My dad was a re-enactor for both the civil and the 1812 wars as a cannoneer. His group regularly did re-enactments in Fort Erie and were actually allowed to camp on the grounds during events. He can confirm that it’s a very haunted location. Him and 4 of his group late one night watched a man in full uniform running down a corridor and straight through a wall. When they went over to check they found that there was evidence of a former entry way there.
