Oh man! That's some beautiful trucks, Ben! I can't say I appreciated them as much as you, 'cause you were there and felt the smell of them, the aura/their presence. But I can imagine it being quite an experience :) Thanks for showing!

The green '35 pickup has good memories for me. My dad had a '33 black IH pickup in the 60s he drove every day to his job at the Fort Wayne IH plant. If he was home, he'd take me to school in it! I loved going for rides on weekends in it. I miss that truck!

My favorite is that white single cab, long bed step side. That’s my favorite truck ever. I’ll have one at some point. But that 5 speed really puts it over the top. Unbelievable.

They must take better care of there trucks out there then they do in Nebraska. I picked up a 70 1100 4x4 that was a city plow truck in Nebraska, 8,000 original miles, I am the third owner. No rust but it is beat up, dents on every panel and spackled in bondo. I also have a 68 1200 camper mobile 105k miles. Very straight, perfect patina and next to no rust besides surface.

Ben three things to say to you. #1 Part 2 Truck Show was better than Part 1. #2 I am partial to Scouts [love the looks/styling and a buddy of mine had one] #3 Should be mad you for not warning to wear a towel round my neck [ I was drooling over your buddies' private collection] Would have been worse if I were with you In Person

My favorite: the first pick up you showed after the two Tavelalls. 1971, 3/4 ton, 4WD, V8, 4 speed in IH red.
You referred to it as a simple man’s truck. I see it as a work truck. A beautiful piece of machinery that served someone working in the trades or a farmer.
I had a similar truck of the Chevy variety. It had a positaction rear end and I never got stuck on a job sight. I loved that truck.

  • @rogercamp6071

What can I say about these cool trucks!I had a '71 1210 4wd similar to the white '72, also a ex FD truck with 10,000 miles on it,it had a busted front differential due to being dropped into a cement manhole cover,I replaced it with a newer '74-'75 unit but never could get the brake issues straightened out,it had same bumpers as it too, also Dad bought a new 1100 in 1968 with special ordered paint similar to if not Flame Red like the '71 Travelette.

Would love to see that collection.. Owned a few Internationals over the years, pickups, travelalls, scouts and a couple of metros. Oldest was a KB5 school bus, newest a 1980 diesel scout. Wish I still had all of them. That hydro lock brake lever was something a lot of wreckers used to have. The lines from the master cylinder went through it then to the brake system. You stepped on the brakes, flipped the lever up and it kept the system pressurized, locking all four wheels.

Hey, great video, what an awesome collection. Something you pointed out on the fire truck intrigued me. The 5 speed transmission. I just acquired a 1965 travelall 1200 4x4. From what I can tell it came fully optioned. In looking at the transmission, I noticed it is an international harvester corporate transmission and is a 5 speed. I cannot find much information on that transmission and wondered if you had and knowledge or details about it? I would love to know more and would appreciate anything you could divulge about that transmission and whether or not this was a common option for these vehicles.
    Thank you

1913 "motor" wagon because how the hell would you call it a "ENGINE" wagon for those who harp electric is motor an fuel is engine/lol. You can say what you ever want about the different rigs and say stuff like most have never seen anything older than maybe the nineties.. I have owned a lot of this stuff that is considered way old... because I am seventy two, nocking on the three in a few months... grew up in a town that if you went a full thirty plus miles, I seen for my first time anything as near new as the sixties.... I was born in the forties an those rigs were all before the second world war. And the ramp truck you have Ben, should be mine and giving to your kids. A couple months ago, old mans garage did a video on a man who invented a absolute must have polishing system which includes a clay bar. Ben, damn it.... look it up as its a holly grail of polishing a car that has not been painted, that all original look brought right back so nice you swear its repainted. Since I see the part three, I will continue with more dialogs of way back then or "Just look at that"/lol
