    If only Iran were still like this today. The Shah wasn't really all that bad. He was just trying to protect Iran and its monarchy.

    They brought such culture and progress to Iran. The overthrow of 1979 set them back 1000 years.

    and now poeple in iran are struggling to live because prices are 10 times higher than any country this is what happen when people betraying their honest and compassionate king and queen😭

    I remember the Shah's crowning as a 7 year old. As an avid stamp collector, I still have the original First day cover with the Stamps issued to commemorate the day by the Post Office in Pakistan. A rare collectors item.

    In 1968 the National Geographic magazine had two articles collectively titled "Coronations a World Apart" One was about the Shah, and the other was about the coronation of the King of Tonga, in the South Pacific. One a big flashy ceremony, the other smaller and I think happier. One monarachy is still there. The glory or wordly splendor passes quickly.
