Nice phone from Xiaomi. They have so much good stuff going on lately, I really consider to swap my S10+ for one of their phones when the time is there to replace it.
I bought my Mi 10T for 17,990 (about $375?) and it's absolutely perfect. Mi 10T Pro is about P7,000 more expensive and the only real difference is the camera. I have absolutely no complaint with anything. This IPS LCD is absolutely great, it's not garbage at all.

The best in depth review so deep and also frankie tech made me decide to have this phone. I love you so much please continue to make these true in depth reviews. SO MUCH LOVE FROM THE PHILIPPINES!
I've been watching a ton of reviews lately and this one has to be the best. You are easy to listen to, you hit all of the important points and zero fluff. I was leaning towards a S21 plus or Xperia 1 ii but really can't justify the difference in price after hearing your impressions. Plus the size of that battery! Thank you and well done.
Well done on NO dual 5G standby .. Still confused by issue and I'm an advocate for 4G dual standby phones (2 voice 1 data). Your the only reviewer to even mention this so il be subscribing to your channel as of now.
Great review as always. Glad you're keeping your own quality standards no matter what. Imho main problems with Mi 10T Pro are size and weight. Personally have medium sized hands and it's not very comfortable to operate with, especially for a long period of time.
I like your reviews. You always speak honestly about pros and cons of phones unlike some other you tubers. I always check your review before buying any phone. Thanks and keep up the great work dude!
Hey Chris , I think this phone is brilliant , I got it with a free robotic vacuum cleaner so it was a good deal/value , I think it's impressive how good the zoom is even without a telephoto lens , 5x is decent I think and it's fun to play with 30x , another thing I couldn't believe when I saw it , they added night mode to the ultrawide camera ! Never seen that from xiaomi and also the reading mode with paper texture display is great for my eyes I feel like, battery life considering it's 144hz , 10/10 , as strange as it may sound , this is the phone of the year for me , good job xiaomi
It is even at 2x digital the crop on a 108MP sensor is very good. Even in video 2x looks completely usable. Agreed the reading mode is great on this and the battery life is nothing short of amazing for 144hz
Another excellent video Chris! Absolutely love the knowledge shown and going in depth on bit rate audio quality and speakers. I couldn't wait for this in the UK so I pulled the trigger on the Mi 10 Ultra. Many thanks.
Mi 10 ultra is a great choice. Only Chinese rom and no band 20 or 28 sadly. But such a solid set of cameras. Also now we can flash the Xiaomi EU ROM but I'm staying on the original rom for now for the updates straight from Xiaomi
Fantastic review. What is the reason for the occurrence of jutter? Is it a matter of stabilization, low frame rate, low write speed? sensor used by engineers? I must admit that nothing irritates me as much as jutter during panning. Which smartphone currently has the least jutter - or no jutter?
@@Techtablets I give my word that for the last two weeks I have been considering the oneplus 8t as a successor to the 7t, but after what I saw, after the opinions on forums and your comments, I think that I will be looking for something else. Maybe just indicated xiaomi.
Been using the Mi 10T Pro since December of 2020, and I gotta say, it help up pretty well! I was undecided between MI 10 T pro, samsung S20 FE & ONEplus 8T. MI 10T PRO has all the featured I wanted, but I was worried about the IPS LCD display. (I've been using super AMOLED display for the past 10 years.) Your review reassured me that the this IPS LCD is good. This helped me a lot. Going to get the MI 10T pro. Thank you very much.
Good on you for taking up another Xiaomi review after the hard time you went through recently with them. And, as always, you were fair in this review as well. I feel the display should definitely have amoled, but I believe you when you say it's a good ips panel. Seemed like a really solid phone otherwise. Side note: This phone got sent to a lot of reviewers by Xiaomi. Like big name YT reviewers, and odd thing: I don't think many (maybe any) of them mentioned it lacking an amoled display. Wonder why...lol. Anyways, cheers Chris, and thank you much for the review. Late is better than never for sure. Cheers!
Thanks oh we know why they didn't mention those cons. I really think it's a great phone but if it had a flat OLED 120hz it would have been almost perfect
Yeah they’re competitors, slightly different prices but we have to keep in mind Samsung is known to overprice their things just a little too much. I still think the FE is a massively good deal from Samsung though
The price difference between S20 FE and Mi 10T Pro is kinda crazy for SEA markets. For example, in Malaysia the Mi 10T Pro is about US$340 cheaper than the S20 FE, both 8/256.
@@notagain2856 here in the philippines, the Mi10T Pro costs 480 dollars and the S20 FE is around 700 dollars which is a scam since the FE here is the exynos variant.

