'I was listening to a Man City match on the radio when a new flash came through to say John Lennon had been shot'.
Nope. Simply not true. City weren't playing that day/night that John Lennon was murdered.
John Lennon died December 8th 1980. Man City didn't play until December 13th 1980 when they drew two each with Stoke in Maine Road. Lou Macari and Joe Jordan scored City's goals.

Noel was parker from Thunderbirds and definitely maybe he shouldn't look back and say I drove all the way. He found a guitar behind the door and had a morning glory idea. after he became a star. Look its parker with his guitar. be here now parker has lost his car. Stand by me it's in the swimming pool with parker playing guitar. Thunderbirds are go but parker has written be here now let's go.

Agree for the most part. Did only recently realise that rock is still alive though. Just not on the radio. Do yourself a favour and get Spotify if you don't have it.

@@NTL578 that’s the whole point though man.
It was back on the mainstream, radio was actually an acceptable choice to listen to 😂
      Then suddenly nothing. 🤷‍♂️

@@alexalexalex797 Yeah, totally get what you're saying. I just deprived myself of any new music for years because I couldn't hear it on the radio. I think people are starting to get a bit bored of the mumble rap shit though.
