Love Lake Sarasota I think it is the best neighborhood in Sarasota. It has no HOA, safe, great schools, close to I 75, and a 1750square foot homes with a 2 car garage for about 300K.
We moved to The Meadows 18 months ago, and couldn't be happier. So much green space, but it's close to the UTC shopping area (which has everything), and we can get downtown in 15 minutes or to the beach in 20. The 17 tennis courts are within walking distance of my house, and it's very easy to get involved. Really friendly and welcoming folks. Three golf courses if that's your thing. Five different and excellent groceries within a few miles. Sarasota is great, and all of your suggested neighborhoods are excellent choices (and as the comments below indicate, there are many others), but if I had it to do all over again, I'd still pick The Meadows. If I had a boat -- The Landings.
Lisa these are great videos.i visited sarasota last year 3 times just thinking and thinking .next time i will give you a call to see these beautiful neighborhoods. Thanks
We lived in the Meadows in the 1980s, back when they had a riding stables. Great neighborhood, wonderful families. Sarasota sure has grown since I was a kid. :) My aunt and uncle used to live in Laurel Park. Cousins had a place on Oak st.
Bent Tree at the Bee Ridge side. Big lots, big garage , mature tree's . Older neighborhoods have mature trees. Newer neighborhoods are built on cow fields, and have no trees-none. Consider living in an established area. Most of your neighbors have been there for a long time so you will feel like a native. My house is 1979, and my pool is twice the size of what you get with new. My lanai is 800 sq. ft.
Hello there! I enjoyed watching your video. I love to hear about a decent neighborhood with the best schools in the Sarasota. If you could cover this subject next time please? Thank you ..
Thanks so much for letting me know. I will put it on my schedule to do a video with more school information. In the mean time if I can answer any questions about particular schools or guide you to neighborhoods let me know. Do you currently live in Sarasota or Florida?
Moving to Sarasota. We were just there on browning street which I believe is in Fruitville???? We are looking to rent first . Have 3 children ( one teen ) so it’s important to be around families. Looking for a single family home . Common hard working folk , no elite type energy .
Love this video! I cant afford to buy I just graduated college. I'm looking into renting in sarasota is there nice apartments, condos, or bungalows in sarasota either downtown or close to downtown? I don't have a car
@@LivingInSarasota thanks for the advice! I look forward to future content! Sarasota looks so beautiful and the way you describe everything makes it feel like home already!
😀 I understand why you would say this. Lots of our homes look similar until you start driving through the neighborhoods and experiencing how different they all are.

You forgot Newtown and anywhere on 26th st. The friendliest people I ever met all about community.
Plus it is the most diverse
They not gone mention that part
Could you make a video on good, affordable and safe places to invest in rental properties?
Yes, thanks for asking. We will put it on our list.
I thought you were going to say Turtle Rock where I live...anyway did good with your list. You did say it was subjective.
Que lugar bonito obrigado por mostrar td isso
Sarasota Springs, near The Lakes and cheaper.
Very informative!
Thanks!
Is this the area that was flooded by Hurricane Debbie?
I think my friend lives in the lakes

Hi Koda. There will be some apartments downtown. It will depend on budgets but some very nice complexes in the area.
@@LivingInSarasota okay sweet! In the process of getting a job and I should be on my way! Im so excited! Kinda scared and nervous!
Moving is stressful but exciting. Take it step by step and get out and involved early on. Lots of great people and things to do in the area.

@@LivingInSarasota does Sarasota have like "The Strip"? Like a strip of bars and pubs? Or is the nightlife spread out?
Is there a video on Lakewood Ranch.
Thanks for asking. Yes, it is in the process.
I’m like you. I enjoy golf, but don’t necessarily want to live in golf community. My wife will shoot me. Your recommendations. Thanks