Yes what a great review. It is a solid phone but without the amoled is a no from me. I know they've kept this out to put out a cheaper phone but I would of paid the full amount for it. The ultra was special but the software.. well say no more. .
Ips is not really a con. Some people prefer it over amoled panel due to the low frequency PWM modulating technology in oled screens which causes screen flicker can be itself a con for people who have sensitive eyes and causes eye fatigue
Probably the best LCD screen on any phone today, it really looks great 👌. Audio quality sounds awesome as well. The camera department the most improved, impressive. And to get 15h + on a 144hz display is mind-blowing 👌

I stopped using phones with Oled screens years ago. Hate that burnt in effect and never really got into the whole hype with the blacks being black and all. I'm looking at a screen, I do not want parts of it to stop existing in the middle of it operating. Pointless technology if you ask me. There are ways of saving battery.
oleds: - lose color accuracy (implying they had any in the first place) over time - have pwm flickering even with DC dimming on (and lose even more color accuracy with that), causing eye strain - have weird subpixel arrangement that for some people results in "unsharp/ghosty" text, - aren't actually good with high brightness because of battery drain and pixel degradation - depending on content, may provide unnaturally high contrast (those dEeP bLacKs) which could lead to eye strain - absolutely unsuitable for displaying static interfaces in long term, due to burn ins - cost higher as obvious pros of oleds, you can see AoD, compact size, ability to hide camera/fpr underneath working pixels, deep blacks (where its appropriate) At the moment, there's no technology that can replace ips without drawbacks, so people should stfu about couple phones having ips - there's a ton of oled phones available.
@@spx730 As an AMOLED user, i actually agree with you except for the "unsharp text",which isn't.And color inaccuracy,as the colors are pretty accurate. But i do agree with the uneven contrast because of pixels turning off and the eye strain part. Also it does drain the battery a lot on max brightness.Just because of eye strain alone, ill be switching back to IPS next time i buy a phone.

Got this phone after watching this review for £439 (€485) on black Friday with a free Mi Band 5. Very happy. Thank you for providing such in depth reviews.
Nice phone from Xiaomi. They have so much good stuff going on lately, I really consider to swap my S10+ for one of their phones when the time is there to replace it.
S10+ Is still great I Love mine and the S10+ cameras also come very close to this and video like 4k ultra wide it's still slightly better.
Not to forget the price difference.
Daaaammmmnnm. That camera is excellent. I really want this phone! I think it will be a great successor to my Poco F1
Wow what a coincidence that i found this comment cuz i can soooo relate to it.
1 week ago i lost my POCO F1 (armoured edition ) while travelling .😔😔😭😭
Soon after much research i ordered and received the mi 10t pro.
It definitely is an excellent upgrade and the best thing is it has the same user interface experience (miui) with more smart features and various other improvements.
If ur thinking about upgrading ur phone from the legendary poco f1 then stop thinking. Cuz u've just found the perfect phone to upgrade to. 😎
@@fatcat1840 My boss gave me an S9+, so for now I am good. But I really miss the MIUI interface a lot. I may still buy one. I wish you great fun with the Mi 10 Pro

Thanks for watching!
Well done on NO dual 5G standby .. Still confused by issue and I'm an advocate for 4G dual standby phones (2 voice 1 data). Your the only reviewer to even mention this so il be subscribing to your channel as of now.
Professionally done, subbed!
You are a very good reviewer. No unnecessary presentation found ! Very Classic.
Great review as always. Glad you're keeping your own quality standards no matter what. Imho main problems with Mi 10T Pro are size and weight. Personally have medium sized hands and it's not very comfortable to operate with, especially for a long period of time.
It is large and heavy but most phones are now. This a little more than some but you do get use to it
Bought mine 3 days ago, I'm loving it so far and took a big step from a samsung A8+
My mi 10t pro will hopefully be arriving tomorrow 😁

I was waiting for this for so long. Thank you 🙏🏼
My pleasure!
Despite being ips, the screen actually looking good.
Seen the rest but waited for the best impartial review.
👍 Thanks!
Excellent review as always, Chris. No one does it at the in-depth level quite like you!
Thanks for watching!
Great review Chris, and great that Xiaomi are listening to criticism! Thank you so much for your hard work.
Fantastic review. What is the reason for the occurrence of jutter? Is it a matter of stabilization, low frame rate, low write speed? sensor used by engineers? I must admit that nothing irritates me as much as jutter during panning. Which smartphone currently has the least jutter - or no jutter?
I think it's soft optimization the judder. But it's nothing as bad as the Oneplus 8T its terrible! Most phones do it
@@Techtablets I give my word that for the last two weeks I have been considering the oneplus 8t as a successor to the 7t, but after what I saw, after the opinions on forums and your comments, I think that I will be looking for something else. Maybe just indicated xiaomi.
Outstanding review Chris as always, congrats
Thanks for watching!
I find myself coming back to this review and it’s one of the best if not the best, Chris is just that guy who’s as honest as humanly possible
Hey thanks for watching!
The best. Not one of the best... 😊👍
Been using the Mi 10T Pro since December of 2020, and I gotta say, it help up pretty well! Performance and camera still impresses me up to this day, and have been happy in the 1+ years of use… never was disappointed and still can compete with the newer ones out there, especially that the newer flagships are pretty hot when it comes to thermals
Are you still using MI 10t pro?
@@ashfaqurrahmanfahim5211 yes, still as good as new
I'm going to order it tomorrow actually, wish me luck!
Good luck!!
Late but no one review this unit better than Chris. Cheers 🍻
Can't wait for Mi 11 because of variable zoom camera
Thanks. Yes Mi 11 I hope will ship with that zoom camera. Xiaomi only just teased it so I hope it makes it into the Mi 11.
Have been using MI 10t for more than 2 years. So far so good, I'm quite happy with it
This status led is a magic 😃. Samsung s20FE is a concurrent for this phone i think.
Samsung S20 fe has some ghosting touch so for gamers not good, yt it

s20 fe is better for the price and all the samsung futures the camera i would say xiamo 108 megapixel

