- Star Wars The Acolyte Reviews have shown Amandla Stenberg to have trouble carrying the show as the main character. Due to this and the reason Disney and Lucasfilm created The Acolyte in the first place with Leslye Headland, the audience weren't too keen on the show. Obviously the winning play after this is to attack them, as Disney has done previously. With Amandla Stenberg releasing a song while Star Wars The Acolyte is still mid season, will this help the reviews? Is the Acolyte worth watching?

Star Wars The Acolyte reviews told us everything we needed to know about the series, but surrounding that are various interviews going back years. Yet despite covering this, sometimes you don't know what topic to choose next, until an actress comes out with a diss track specifically designed to attack the fans of the IP she's representing. So you end up with a marketing strategy that is both trying to gaslight people who watched the show that what they were told wasn't real and it's in their head.
While the multimillionaire actress is trying to claim victimhood while being promoted just for tickboxes over talent. You then get another leak from a senior Disney exec that Disney actively persecutes the people Amandla Stenberg is attacking in her song. You couldn't write this if you tried. The only realistic part of the song is the chip on her soldier as she realises she doesn't deserve her position. But what did you think of what you saw? I grew up in South Central Los Angeles. I had to walk to school in rough neighborhoods. I grew up with an abusive single mom. I was bullied and often beat up by other black kids (not white people) at school. I got robbed at gun point. I actually LIVED most of the stuff she's LARPing. Hearing her talk about how she's a voice for underprivileged blacks while being from a place of privilege herself makes me INSANELY angry.

I was born at Cedar Sinai Medical Center and lived on Crenshaw, 91st, Van Ness, Arlington & MLK, Slauson, and Gage & Vermont (most recently) just to name a few places. Those are not particularly good neighborhoods. In fact, the two Inglewood locations (91st and Crenshaw) are particularly bad. So I'm not sure what part of my life you're trying to erase. I even lived through the entire multi decade construction that MTA was doing on Exposition for the Expo Line.

If the cut-off between good and bad is 2 stars, it could have 13 5-star reviews and 87 2-star reviews and get a 13% score. Or, it could have 87 half-star reviews and 13 2.5-star reviews and have the exact same 13% score.
