I love the full commitment to shooting all this footage outside. It really fits the technic aesthetic and makes it much more pleasant to watch when compared to a sterile studio environment.
@@Unbrickme The Unimog because the pneumatics works reliably not as in the chaotic Arocs mesh of spagetti hoses everywhere and hard to access when something goes wrong and also some of this pneumatics functions gets stuck easily.
Word of caution: lego pneumatic cylinders don't like water. They are lubed from the factory and water will displace that lube, which will eventually destroy the chrome plating of the actuator, which in turn can cause the cylinder to jam and/or will destroy the seals inside. I can send you some pictures of one of my destroyed 90s pneumatic cylinder if you want. 6:14 my heavy duty tow truck came with the pneumatic hoses in paper bag as well 6:53 pewgott
I had the Dodge Charger, motorized (Racing Brick). This year i also bought the Ducati (best for a 2/3 speed gearbox) and many cheap sets. Next, I'm gonna build the Airbus helicopter, the only recent set with an "offline" motor. I really hope that the new Audi Control + set will be the best compared to the buggy and the Top Gear car
LEGO made a missed opportunity to make a RC pneumatic set. I will try to buy the small blue motorized pneumatic pump and motorize this set with LEGO Mindstorms. Also, is the LEGO Technic John Deere skidder the same size as the LEGO Technic CLAAS XERION tractor from 2016?
Honestly, it just looks amazing! Now I am all display and no playing, but the posing ability of this set alone makes it great for me. I do not care if the seat is mechanised, or if it can be motorized, as I am display only, but I would like a stud to place a figure in the driver seat. One of the best Technic set for a long time? AND a rare farm set? I say yes! On the expensive side, yes, but we know Lego by now ;)

I appreciate the kind words!
My favourite set from this year! Incredibly nice the overall look of this set and also filled up with the best aspects the pneumatic functionality.
Agreed! What’s your favorite pneumatic set?

Yes, please send them. I guess LEGO changed the packaging of the heavy duty tow truck, since mine had its pneumatic hoses in a plastic bag
Just finished building this beauty and I love it!
Finished it yesterday, great video.
I'm in a big technic mood, this set is for me the perfect one available in this category.

Can you make a comparison with set 42054?
I hope there is an RC mod of this set.
I will do it!

I think they’re the same size. Or around the same. Definitely looks similar in scale
on my 42114 the turntable actually break so its good that the skidder fixed it
This moment took me by surprise XD 3:52
:)
best set of the year!! love your videos
Certainly the most playable!
I wish it was a timmberjack cable skidder instead of a grapple skidder.

Did I hear right? You like Battlebots? I love this tractor!
Yes I love battle bots!
I want this set and now I know about it thanks :)
3:55 i want that as a gif...
:)
Yes i know that it has been a year but it seems that one of my pistons is not on the crankshaft is it normal i will but a video on my channel
In the end i bought it before it goes EOL after watching your video.
Still think 180€ (with discount) are a lot for only 1400 pieces.
Yay... This set looks awesome. I'll be picking it up.
Nice!
Its not the first Technic set to use a paper bag for the pneumatic tube. The Heavy Duty Tow Truck from 2021 also comes with the tubes in a paper bag
LEGO changed the packaging for the heavy duty tow truck. It originally came with a plastic bag for the pneumatic hoses
@@Unbrickme Ah, figures. It was released in 2021 but I didn't get my hands on it until earlier this year
I've got the heavy duty tow truck and it never came with paper bags?
Nice model, it feels like this years 42148.
Im eager to see you motorize it and potentially put a motorized pump on it

tombstone battle bot builders will be happy with that frame lol
Will you be getting this set?
@@Unbrickme if its given to me for free or at >50% discount
Love to all people trapped in the submarine in the atlantic❤❤
My heart goes out to all of them
this happened?
@@CopeWithIt18Yeah, apparently a tourist submarine heading down to the Titanic Crash went missing a few days ago.
They've died
@@alexeecslmao
I really want it, it would go nice together with my John Deere tractor.
They’ll complement each other quite well
Good set with a good parts! We are waiting for Audi review :)
Nice video
Thanks
A proper cvt is not something that could easily be constructed with lego
No transmission in LEGO is “proper”
building process ❤ missing=!
Just watch racingbrick’s review
Puju?😭
Love your visa
I don’t have any visas for traveling