Wow! I think this review has me sold on the 10T Pro. I am choosing between the OnePlus 8T and Xiaomi Mi 10T pro. Got me thinking on the cameras and the UI. I have been a OnePlus 3 user for 4 years now and thinking of upgrading...
Mi 10T Pro for the cameras, speed and battery life. 8T for the screen and oxygenOS

I was torn between this and the F2. Moving from mi 8. Think I'll hold out till 2021 offerings . Gcam 7.4 on the mi8 is just unbelievable and the performance is still good 🤷♂️.
Mi 8 was my dream phone in 2018 ✊
I am still on my Mi8 too and it's great.
The back glass is completely gone on my one, replaced it but cracked again. 3rd party glass wasn't as good. It's just held together with a case now.
@@LeBurkaTron I've always used a case. So mine is still in a good condition 😅
Do you have a link to the Gcam 7.4 which you are using?
I bought the non-pro version 8/128, (because I'm on a very tight budget) but I can say its still worth the price. Been using Mi10T for a week now. Just don't have the OIS for vids though, maybe I'll just try using a gimbal. Haha. 😂 Great vid! 🙏🏻
I forgot to mention that this is the best review I have ever seen! It is subjective, but you told me exactly what I needed to know, and omitted the things that aren't.
Also, I like that you did not seem to have prejudices against LCD displays, as some people hate IPS without even seeing it.
Me too, it's the best review I have ever seen. Greatly appreciated... Wonderful work. Thank you.
Great review. I have been watching tons of mi 10t pro reviews and can easily say yours have more usefull info
That's an absolutely beautiful place you stay in.
honest review and unbiased one .. u deserved my sub

OMG FINALLY a ips display flagship xiaomi phone
heh, LCD has become a deal breaker for me
Well you got it! Personally I would have preferred OLED but each has their pros and cons
Just amazing price/quality rate from Xiaomi. Thanks for tremendous work on this well-rounded video review!

which phone did you bought??
Probably the best LCD screen on any phone today, it really looks great 👌.
Audio quality sounds awesome as well.
The camera department the most improved, impressive.
And to get 15h + on a 144hz display is mind-blowing 👌
please is there any advertising in apps in this phone ?
No they don't seem to be in those systems apps now.

Even though this phone has been out a while, there are only few Content Creators that I follow whom have reviewed it. Even fewer who offer the kind of detailed reviews like you do. Phone looks really great on paper, but there are a few things that I feel they may have cut the wrong corner on. Most specifically, the LCD display.
Yes I just feel with a flat 120hz OLED it will have been such a rounded package for the price.
Love mine..... (And I've had the ultra.) my best screen on time so far is just over 10 hours.. Its an excellent device.. And a good price.. .. Just missing my favourite thing 😭...... The always on display! (obviously can't have it due to the screen) great review 👌
Glad you like it. Yes no always on display sadly. I also miss that
First time watcher of your channel and I have to say, best phone review I've seen on TH-cam by far 👍 Liked, Sub'd and Notifications on keep up the outstanding work.
Chris is wrong IPS is best for long term. OLED burn in bro!!!
All personal preference! Each have their pros and cons.
@Evilz Review i called the whole category oled. I heard that LG had more issues with their panels than Samsung.
oleds:
- lose color accuracy (implying they had any in the first place) over time
- have pwm flickering even with DC dimming on (and lose even more color accuracy with that), causing eye strain
- have weird subpixel arrangement that for some people results in "unsharp/ghosty" text,
- aren't actually good with high brightness because of battery drain and pixel degradation
- depending on content, may provide unnaturally high contrast (those dEeP bLacKs) which could lead to eye strain
- absolutely unsuitable for displaying static interfaces in long term, due to burn ins
- cost higher
as obvious pros of oleds, you can see AoD, compact size, ability to hide camera/fpr underneath working pixels, deep blacks (where its appropriate)
At the moment, there's no technology that can replace ips without drawbacks, so people should stfu about couple phones having ips - there's a ton of oled phones available.

Hello, in my country only Mi 10T 128gb is available. So how does the Cameras compared to Mi 10T vs Mi 10T Pro in video department?
For me low light Video matters a lot, reason is my 2 year old son tries to talk a lot before sleeping at night when lights are off. So low light on Mi 10T will help in capturing these memories for future viewing, No matter if its 1080p or 4k but low light is more important to me than resolution of video or photo 👍
My other available option is Poco X3 NFC.

But I saw display reviews saying that this is better than many OLED displays
It maybe very close if you ignore the edges being a little dimmer
