While watching this I'm no longer a 38 year old, I'm a 13 year old teenager listening to this cassette over and over again in my childhood bedroom. What an amazing time for music and the beginning of a carefree, happy time in my life that Oasis was the soundtrack of. The band and album that taught me about life, love and defined being cool. Magical memories. I hope other people are going through the same emotions that I am right now while watching this.

Are you American by any chance? You seem to be referring to the early 90's US grunge scene.
In the UK, the culture in the early 90's was totally different to the US.
Nirvana were popular with rock fans in the UK, but the overall mood in the UK music scene was fun and positive, as a result of the acid house and rave scene which exploded at the end of the 80's.
Noel was a part of that scene himself before Oasis. Even though Oasis didn't contain any obvious dance music influences, it crossed over into the mood of his songwriting.

Was 9 years old when that came out. My dad used to come home from work and he'll put on The Kinks, Tom Petty, Ian Hunter, The Who and the obvious bands. One day he came home, sat me on the couch, put me headphones on, put on What's The Story Morning Glory and life never was the same from that moment on. I demanded him to repeat Morning Glory dozens of times. Couldn't figure out who was Liam or Noel. He told me they where brothers which made it even more special. Christmas that year There And Then came out and we watched it on VHS on christmas eve. Never heard of live comcerts or seen one. So having my first proper headphone full album experience with WTSMG and my first live concert experience with this band. That gave me a lot of positivety and a bright outlook on life. Thank you dad. Must have been blessed. Greetings from germany.

Oasis have been with me through all of my life and I saw them at Wembley which was incredible. The song morning glory inspired me to learn the guitar and become a musician. It's scary to think where I would be if they weren't in my life. Lots of emotions there! Loving the solo stuff they are both doing too, maybe more Noel than Liam but only because he inspired me more growing up. 25 years. Jeepers. That is absurd. I remember I was obsessed with Oasis during those days. I wasn't old enough to see them or get involved with the culture at the time but I got completely hooked with the music because of my brother. This wall of melodic power pop really hit me like a ton of bricks but not old enough to even know why. Just an incredible sound. I taped Knebworth and I was only 9, I mean as if a 9 year old would be interested in stuff like that nowadays! We really live in a different world and especially with current affairs it kind of puts a perspective on life in a way. We just seem a million miles away from being able to attend concerts at the moment. Thinking about it now with the whole Beatles comparison, they really were a generations Beatles. A incredible phenomenon that within two years went from clubs to Knebworth. Genius!

I was 20years old in 1980, the 80's and 90's were the best of everything ever. It will not be repeated, ever. Fantastic, thanks for the Halifax reference Noel, where I live LOL.

It's the only album that comes to mind where you could put on any track from it and people could sing along.

Legends. Brilliant. Thank you for existing. If there’s one thing that time has proven, it’s that Oasis is aging like a fine wine. I love when I hear and see younger generations getting into the band. This is the band of my youth. During anything I went through in life, Oasis was always there.

I only listened to this album for the first time in October 2021, yet I feel like I've known it forever. Been listening to the songs everyday for 7 and a half months straight.

i turn 15 in like 2 weeks and this album is one of those ones that i imagine to be the soundtrack to my life, like every song have so many memories linked to, driving in the car when i was really little, showing my friends when i was older, ends of parties to wonderwall. mad how it’s so much older than me, but it’s stuck with me through every time period of my life so far

Oasis happened in my late teens and i was hooked. Id set my alarm on my stereo i had at the time. And i would wake up the Oasis every morning. And it set the mood for the day. Loved it. Liam and Noel both had there own singing style and i liked both.

That album is just on another level, it just hits you straight in the face as soon as the opening chords of Hello come in. 25 years later it still sounds amazing. I always imagine that maybe Acquiesce could've fitted perfectly in between Hey Now! and Some Might Say. But then again the Swamp Song instrumentals work within the album. Absolute hero of mine, an inspiration and Oasis were the last great rock 'n' roll band and one of my favourite bands of all time, so happy and lucky I got to see them live in 2008 at Sheffield Arena before they split.

The fact that Noel going back to a recording studio goes viral just shows how genuinely big Oasis were and still are and how mad the world would go if they reformed.

Imagine if when he walked into the studio, Liam and the rest of the band were there, all set up and ready to rock one last time. We can all dream I guess. But seriously though. Come on lads, sort your differences out for the millions of fans u still have, old and young.

Thats what the mgt shouldve done...got liam in there with guigs, bonehead and whitey...waiting for noel to show up....overwhelm him with nostalgia and emotional blackmail and voila oasis reunion.
However were this to happen i expect Noel to tell the rest of the band to do one....and then leave claiming all the glory for himself...which is something you can't hold against him as he did write the songs so a certain amount of arrogance is justified imo...
