    Drop a comment on what you use, I'm always interested in trying something new. I think I'm going to give "Pig Spit" a try.

    I recently bought S100 to use on my scouts motor and I must say I was impressed. Made the motor look new again. Highly recommend

    I try my best to stay on top of keeping my ride clean and shiney. It just makes me feel good, when I look at her or riding down the road. I don't use anything out of the ordinary. For the wash I use a car wash soap that does not have any wax in it. Just soap made for automotive cleaning. Then I just use a spray detailer and wipe her down. Enjoyed watching your process, I will check out the Mcguire line up. I do believe your Bobber would pass inspection without a problem! Ride and stay safe down there in Austin! I saw where y'all are having a terrible time riding in Austin, all those crashes!

      Yeah, one of our brothers son was one of those accidents. Shame.

    After you use the compound put the wax on an efore you take the wax of spray some detail spray on the wax before you rub it of the tank an that will prevent any fine scratches been doing it for yrs my harley an truck are ceramic coated an thats how i do it

    Get Yuh bike up to spec yes, with these products. Then maintain with a non-abrasive wax. Maybe once a year in the spring use compound but don't forget if used too often you'll take Yuh clear coat off...not good!

    Does this work when motorcycle has non-shining painting? I have Honda Rebel 500 mate jeans blue metallic and would like to remove small scratches. Thanks a lot for the nice content :)

    What makes the detailer different than their wax products like the quick wax/paste wax

    Can I use the same products on the Exhaust pipes(matte black) and rear view mirror? (2020 Street Bob) thanks

    • @dadwithabike
      @dadwithabike  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is too abrasive for anything matte. There needs to be a top coat on it.

    • @dadwithabike
      @dadwithabike  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The shine yes but not the compound, it'll scuff plastics

    What abrasive do u use for deep cuts ?

    • @dadwithabike
      @dadwithabike  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can continue to use the rubbing compound I mentioned but instead use a hand-held buffer. You have to be careful thought, not to remove the top coat. If the cut is deep - only hope is touch-up paint :(

    Would this work on plastics?

    • @dadwithabike
      @dadwithabike  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it would be too harsh on plastic and would scratch.

  • @FlyinRyanProductions406

    Do you still end up with light swirls in the bright sunlight? I get all the scratches but I end up with some very light swirls at the end. Using exact same process as you.

    • @dadwithabike
      @dadwithabike  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Usually I can get the swirls out but it takes a bit and I have to make sure I apply the polish

      @@dadwithabike I think I’am finally making progress. I think I wasn’t working the polish long enough. I’m gonna hit few more spots tomorrow and think I will have it. 💪🏻👍🏻👍🏻 if I ever paint my bike it’s gonna be white. 😂😂😂😂

      I use the same polish with a black pad on a orbital buffer from harbor freight. Then I follow up with meguires black wax. It makes it gloss like a mirror. Gets all the scratches out. Eventually the paint gets fine swirl marks again regardless of how good you take care of it.
