Oh my goodness! I am a MoM and my marine bought me a shed for my sewing. Ever so often he calls me on how to sew a patch or how to sew rips on his pants. He also knows how to irion. one time when they notified them of inspection in morning he and several of his buddies had not taken their uniforms to cleaners so he irion his uniform and when his buddies found out he could irion they paid him to irion their uniforms. He called me and was great full that I had thought him to irion. Any way I am trying to encourage him to start quilting. When I found your video I was so excited so I shared you with my son. He is overseas right now coming home next month but I won’t be able to see him when he comes back he will have to quarantine and if he travels to see us he will have to quarantine when he gets back to base and it will come out of his time. Any ways so great full for your service and your channel. God is good. Take care and God bless you and your family. Keep on quilting.

I’m taking a one day quilt class learning how to make this block, so of course, I’ve been bing watching all of your videos on this block. I feel much more confident to attempt this now, thanks so much!

After watching your interview with Karen Brown where you mentioned your love of the new York beauty block your tips have been great! I've sewn 4 of 40 for queen size I want to make it all helps. 👍💕🇨🇦 The numbers you mentioned 2 and 1 is called the stitch length. The stitch length is how many stitches your machine will stitches in an inch. Lol Hope this helps.

Very helpful! I saw a paper piecing video where they stitched on the paper before stitching fabric to make paper removal easier. Memory tells me they were using copy paper? What do you think?

Good evening, I am wondering how do you quilt those amazing quilts that you make ? Do you use a sit down machine or a long arm ?

I have not been able to get into my sewing craft room for a week! I am feeling the stress build, but the Special Education paperwork has to get done and the lessons for the week need to be finished. I should be able to do some crafting by 3 pm today If I keep my pace going on the paperwork!
