She performed at the UKs biggest festival Glastonbury a few years back. Was in the charts with a cover of Pinks Get the party started when she was 70. Also performed a Bond theme a couple of years ago at the Oscars. She's still going strong and still very much adored. Almost jealous of the fact that you have only just discovered her, you've got so much great music coming your way!

Those poor, tone-deaf souls that elected to give Ms. Bassey a thumbs down are merely a tribe of disjointed, disaffected trolls just looking to be contrary. It happens a lot on TH-cam. This marvelously talented performer could sing circles around many of today's so-called "divas". She had great pipes and certainly knew how to use them. Her singing gifts come around very rarely. I have wonderful female singers in my own family, and she has always been enthusiastically praised by each and everyone of them. Brava, Ms.Bassey. You are truly among a rare breed.
