Nothing is ever permanently struck down in our legal system. Even if a ban is ruled unconstitutional, legislators simply ignore the ruling.

Magazine ban in Washington State was ruled unconstitutional for 90 minutes until some court clerk overruled it.
It wasn't a court, per se, it was a commissioner in the 5th circuit (I believe that was the agency), and not an actual judge, that issued an opinion that steamrolled the ban.

Rarely, if ever does, the government acknowledge making a mistake. There are rules that apply to government and rules that apply to everyone else. We can hope that the government position will be dismissed, but that would be foolish. If the situation were reversed and the victims of this law were one second late with a piece of paper, their case would be dismissed immediately and automatically with sanctions. The Court Administrator office is part of the government and expect them to cooperate enable and facilitate the government.
we are told all the time "get it in writing, or it didn't happen." this should be doubly true for the state.
A perfect opportunity to find out if courts are acting on law and process, or they will give the State wiggle room that would not be offered to the plaintive.
I wish the state of CA miss deadlines for their appeals.
They have appeals drawn up ready to file, even before the decision is made. Our politicians real suck.

Well, measure 114 was never enforced. Not even for a day. So, so far so good.
Measure 114 was struck down from Judge Rachio. Oregon Supreme Court has also denied review twice now. This case is decided based on Oregon State Constitution not the Second amendment
State Constitutions also have Bill of Rights in them....
The Constitution over rides state BS.
If something is decided based upon the state constitution rather than the federal one, its effect is restricted to that state. That state having a bill of rights doesn’t make it equate to a federal constitutionality ruling

Somebody in our office called the court and that person at the courthouse said we had to do nothiung. BULLSNOT. Who did they talk to at the courthouse ? Get the phone records and if their lying, the person who lied needs to be fired with loss of all benifits.
The Constitution should not vary from state to state. And We The People should not wait for permission to exercise our 2nd Amendment right. Furthermore, any ruling in regards to our constitutional rights should be done by the SCOTUS and become the law of the land.
Bruen is the law of the land. The lower courts just ignore it. Like Biden does with student loans. The democrats do whatever they want.
*Oregon didn't "forget" to file their appeal; they were told not to. Because here's what would have happened had they filed it:*
*The liberal justices of the appeals court would have overturned the lower court's injunction, allowing Measure 114 to remain in effect. The plaintiff (the pro-2A litigants in this case) would have then appealed to the Oregon State Supreme Court. The appeal would likely have been denied by a liberal state Supreme Court.*
*Plaintiff would have then appealed the case to the United States Supreme Court where it's very likely the justices would rule in **_FAVOR_** of the plaintiff. The catch is it would not only have struck down Oregon's Measure 114, but **_ALL_** magazine bans nationwide. The puppet masters behind the scenes don't want that; so they told Oregon to intentionally **_MISS_** the appeal deadline so the injunction remains local to Oregon state only.*
*They're willing to accept a loss in Oregon to avoid a bigger loss nationwide.*

but it only applies to oregon. had they filed and lost, it would have been appealed to a federal district court which would make it a federal case. losing there would make it a national injunction. the higher powers have several more states to get to bat to keep trying these bans. that means GOA and all the other pro 2A litigants will drain their coffers trying to fight against the bottomless pockets of corrupt governments using *your own money* to take your rights.

It would be better if SCOTUS heard and ruled on this case creating a precedent that’ll last forever.
The appeals court will give the state another chance or 3 to get it filed.

So how will this case effect me here in NY. So unless somehow this ends up in the Supreme Court I won’t be seeing any “relief” from a magazine ban overturned especially when Bruen came about the witch who’s my governor here in NY basically threw together a bunch of new gun laws I can already see a new law saying that any high capacity magazine will require me to pay a excise tax to own them.

The states and local governments explicitly do not have the right or jurisdiction to enforce anything having to do with weapons or the use or carry of weapons. That all falls under federal jurisdiction because that is a federally enumerated right and federal law. Allowing state and local governments to change and modify our rights and forcing citizens to assert their rights in court costing 10's or 100's of thousands of dollars, jail time or even costing their lives to do so is not legal. It is criminal. In order for the Constitution to be law and for the bill of rights to be law, they must be congruent on every square inch of US owned territory. PERIOD.
Using the so called "historical tradition" as mentioned in Bruen, the states have all the say because the feds had no gun laws at all until 1938

As an Oregon resident I'm not at all surprised that they missed the deadline nor am I surprised by the febal excuse. However, given the politics in this state, I expect the appeals court to give the state a pass and not throw out the case like they should.

A fine example of "rules for thee, but not for me." Had the 2A side of the case missed a cut off date the anti-gun driven State would have had the case tossed in minutes, if not seconds after that cut off was missed.
Update: the Court of Appeals rejected the motion to dismiss. The grounds were the updated transcript, which the AG said was necessary to file the brief, was released a few days before the deadline the State had from the court to file. The appeal is moving forward, next up is for the plaintiffs (our side) to file by around the end of July.
