I love your videos !! We are in a lockdown at the moment here in Sydney, Australia but I can’t wait to get out there and use the knowledge I have learnt from the videos on your channel. Within a week I had picked up so much, 3 weeks ago I had no idea what ND and CPL filters were so I bought some, I bought a wireless mic option and BAM, instant level up on the footage.

Hi Simon, Salute from Colombia, I want to start to film some videos for social media and I wonder if this is a good option due to my short budget, I found your channel looking for an honest review but now I have another question, should I buy it and learn how to use the pro mode? or Should I keep saving money and maybe buy an Iphone? I see that the problem is the autofocus that you mention is solve in the pro mode but I have no experience filiming nothing before, What I want to do is to show stories about people in a pro mode and also to have a good phone to work and have fun in my free time, I would appreciate very much if you or any of the subscribers can help me with this.

What is the settings of 24fps video in pro mode using also log.? I used Xiaomi 11t for filming Short films thank u
Xiaomi Log profile is more like natural color in my Poco F3 but in some situations it reduces contrast and saturation quite a bit but not consistent
I used to edit photos from cheaper 13mp camera phone with the help of Hedgecam2 and Snapseed apps that I installed and most of my edits are similar to the quality of photos from Mi 11T. And I'm pretty sure the 11T really suits with my likings.

Could you please try the Xiaomi 11T pro as the Qualcomm 888 processing power in it is much stronger than the mediatek Dimensity 1200 that you tried In Xiaomi 11T and thank you very much for this professional video ❤️
Excellent work as always Simon :) wonder how Filmic Pro would work with these cameras? Also did you see the apple event yesterday? Wha did you think of the iPhone 13 cameras? As for these cameras, on their own, they kinda look like poo… 😬 I appreciate what they’re trying to do, I just don’t think it works too well
I tried Filmic but I think they need time to fix glitches as the device has only just been announced. iPhone 13 looks great, but I hope they have worked in the dynamic tone mapping. Looking forward to trying one out
@@SiHorrocks in my Xiaomi I have good results with ProShot, because it allows more resolution and frame rates than Xiaomi camera. The front camera is only limited for 1080p, but with ProShot I can use 4k. ProShot allows me to use all cameras. There are sensors that cannot sustain a stable frame rate in 4k, keep an eye with that. There are other camera apps that can use all sensors and resolutions, but I like ProShot because the user interface.

How to color correct log footage?
I dont know why, but i just got a xiaomi 11t pro, a month ago and the camera seems to have ois.. Very smooth even with 4k 60frames.. No stutter or blur at all compared to what ive seen in other youtubers review... Plus i cant even find image stabilization mode in settings, is it possible they changed something with the phone?
About video quarity can it compare to mi11
an update for this would be nice. 11T pro now have 4k 60fps and 8k30fps

The camera is great for the value
The mi 11T pro now has 4k60fps
And 8k30fps with possible future firmware update allowing 60fps
It records 8 bit. So log is more or less a normal video with less contrast and saturation because if you push 8 bit too hard image would break.

One thing about Xiaomi log, the dynamic range is usually best when it's full auto, although there might be some noise

Bonjour j'ai un gros problème de stabilité dans les vidéos avec le Xiaomi 11 T, si vous tapotez avec votre doigt sur l'appareil pendant que vous filmez avec la caméra principale, vous verrez que l'image vibre et met du temps a se remettre, ce n'est pas le cas sur la caméra macro et la large angle.
Un ami a exactement le même problème avec le même téléphone, et vous ?

no. A phone needs to have HDR10+ for 10 bit video

Great video, trash phone. All this hype for that phone? I've been a Xiaomi user for a long time and been looking into mobile videography for last few months. All the features you described are presented in most Xiaomi phones for the last year.
Where's tele lens? Where's more fps in pro mode? Why can't I set focus and white balance manually in slow mo? Not sure I'm not missing anything but that's just a software issue?
its xiaomi man, nvr expect tele and better cam these day except mi ultra which i rather pick iphone or samsung s21 ultra for the design match my taste better
