- H.I.M Shahanshah Aryamehr pays his first state visit to the United Kingdom. His Imperial Majesty addresses the city dignitaries at Guildhall of London during his visit, delivering the message of friendship to the British representatives.
I'm from India. My Grand Father was a Bussinessman who travelled to many Countries. He personally met Shah on his visit to Iran. He was very impressed with him, He always praised him saying he was such a Great Leader.
When Iran has a Shah, the entire Middle East will be calm and orderly. It's a long historic symbol for the region.
Thanks our Indian friend. He was indeed kind, gentleman, and progressive. So as his Son (Prince of Persia).

@@babakhammer5963 What I recounted was about the involvement of the British government with the revolutionaries and the Air Force had asked for permission to bomb the ANTENNA (not people) used to broadcast propaganda against the shah. I didn't say he should've murdered people for personal power. If he was a person who cared about his country, he would not allow foreign powers trying to help those against him because foreign powers were not doing that because of what people were protesting about but only for protecting their own interests (which he, in his last years in power, was going against) and against the interests of Iran.
Unfortunately he just proved that he didn't have what it takes to be a leader let alone a king with absolute power. The current government actually has shown that they can do it better than he did. In addition to the example I gave before, you could consider his actions when the Brits wanted to take Bahrain. He just followed orders and let one of the most important and strategic parts of Iran be taken. The Brits and our own government have been trying to help Saudis take the Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf for years now. It's the current power in Iran that has not allowed that to happen. The shah would've gifted them away if it meant we would ensure his rule for a few more years. He didn't kill people because he wanted to show the character of the current regime but because he was listening to our advice and overruling others in his government who were telling him not to do that.
I am from Pakistan. I appreciate the friendship of Shah with Pakistan. He was a great friend of Pakistan. We still admire his friendship with our country. He believed in maintaining friendship with all the neighbors of Iran. No neighboring country had any problems with Iran during his regime.

He raised oil prices through OPEC and these same people kicked him out.
Shah demanded 60% of oil profit from oil companies instead of 40% NIOC used to get. It had nothing to do with jacked up oil prices by OPEC.
He didn’t want to give oil to the other countries
Makes me sad to see how Iran fell from this prestige to the toilet it is today. 😢

Royal heads of state don't bow or curtsey to each other because they have equal status. Lesser royals are expected to do so. That's how royal protocol works.

The Shah was a brief moment of majesty in the long history of Persia/Iran. Long gone, overthrown, died in exile and a dynasty extinguished it is interesting to see a glimpse of what was.
It’s always interesting to see how Iranians lament the loss of their glorious past when they didn’t appreciate it while they lived through it, conscientiously worked hard to align themselves with mullah’s vision of an Islamic state and when things change for the worst blame other nations for it!

Little by little he was getting far from People’s and he thoughts he is God . Ofcourse we shouldn’t forget that time our People’s were different than British people . They were many young people’s that couldn’t write or read . So Democracy didn’t exist .
