As shitty as they were after the war, Angkor (Khmer Rouge) were very skilled fighters compared to Lon Nols army which had a low morale, shitty training and bad logistics. Khmer Rouge was supplied from North Vietnam, China, Laos and Thailand, Lon Nols army only by the US and very limited.
