- In this weekend adventure, we return to the stunning Ullswater in the Lake District known as England's most beautiful lake. Pitching up at the Quiet Site on the Ullswater Valley, we explore the Aira Force Waterfall, Ullswater Way and take a trip back in time on the Ullswater Steamers whilst soaking up the fabulous scenery. Autumn is a very special time of year to see the Lake District.
Love watching your videos can’t wait till the next one
Thank you 😊🙏
I don't own a Basecamp but that matters not. Always a pleasure to watch 🤞😊
Awesome video Nick. The autumnal colours and the light you got in the video was next level. The weather was very good to you but the cinematography was next level on this Vlog. Looking forward to the next one..
Thanks Ian. It’s was a great trip. The light and the location made the vlog alone…. Going to be very hard to repeat or beat🫣
Excellent video as always, thank you!
Another stunning video - inspired us to visit!
Awesome. Have a great time. We loved it😊
Nick, your photography and cinematography are reaching new heights….what a feast for our eyes you produced. Thank you so much. My late wife and I had 2 Blue Roan Cocker Spaniels many years ago and you have a wonderful example of the breed with your lovely girl. Carry on with your excellent work. Looking forward to your next adventure 👍🐾
Thank you for your heart felt comment🙏. Our cocker is the bestest friend ever. She was hard work as a puppy and young dog but all paid her off in the end. Spaniels are very loving, loyal and friendly.
She’s certainly living her best life now with all the adventures she’s goes on with you. As it should be 🐾👍@@FlyCampCaravanNorthWales
Very very very good video. Congratulations!
Another fantastic video Nick. We watched this one on the large TV and I must say, it looks amazing. High quality and very well edited.
We are going to try out the site very soon.
@@danielcalvert417 thanks for the feedback🙏. When I watch my videos back I have to try very hard not to criticise myself for the errors I make so it’s very humbling to hear the content is well received.
Stunning landscapes, Nick 👏🏻👏🏻 👏🏻
It was magical time of year to see it.
Stunning, and entertaining as usual, see their another basecamp, as you left
Yes good spot. It was a Basecamp 6. first time I’ve seen one in the flesh.
Looks lovely, very lucky with the weather!
Unbelievable luck with the weather. We’ve been twice before with the Basecamp and it was a washout both times so third time lucky!
We love your Dog (even matches your throws). Thanks for the vlog that you did on Whitsand Bay Fort site, we have booked a pitch in June 24. 👍
She’s amazing dog❤️. Enjoy Whitsands Bay. We are going back to the Fort a couple of weeks after you👍
Incredible photography Nick and a Great adventure indeed
Thank you😊 excluding the drone shots, it’s all been captured on an iPhone. Amazing technology we have in our pockets.
Another stunning video. Chuffed to have found your channel. Love how you make use of your base camp.
Caravans are great for all year round camping! Its our first caravan and I never realised they can be so much fun.
@@FlyCampCaravanNorthWales Your production levels for a TH-cam channel are insane. I've caravanned since I was 8, bought my first when I was about 27.
Just swapping my caravan for the third time now for a Bailey Ancona. Absolutely love it.
@@andrewsutton4926 Thats awesome…. I really wish I’d discovered Caravanning earlier in life. Thank again for your feedback on the videos. I’m my own worse critic so I appreciate your comments🙂
Your photography is truly epic, a pleasure to watch
That’s amazing feedback. Thank you🙏
Another immaculate vlog 👍
Thank you Sarah😊
What a Stunning Place 🌄
Incredible❤️
Stunning!
It was amazing. We dropped lucky with the weather.
Fab video. Beautiful location 👍
Thanks Scott. It’s an incredible location. Amazing.
Morning Nick fantastic video we are there on Monday quick question from the lake which road did you use to get to the site I can see on google there is a choice of 2 but both seen to have single track thanks in advance
@@andydyson4800 the site uses a one way system as the road is single traffic. If you’re coming in from the lake It’s the left turn at the Brackenrigg Pub. There is a sign also directing traffic to the Quiet site at this junction.
@@FlyCampCaravanNorthWales thank you Nick
Thank you 😍😍
Just beautiful x
Autumn is great time of year to see the Lake District.
Can I make a small complaint please? I spent 3 days watching all the episodes on your channel in one go! 😃
Wow! Thats incredible👏👏👏. Not sure what else I can say!
Fantastic vlog Nick Absolutely stunning scenery and the filming was excellent you cracked it with the weather also. We are hopefully heading there in March to the Quiet site it looks a really nice site. How long was the walk back along the Ullswater way ? And was that a BC6 I caught a glimpse of at the end? Nice to see your wife in the film I bet you got an ear full for that 😂😂😂
Suberb mate keep them coming 👍🏻
Thanks John. We did drop lucky with the weather on this one. Autumn is a great time to see the lakes as the colours are amazing. The walk we did was 7 miles but you can get the steamer to different parts of the lake and then get the steamer back but we specifically went to Ullswater for the walking. It was a BC6 you spotted. We got chatting to the owners.
Yeah Autumn is my Favourite season the colours are amazing. You captured it perfectly 👍🏻
Hi Nick. Great video as always. We're off to this site on our 3rd ever trip, next week. The site looks quite compact for maneuvering
. Is that the case? We have a small 2 berth caravan, similar to your BC2. Thanks.
You should have no problems manoeuvering although some pitches are quite tight on the access however if you have a motor mover, you’ll have no problems at all. The site is in a beautiful part of the world. Enjoy.
Hi Nick, just found your site, you've probably answered this a thousand times but what app do you use for your walks? Really enjoying your videos, wonderful inspiration
No problem…. It’s called Outdoor Active. It’s absolutely brilliant.
Hi Nick, love watching your videos. What software are you using for your walk planning?
Thank you🙏. The app is called Outdoor Active. I plot all my routes on it and then use the app to navigate them.
Interesting, I’d never known of that one. Normally I just use the OS map app and plan with that. I’ll give it a try, thanks, keep up the good videos
@@bradsbunker its a game changer. I’ve hiked across really isolated landscapes on barely visible footpaths following it. I have subscribed to the app to unlock all its features. £26 per year.
I’ll take a look. Normally I use map and compass with a GPS as back up, I’m going up to Edale this weekend so I’ll give the app a try on a fairly familiar route
Wot app do u use for your walks?
It’s called Outdoor Active. I subscribe to the app to unlock the features:-

Thank you for that amazing comment😊.
