On the back of certain products you can buy in your local grocery store in the UK it actually will say on the back if it's used by the British royals. I believe Marmite spread, Coleman's Hot Mustard and Branston Pickle (relish) have this printed on their labels.
I've heard that the rules at Buckingham Palace are very strict, and I'm not surprised that it counts for even the workers there. It's important that everyone who visits keeps their utmost respect, as Queen Elizabeth is one of the most dashing, elegant, and most powerful people in the world.
This was incredibly well done. We got some insight into exactly how badly their private quarters are just from the same guy who broke into her private quarters TWICE back in the 1980’s. He spoke of wallpaper peeling from walls and paint from the ceiling. He said what you see on the tour is all a facade (if you believe him). I mean, if you truly love something, wouldn’t you keep up on repairs? It seems counterintuitive. Where does the money from the tours go? Maybe it only supports the front of house? They’ve had over 90 years to figure the finances out now and they are still living with leaky roofs and telling royals to just “dodge falling concrete” seems ridiculous. I’m actually shocked they haven’t had some major incident… yet. The queen has almost been shot walking around her own property, the private quarters are cold “year round” (this includes guest areas), absolutely zero insulation so you hear everything going on down the hall. No thank you. I’d much rather stay at a presidential suite at a five star hotel any day. But maybe that’s just me being a spoiled American???

Please include the name of the historical families that lived in them!
Why are there so many inaccuracies in this one video, @Weird History? I can understand you showing the Palace of Westminster on one occasion but to do it a couple of times is inexcusable, isn't it? The Palace of Westminster is better known as the Houses of Parliament here in the U.K. and considering that's where all of our politicians sit there's a very noticeable difference between the two, isn't there? The difference is that the Queen is forbidden by law to enter the House of Commons and can only sit in the House of Lords when it comes to the State Opening of Parliament when she delivers her speech to both Houses as well as to the rest of the nation. This obviously means that while she can walk anywhere around Buckingham Palace whenever she chooses she can't do exactly the same thing when it comes to the Palace of Westminster, can she? As you're supposed to be a history channel omitting the reason for her not to be able to walk anywhere around the Palace of Westminster is another omission on your part - it's because of what happened after the end of the English Civil War in the 17th Century under Cromwell and the Parliamentarians when it became a Republic until Charles II ascended the Throne. I laughed out loud when it came to your ridiculous explanation of Her Majesty's insignia....it's NOT 'E I I R' as you wrongly stated but E R ( or Elizabeth Regina ) with the Roman numerals for the number 2, i.e. II, in between those two letters. It beggars belief that you don't know sufficient Latin to realise this because it should actually read as Elizabeth Regina II or to translate it into English from Latin it's Queen Elizabeth the Second, isn't it? Keep up your American comedic version of our British history because it's absolutely priceless and is always guaranteed to raise a laugh or two, isn't it?

Because that's how it is. The Queen and King are no longer seen as mother's, father's, sons and daughters anymore. They will always come first and will put their duties ahead of everyone.
@@BiG-JuPO1O1 Because they haven’t used that throne in over 200 years. When your a royal your supposed to earn the right to live wealthy by taking care of the people and it’s also to keep you safe. These people know they don’t deserve all the stuff they have and don’t care. The only ones keeping them safe nowadays is the other elites and Satan.
You are completely wrong. There are countless apartments in BP that families have lived in for decades. It most certainly is home to many. Same for other Royal Residences, even the Tower of London!
@@tamaracarter1836 i wouldnt bother trying to explain. half of these lot get their info off the crown. cant teach stupid apparently....
@@hmtqnikitashakur3399 I agree, it’s a shame.
I always wondered if Queen had payamas that says ROYAL on her back.
No, she has pajamas with Queenie II on the back.
@@jimster46 both in rhinestones

This is more like fun facts about Buckingham Palace there’s not really information about what day-to-day life is like it’s just describing the house and the furniture
I mean when you get to say Edward the Seventh decorated my place than yea I feel you Queen
Woah ! We both like Tabasco !! Hell yeah !
Why use a waxwork pic not a pic of the actual queen?
A video about the Anasazi Peoples, please and thank you
The channel keeps showing parliament/westminster when it talks about Buckingham palace.
Probably on purpose. They don’t want the average person to know the layout of a building with supposedly important people inhabiting it…
@@alexisf5006 They're showing exterior shots of Westminster. They're completely different looking buildings that look nothing alike
Sign me up! Sounds like one Hell of an experience I need and want!
Why show the parliament building if you’re talking about the palace? Seems like an oversight.
Those shortbread cookies are delicious!! Very enlightening video.
Can we make sleeping in separate rooms a thing again? I love my husband but damn he makes sleeping hard sometimes. He also gets his feelings hurt whenever I bring up separate bedrooms 😅
My wife and I sleep in separate bedrooms out of necessity. Not only do I snore loudly I toss and turn all night as I don't always get a good night's sleep.
Wow. That was pretty interesting. She sure is one special Lady. Thanks 👍👍
Key word is POWERFUL. Cross her wrong and the Queens Guard may disappear you! 😅
It's good to be the Queen? I see the Mel Brooks reference Weird History
I ponder upon this topic daily.
There is a lot more to this than meets the eye. It’s on a ley line.
It’s used for rituals and satanic acts.
Ok, Princess Anne’s eyes bugging out made me spit my dinner out of my mouth.
There were pics of Westminster Abbey....that's not Buckingham Palace by any stretch of the imagination, BTW Buckingham palace is now open to the public so anyone can visit. I think it's when the monarch is not in residence.
Not Westminster Abbey, the picture shows the Palace of Westminster, which houses the parliament
They may not redecorate, but there's no doubt there's a lot of repair work ongoing. That building is not just falling apart.
She likes Walkers Shortbread.. Well, I've got that in common with the Queen!
This was a very enjoyable and informative piece.
I would love to see you do a video like this about some of the historical mansions in the southern United States that are now Museums with all of the original furnishings and architecture as well as the original art and draperies ! Please include the name of the historical families that lived in them!
Plantations i.e places where enslaved people were kept and worked?
This is tone-deaf.
Love the narrators voice it completely made this video
Awesome narration
Why do you keep showing pictures of the Palace of Westminster (The Houses if Parliament)? It has nothing to do with Buckingham Palace.
The splendours of the palace.,victor
