kathleen happened to be at the event for the promotion of Nike Air Forces.
Also, the villain is highly likely not to be one of the mothers. Could one still be alive? Sure, but not sure she'd be interested in military artillery like cannons when she can use the Force.
@starwarslads yeah, no. There's a powder keg confrontation and the witches are slaughtered, all but a surviving birthing partner. We can revisit this THREAD (all pun intended) if you don't delete it.
On the contrary, it is kinda gutsy of Headland. She wasn't shy about what she intended to do and I applaud her for that.
If it is Mother Koril or whoever else, you can come to our video of that episode or comment here. We don't mind at all being wrong about a prediction, but we dispute your other claims as we have every right to on our own channel.
Is anyone watching this and actually enjoying it? I have loved Star Wars for as long as I can remember but to me this is unwatchable. The dialogue is awful, acting is stiff and costume design looks like a school project. For the first time I understand why it has a 14% audience score. Its awful
We're watching it and enjoying it, but we'd say it's pretty average right now. Hoping to make a better judgement of it by the time the show's over, but that 14% is clearly review bombed.

We're not a parody channel. We've been reviewing every Star Wars show since 2020 with Mando S2. If you don't like the show, then you don't have to engage with channels like ours. We simply do reviews and predictions weekly like we do for all Star Wars content. We have plenty of EU content too if you'd like to check that out!
