Once you go OLED, there’s just no going back to a translucent display. I’ve been absolutely LOVING the 240hz LG OLED monitor. But I would recommend the 55inch S95B as you can achieve Native 4K @144hz
@@T1taanGMG a channel called HDTVTEST was able to achieve 144hz on the S95B. Although there are some games that won’t work so keep that in mind before buying
My 8k Sony ZH8 is LED but have near OLED black levels and stunning, bright picture quality. And I don't fear any burn in on my long playthroughs. So I think that's the "perfect" display for any console. Also the TV is 75 inch big, i lay on my sofa and enjoy the experience. Why you even mention the 240hz of the display? You would never experience most of this fps potential even on PC. Are you flexing or something?
I have had one for a couple of months and absolutely love it. My main usage is CADCAM. I love being able to view inputs from 2 computers at the same time. Only 1 other 48" oled can do this. Some things I would change are: The RS screen protection not only shuts of the screen, but also the sound. So you can't listen to music or anything for the 10 minutes it is down. The timing of the RS is odd. It does not take into consideration power off time. So, if you turn the monitor on in the morning, it might ask you 2 minutes afterward to do the RS. The timer should reset after power on. For some reason, this does not like to come back on after windows screen savers or monitor sleep times are active. It will not see when you come back and hit your keyboard or mouse. Sometimes, you LITERALLY have to reboot your system in order for it to know there is something running on a video input. This can be a major headache. For this reason I turn of sleep and screen saver modes in windows. This might be a windows 10 issue? With the stand, the monitor stands 2-1/4" above your desk. This makes viewing items at the top of the screen a neck strain. Ceiling and monitor lights can be bothersome. It would be better to have a stand with outriggers on the left/right sides instead of a stand that sits under the monitor. This would allow you to drop the monitor 2" to be more towards the center of your height vision.
@@noself7889 The RS feature might be a drawback. It wants to shut down for 10 minutes after a few hours. However, that can easily be postponed. Your main concern would be screen burn-in on an OLED. Stagnant, bright images will burn into the screen. Hence, the RS feature. The text is great. No issues. In CADCAM we work with very thing lines, texts and other features. This has picture in picture and picture by picture for viewing 2 computers side by side. There are other screen splitting features, which I have not used. So, I cannot comment on those. There are, however, 3rd party apps that can do this. If you have an nVidia, quadro video card, it comes with a screen segmenting feature. Another is Windows Power Tools to do this. I have not used Power tools. I hope this helps.
@@noself7889 For LCD I would definitely go with LG. This is the first monitor I have bought in many years that was not LG. If the LG oled had the PIP/PBP feature I wanted, I would have bought that. I have always been happy with LG.
Amazing how big these monitors are getting. I remember when a BenQ 19 inch monitor was big! 😂😂 This monitor will take your PS5 gaming to the next level. Great view as always my friend. Big like 48 and congrats on reaching 300K subs
Good luck with image retention showing up in 3 months. I used to love OLED for gaming, but after my LG suffered severe image retention issues, I swore I would never use OLED for gaming .. use it only for what it's intended for: MOVIES!

"BENQ 48" i really love how it included all the vesa bolts & spacers . i love the 2 speakers & subwoofer built in , i dont like the price 3k aud is way to much , it should have at least been 144hz or higher for display port to pc gaming , i think u can get a bigger & better value if u brought a tv over this for thousands less in cost , i would like to see this compared side by side to a entry level 4k monitor thats a quarter of the cost .
Hi. Could somebody please help me? I'm thinking about buying this gaming monitor while it's on special. Question 1) Can I use my PlayStation 3 to watch movies on it? Question 2) Can I hook up a Nintendo Switch? Is there any difference in picture quality? Question 3) Would operating a wired keyboard and mouse while sitting 3 metres from the screen be an ideal viewing distance to read game subtitles, reading emails and surfing the net via my Lenovo Legion Pro 7i gaming laptop? I want to buy an OLED monitor that does all three: Gaming, movies and surfing the net all while reducing the melatonin-destroying blue light. I don't want to buy a Smart spying TV with genotoxic Wi-Fi. I'm hoping that a gaming monitor is my safest bet all while being able to enjoy watching movies, playing games and surfing the net. I wonder if this is the right monitor for me. Thank you.
To expensive, i am to scared to get a oled burn in by using it in Games like World of Warcraft or Civ6 - or just windows. Also i must say the colors looked way better on the LG. If they would give a 5years warranty about burnins, i would buy it. But unfortunately not. But i like the Speakers.
Lg has Mac support for updates where 90% of other monitors you have to have a PC to update it. Samsung is the only other company I've found that doesn't require a PC because they update over wifi. Hope this helps anyone else. I like having disc for my games so I'd never own a PC for games.
