The 1996 is so much better. Her life is so tragic but 1983/5 her 20 year old daughter was found dead after a week in river Avon. It’s obviously changed her interpretation and it’s BEAUTIFUL. Her voice definitely reached its amazing peak at age of 48+. Dame Shirley Bassey has so many European honours. I admire her immensely.

Wow. Great performer. My stepfather thought she was just great though I did not appreciate the music at the time. As an adult (an old one at that) I understand what he appreciated about her. Great voice and performance. Basically a theatrical performer.
