Bro, I do not know but when I was a PA student, there were talks about a conversion course for PAs so the possibility might still be floating about. On the matter of killing the role, the new NHS workforce plan suggests the contrary, however looking at the recent AA situation, nothing is set in stone. I agree on the shortage but not all PAs want to be doctors. What will their future look like if the role is killed?
