Yes yes yes, Elisabeth Moss is great, but let me tell you that Yvonne Strahovski had to play one of the most complex, darkest, layered monsters in TV history and she did it beautifully and deserves so much more credit than what she usually gets.

Her performance is as good as Moss', she definitely deserves more credit. But she's a villain character, and sadly that's the way the cookie crumbles lol

I'd say she (YS) is the better actress. EM has pretty much done the same couple of tricks every season, YS has had to portray a wide range of emotions. She's by far the better actress IMO.

They acted tough when they were in charge and now that they are no longer in charge they are hiding behind God and their child and using both to beg for mercy of people they tortured. Get real.
Most people don't seem to understand that Heisenberg/Walter White turned into a cold, calculating monster by that stage and that he was a ruthless meth kingpin having people killed left and right if they somehow got in his way. The story was how a good, honest and loving man turned into a power-hungry monster in his quest to save his family and how the power corrupted him.
What in the flying f*ck is the message here?? "You took my child, now I'm going to take yours?" I'm fairly certain she hasn't turned into a power-hungry and ruthless "Heisenberg" who makes up his own rules and has people taken out of the way. In fact judging by the comments here it's nothing but petty revenge.

Nah.. what June did was far, far, far more psychologically damning. She took Serena's faith in G-d and turned into a gaslighted prophecy; reducing Serena to a fearful sinner and June as a Prophetess more fierce than both Deborah and Ya'el combined; driving it home that G-d has come to take your firstborn son as payment! And you're right.. June ain't done.. she just sharpened the knife. By telling Serena that it was G-d's plan to finally allow Serena to become pregnant only to kill the child in retribution is brilliant twisting of this "we're the children of the lord" bullshit. On some level, it was great.. but I couldn't help but think there were elements of Aunt Lydia in there.

The handmaids will last, there will be another generation (although the writers of the show and the books didn't say anything about how someone will become a handmaid in future), so they obviously can't make someone a handmaid just due to pre-gilead sins, but to all sins. If Serena ever come back to Gilead, she won't be wife anymore, because she betrayed Fred. I'm sure that Gilead knows what exactly led to Fred's arresting - it was naive Serena thinking that she would be safe thanks to playing the victim card. Then they arrested her too, because obviously she fucked over Fred so he did the same - so to Gilead it surely won't matter that she was also a 'prisoner' in Canada, because the whole situation was all her doing. She betrayed Fred which means she betrayed Gilead and as we know, Gilead shows no mercy to betrayers. If Fred and Serena really come back to Gilead at some point, I really doubt that Fred will protect her in any way so she won't escape her punishment for these crimes against Fred.
Also, they lost a lot of handmaids lately, so they can't waste any fertile women by sending them to colonies, which now includes Serena too. I think that for Gilead, Serena becoming a handmaid would be a perfect solution for her case.

This scene goes back to that moment in season 1 episode 3 when Serena got mad that June wasn’t pregnant and yelled at her in the same way June is doing now instead junes is true rage. Loved it!

The Handmaid’s Tale might just be the best acted drama I’ve ever seen.

Let's hope that what June said to Serena will come true! Miscarriages and babies who die at birth are not uncommon. Even if the baby will not die, someone is going to have to take Serena's baby away from her to where she will never have the privilege of becoming a mother.

She will NOT be becoming a mother in this show. They won’t give that to her no way.

She'll go to jail and her baby will be taken away then.

I don't hope that her baby die. Firstly because the baby has nothing to do with it, and even that would be too fucking easy on her

This scene right here. This scene is everything. It brought me LITERAL goosebumps all over my body. Oscar worthy in my opinion.

Brava! I love the reverse symbolism of June and Serena's clothes! How the tables have turned- the Queen kneels before the servant! That's so beautiful! Goddess power baby!
