      I don't think so, I tried run Geekbench 5 outside where was cca 2 Celsius temperature, and I had cca 3505 points in multi-core test and 1113 points in single-core test. But in the previous test from home (22 Celsius temperature) I had 3007 points in multi-core test and 804 points in single-core points. So is only one explanation and that is massive CPU throttling.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, yes you can try doing that without having to remove all the parts, but be careful since the flex cable is fragile, and you don't want to tear or damage it. If you need to pull the clicker portion with flex cable out of the socket to be able to push out the button, just do it carefully so you don't tear it since the other end is under the motherboard and would be held in place if you have not removed the board and peeled that portion off the frame as well.

    Hey man! Ive had my phone now for atleast 11 months and i was wondering about battery safety and charging safety. I have never had problems with the 120w charger but most of times the phone did overheat. Do you suggest a 55w or less charger would be worth the money? Also what should be the max battery temperature for the phone

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure what the max temp would be but usually slower chargers also help retain the battery life for longer. Faster chargers will wear out the battery life sooner.

    Hey bro great video. I cracked my Xiaomi 11T Pro screen today and the screen is black and won't turn on. I'm not experienced enough to repair myself so i'm going to head around some repair shops tomorrow and see what can be done. How much do you reckon it would be? And what do you think was damaged for me to not even see any light now? The crack really isn't that big either.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! The screens run anywhere from $150 to $180 USD from the looks of it, so depending on what they charge for labor and such on top. Usually these screens with even the slightest damage or crack will not function anymore. Sometimes even hairline cracks in the corner not visible prevent the screen from operating.

    I have had the 11T pro for a few months now. I absolutely love the phone esp the hyper charge capability. Cause of my negligence of discharging the phone to 0% and sometimes to 100% I'm worried about the battery degradation and that I will have to swap the battery sometime in the future.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Hi, i think its a solid and durable phone. Normal drops and bangs shouldnt cause parts to come loose but if its smashed against a wall or thrown heavily against the floor then there would be the possibility of broken internal parts or other damage. 😀

    Anyone who reads this, never use a metal pry tool especially when lifting up the PCB like that. Use plastic ones as much as you can to avoid damaging anything.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That is correct but when everything is grounded and the battery cable is disconnected, there shouldn't really be much to worry about.

    • @TheLemonyOrange
      @TheLemonyOrange 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PBKreviews yes of of course, you are correct, but I am also thinking more about physical damage. From 2:30 using a metal pry tool like that to lift a board can easily damage something if it resists lifting so easily like it does here.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TheLemonyOrange ya thats true, but sometimes when certain parts are in tightly, plastic pry tools are either too thick to get in the space or to fragile and break. But yep always best to use plastic when possible :)

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as the battery is disconnected, you should be fine. These phones aren't from 10 years ago, there is almost no risk aside from possible physical damage if you break something off. I have used metal tools on thousands of phones and never had any issues. The problem with plastic tools is sometimes on some connectors, its extremely difficult with plastic tools and you end up damaging the connector or cable itself. Especially with coaxial cables.

      Make sure the motherboard is seated properly and the top plastic cover over the motherboard is screwed in place correctly since it has antenna lines drawn over it. And make sure the coaxial cables/wire cables are connected and not damaged. The bluetooth/wifi module would be under one of the covered shields on the motherboard
