    A busy time, Chris !! Congratulations, top reviews !!! My first impression about the new Xiaomi 11T series was of ... reheated food ... A plus here, a minus beyond and so it turned out, in the end, a surprisingly good phone, especially after what I saw now. The truth is that Xiaomi has to made wonders in their software to compensate the lack of optical stabilization for the main sensor. Then the ultra-wide sensor of only 8 Mpx ... they used 13 Mpx sensors on other phones ... Surprisingly, even in these conditions, the phone manages to deliver quality results. What caught my attention is the new type of battery, with graphene and the new battery charging protocol, different from what exists today. And another novelty for Xiaomi: 2 years of system update and 4 years of security update. This is the first time I have seen this officially stated. Finally, congratulations and a big LIKE!

    Hi,
    Thank you for the review. As usual you have provided a well presented and in depth review. Your coverage here is first rate and gives a fair refection of the strengths and weaknesses of the phone.
    On to the phone. It's going to come down to price. It's a very good phone, the important bits are all there; screen, charging, file system, performance, and even some decent cameras. The cons are relatively few; wireless charging, water proofing, and OIS are standouts.
    Am I tempted? Probably not. It would have to be at a ridiculous price before I dipped into my savings. Is it a worthy contender? Absolutely.
    Take care, keep safe

    Chris, I beg you, please check whether the proximity sensor is causing any such issues like it does on Redmi Note 10 Pro and Mi 10 T Pro. Apparently, Xiaomi decided to ditch the manufacturer of the proximity sensor they have been using on their mid-rangers as of late. Hoping they did with this one. As always, you rock!

    Received my 11T Pro today 🤩
    Not too much bloat ware. What is there can be removed with a couple of clicks.
    Updated to MIUI 13 i.e. Android 12!! 😍
    Phone then went straight into its Ringke Fusion X camo case 😎
    Display isn't as bright as me ole OnePlus 7T...!!??
    Which is strange, as the 7T - according to the interwebs runs at 525 nits... Whilst the interwebs say the 11T Pro goes up to 800 nits (user set brightness).
    The 7T is definitely way brighter, when viewed side by side with the 11T Pro.
    Haptics are insane on this phone!!
    Haven't played with the camera too much yet. But, it'll be fine as I'm not much of a camera buff.
    Audio is great!! Noticable improvement over my 1+ 7T.
    I prefer bigger phones as I have big hands... 11T Pro is only sightly bigger than my 1+ 7T.
    Themes are kewl 🤘 Changed that up asap.
    Coming around quickly to the MIUI take on Quick Settings/Notification Shade.
    Most things seem pretty intuitive so far with the UI.
    Won't take long to get use to 11T Pro being my daily driver 👍
    PS - I like the, in button finger print reader... Works a treat 👌

      @kingrat738 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@colinwright1637 in NZ the 11T Pro only comes with a reduced capacity charger i.e. not the full 120W... So, my battery is as good as the day I bought it.
      Think it's a 35W boost charging brick.
      Still gets me fully charged, reasonably quick.
      Did some testing earlier on + trying to find a more powerful brick, but can't remember the exact time to a full charge.
      Likely around the 35-40min mark.
      They do sell 65w boost here, but I'm happy enough w/ what I've got.

    Hi Chris. You know that the number one thing that destroys battery life?...it's heating during recharging. Does it get hot? I think it would be best to use fast charging only when you need to and do daily overnight charging with a low power charger.
    Also recharge if possible before 50% discharged to lower the heat generated.

    Would love to see a quick comparison with the 10T Pro, an "Is It Worth The Upgrade" type video (assuming you've still got the older model). I literally just bought my 10T Pro last month for 350GBP (brand new from Three, unlocked) and am glad I did now that I've seen this review. It almost looks like they've *removed* some features in this new model like OIS in the main camera, lower screen refresh rate for the sake of faster charging, which is already relatively fast on the 10T Pro anyway!

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    • @yatharthsingh5349
      @yatharthsingh5349 2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I don’t really think it’s worth the update.
      Camera is more of a downgrade (HMX > HM2, this phone has no OIS, Ultrawide is a downgrade).
      SD888 over SD865 isn’t one, either. Also, SD888 overheats hard, and they even underclocked it in this one.
      The AMOLED and the longer updates are pretty much the only considerable upgrades. The speakers and the slightly lighter and slimmer factor are slight upgrades.
      But the Mi 10T Pro has a good enough LCD and it’d be better if you upgrade to some other device after a few years rather than upgrading to 11T Pro (a bit too expensive, actually).

  • @thaddeus2447
    @thaddeus2447 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Thank You for your review. I was really hyped, howver i am kinda disappointed. Its just too expensive.... 650eur for MI11T pro is too much... my MI9T PRO two years ago cost me 330eur new for MI9T pro 8gb ram variant. MI10T pro cost up to 500eur for max configuartion, and now 650eur. If datasheet is correct main camera sensor is same like on my redmi note 10 pro 128gb model which i got day one for 207eur, only visible difference compared here is that MI11T pro has 888 cpu which is still too hot and will throttle to the speeds of my redmi note 10 pro. And charging speeds, yeah it's impressive. But common 650eur... Terrible value, wanted to upgrade, but i won't see any difference. Redmi note 10 Pro has flagship level screen for 200eur, it has best mid range camera and great battery life and doesnt overheat or throttle. So far it's only xiaomi device worth money.

    Regarding the ads, it wasn't quite a fair assessment. On Xiaomi 11T Pro you got the Global EEA ROM, while on Redmi 10 you had 12.5.4 which is definitely the normal Global ROM (latest Global EEA ROM for that device is 12.5.1). Point is, the ads thing might not be a price thing, but a regional customization thing, since Global EEA ROMs are "cleaner" when it comes to tracking/analytics collection and ads, along with other restrictions put in to conform with European regulations.

    F me, missed out on cashback of 150€ on this thing because the date of end promotion was described wrongly, should have ended 31st October but it was still going on the 3rd of November when I checked, regularisation date was till 15th of November so I thought it would go until then, turned out it stopped at 3rd cuz the site didn't remove it correctly. Great vid either way though

    dang im waiting for this phone and planning to upgrade on it but got dissapointed, im expecting this 11t pro to be cheaper than Mi 11($664 on
    my region right now)(8/256) but nope it's more pricey $766 and thats only the 8/128 variant the only adv. i see on this phone is the 120w charging
    while the mi 11 has 55w charging but it also has 50w wireless charging also better screen design in my opinion also glass back, lighter weight. guess
    i already decided what to buy.
