I may wait until the model refresh. This doesn't have fog lights and other options that the Canadian one has, and it sells for cheaper up in Canada too. So, yes. The US version has less options/features for more money. I'm hoping that the model refresh will roll in those added items. That fuel economy sounds very good though!!

The Civic Si should never be overlooked~ Yes, you have the Honda Civic Type R which is a very sporty vehicle, but I feel like some people do not give the Si the credit it deserves. I've always loved Honda manual transmissions, I think their transmissions are the best in the business, and the Si is definitely no slouch. I just love the Civic lineup in general, and you can never go wrong with a Honda Civic. These things are bulletproof for years.

Mr Topher really didn’t sound happy for one second when ever driving the last SI, but many love it. I own the 9th gen, and it is plenty fast. Sheesh, my wife’s 2019 2 liter corolla is fast enough once the CVT catches up to your throttle input. It really depends what you want; the philosophy of what your vehicle needs to be. For many of us, our vehicle needs to be cheap or hold a child’s seat.

I had a 10th gen SI and factory rev hang was unbearable, I ended up trading it back to dealer. I've rode inside a tuned 10thgen since and can say it's more of an ECU emission thing than a flywheel problem. Not to say a single mass doesnt help.
