    From Toronto. I do prefer Saskatoon quite a lot over Regina but both seem like decent places to live. Sask just seems a bit more vibrant and lively.

    As a person who's considering moving into Canada it was a valuable comparison of two cities. And I'm really thankful, You didn't start complaining about the level of criminal activity in Saskatchewan. Because, I think, like in Winnipeg, it's hugely overrated. Just human nature to raise the fuss about something

      Late response, sorry. It depends on what you want to study for school but the University of Saskatchewan (in Saskatoon) is a lot larger than the University of Regina. It has a much better engineering program, although Regina’s nursing program is generally more well-regarded. In terms of cost of living, both cities will be cheap compared to most of the country. Saskatoon is slightly more expensive and prices are rising.

    Nice job. Saskatoon is well managed and the river makes it special.
    Regina is not as polished but equal in every other way
    The Wascana winds it’s way through the city and is actually more user friendly than the South Saskatchewan

    Cool video, having spent a lot of time in both cities I think Saskatoon is better overall. More vibrant, better green spaces and more options in the core area. Excellent food scene. Regina has a lot to offer too, and it seems to have gotten better over the past 10 years. Saskatchewan overall is very underrated! Cheers

    Very interesting, Sask seems to be a very underrated province. It's very nice to see your own insight of places you've visited, like Saskatoon. Maybe do Vancouver compared to Victoria next! The two biggies of the Canadian Pacific.

    • @ApexGeography
      @ApexGeography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I agree. So many hear the word "Saskatchewan" and then write it off because it's too "boring". There really is a lot to love about the province.
      Vancouver and Victoria is a great idea! I'll add it to my list :)

    Thanks for the video! It would be nice to see some statistics regarding crime rates, as it could be different. And this weather chart was not very informative, lacking median temperatures, precipitation and wind speeds (the difference between these two cities is small, but the numbers themselves are definitely fearful; e.g. winter temperatures of -30-40 C with an average wind speed of 30-50 kph, as I've noticed from local forecasts, could easily change one's decision to move there). Anyway, another great video, keep doing them, please!

Do you think the nickname Cowtown is just a random nickname… or the stampede, do you just think this is a random festival that just takes place in Calgary. Honestly if you think the Ag business has nothing to do with Calgary you sir are a fucking moron and I don't really know how to phrase that any nicer. • @valeria-militiamessalina5672
      @valeria-militiamessalina5672 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Both are similar but still quite different:
      North Pole:
      - covered by a layer of ice on an ocean;
      - relatively flat;
      - the ice is ONLY a few meters thick;
      - temperatures are higher than at the South Pole;
      - no mineral deposits;
      - inhabited by Polar bears;
      South Pole:
      - covered by a thick layer of ice on a mass of land;
      - mountainous terrain;
      - the layer of ice is very thick, down to 2.5 km;
      - frigid temperatures, lowest on Earth;
      - rich in mineral deposits;
      - inhabited by penguins;
