I met a fired town clerk from a snooty Maine coast town at a cookout once . She bragged about all the ccw permits she denied before they eventually fired her . People with all the paperwork and police signatures etc, she didn’t think they were morally capable of being trusted with this privilege. When I pointed out how unlawful and unethical she had been. She went into being friends with the Roosevelts and other elite name dropping . She got very upset when I pointed out the Roosevelts had been foundational in pushing white supremacy eugenics, empowering hitlers rhetoric and more. These are the people who want to infringe what shall not be infringed.

We had a judge in NY who actually said that the 2nd Amendment don't exist in her courtroom. I finally got my CC permit in a NYC suburban county and I still don't know where I can carry without being charged with a felony. Parts of the CCIA was struck down by a federal judge but there is ALLOT OF AMBIGUITY regarding where I can carry. ALSO, I cannot carry through NYC so I have to take my gun out of my holster, put the gun and ammo in separate locked boxes in two separate locations in my vehicle, drive through one of the boroughs to get to other upstate counties. WTH! Now our totalitarian governor wants to ban all semi-automatic firearms. When will SCOTUS help us! Another ludicrous policy is if someone breaks into my home at night and I shoot them, all my firearms will be confiscated, license suspended and I will get arrested. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

That is asinine. In texas, we have no real restrictions. Zip guns are the only illegal gun that's not restricted by federal law. Even if I'm on any school property, I can have a loaded gun in my front seat if it's not in plain view. I could have a gun and throw a piece of paper over it and lock the doors and park at an elementary school. A few years ago, a bunch of laws were done were done away with and I firmly believe it's bc of money. There's no way a jury would find anyone guilty of driving with a gun not unloaded and not locked in separate secure locations. Why waste the money on trials when the jury is going to nullify it? Maybe that's the way to be successful? I don't know. Maybe the legislators and judges see the light, but jury nullification is probably going to be the only way. Remember, it would only take one of the jury to nullify. They would stop wasting the money on trials if that happened consistently.

As John Addams said, for our experiment to succeed we must have men of virtue in government (or words to that effect).

We need to pay more attention to the lower courts and local elections. That is where the biggest influence has been felt because many of those people move up into higher and broader positions. Look at how much money Soros and other WEF lackeys have dumped into the elections of local Judges, Prosecutors, and other officials.

The states and local governments explicitly do not have the right or jurisdiction to enforce anything having to do with weapons or the use or carry of weapons. That all falls under federal jurisdiction because that is a federally enumerated right and federal law. Allowing state and local governments to change and modify our rights and forcing citizens to assert their rights in court costing 10's or 100's of thousands of dollars, jail time or even costing their lives to do so is not legal. It is criminal. In order for the Constitution to be law and for the bill of rights to be law, they must be congruent on every square inch of US owned territory. PERIOD.

@@curly__3 Yes many places do infringe on this right. But it is also important to understand why states can not infringe on the right to bear arms. It is the same reason Texas can not establish a state religion even though the first amendment has nothing to do with Texas being able to establish a religion. It says the federal government can not pass a law respecting the establishment of religion. So Texas can obviously. Well no and that would be because of another amendment added later. And that same amendment is also the reason California can not infringe on the right to bear arms.

Way too often they do that.... And then get ignited up in court for years..... Meanwhile citizens are suffering under loss of their constitutional rights until (if) a court eventually strikes down the bad law.
But those who make the bad laws, support them and keep them in place never suffer any negative consequences for their bad actions..... There should ALWAYS be consequences for illegal actions.

NICS, of course, isn't necessarily constitutional, but it is actually where i understand the supreme Court is sitting on this after Bruen.
