    Hi Good day. I followed the process right and whenever I move the inner anchor points along the Z-axis, the mesh doesnt follow the anchor points. Can you help me on this one. THank you.

      Thanx for commenting , I know what`s happened to you ,you did`t place the anchor points on the vertex of the mesh, you have to turn on vertex-snap .

      Try placing the anchor points on top of the mesh`s vortex, and start with simple forms then manipulate the anchor points to get the shape that your aiming for, I hope I helped .

      Hello Stazi,
      You may get the 0.099 beta release version of Kangaroo here:
      www.food4rhino.com/app/kangaroo-physics
      Follow the read me pdf file and unblock the components first. Put all the User Object files, including springsfrommesh, into the corresponding folder in Grasshopper. Voila.
      Hope it helps.

    Hello, after applying all the procedures, the points don't move with the mesh- is there anyway to solve this? Thank you!

    • @mohamedadam3085
      @mohamedadam3085  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to place the points exactly on top if the mesh's vertices before pressing the reset button. Other wise it wont work.

    hello,
    first of all thank you for that video!!
    but I have a problem, when I used the simulator the points which weren't in the perimeter doesn´t become anchor points but when I move them to the perimeter of the mesh they become anchor points!
    What could I be doing wrong?
    thanks again.

    • @mohamedadam3085
      @mohamedadam3085  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should place the anchor point on top of the vertex of the mesh when you run the simulator ,if not you will get an ''error message'', .Then you can move them the way you like , but after that don`t reset the simulator before you bake out the mesh. (every time you run or reset the simulator the anchor point have to be on top of the vertex).
      I hope the helped .

    • @mrbarrron
      @mrbarrron 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      My mesh only obey the anchor points that in the initial position were in the perimeter of the mesh, and when I move the perimeter points trough the mesh they still remain the perimeter points no matter were they are!
      Thank you for all Moha!

    But I have a problem..
    I've done all of this but i can't move my points, they show as a red 'x'-es..
    I'm new with grasshopper so I don't know how all of this works and I can't find a solution.. :(
    Please help, thanks in advance!

    • @mohamedadam3085
      @mohamedadam3085  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can't move you're anchor points because you set them in grasshopper, In the example I placed my anchor points with point command in rhino rhen I referenced them in grasshopper.
      P.S, you must place the point on top of the mesh vertex.

      When you download Kangaroo v 0.99, the SpringsfromMesh tool is located under the "User Objects" folder. To add the tool open grasshopper, go to "file" -> "special folders" -> "user object folder," and place kangaroo's user objects into that window.

      "I tend not to use the springsfrommesh tool because it is just a clustered version of the springsfromline tool, with some of the control parameters hidden within. If you do absolutely want the springsfrommesh tool, you will also need to grab the files in the 'userobjects' directory that comes with your download of kangaroo and drop them into grasshopper's userobjects directory.
      Kangaroo 2 does not have a comparative clustered object, but as I said above, the springsfrommesh is essentially the same as (in the case of Kangaroo 2) the length(line) tool, you just need to deconstruct the mesh into a collection of edges - which is done through either the mesh edges tool, or if you have weaverbird installed - wbedges." - Daniel Christev

    • @GEORGE.M.M
      @GEORGE.M.M 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jay did you get it to work? just drag and drop the user objects into your gh, like your opening a gh script. The springfrommesh is not an independent node but a cluster
