Welcome to Apex Geography! I am here to talk about different places across Canada and the United States. My goal is to connect with people who have a passion for travelling and geography or for people looking for a new place to call home.
I spend free time, looking at maps, planning trips and reading about different places in Canada and the United States. As of right now I have visited all 10 provinces in Canada as well as 1 of the 3 territories. In the United States, I have made it to 29/50 states with many more to be crossed off the list in the near future!
I love interacting with the viewers and am always looking for feedback and suggestions for new content!

are indians already there? if so, i pass...
Unless you’re into heroine and wokeness, don’t move to BC
What if the Saskwatch will come to you in Saskatchwan
Its great that there are only a few people there. I dont like people very much. Except nice girls and headbangers (metal fans). I would like to live in Labrador or so, but I have doubts that there are many headbangers and it will difficult to form a metal band. Hm well
That’s funny. Brunswick is a boring city in germany. Actually i should be there right now for a business meeting. But I always go on vacation when i should take part in business meetings. So actually I am now in Spain. So New Brunswick was maybe colonised (?) by Germans???
is it in switzerland
Central or west coast.
Weather sucks on Avalon Penn.
Corner Brook is nice. Right size. Nice Ski hill and golf courses. Lots of snow in the winter.
Not Petty Hr.
I could see visiting Yukon, not living there. July is likely good. Grilled whitefish and arctic char must be good.
What’s it like to pick up work Is it difficult for trades people Im a plumber
That lovely blue lake with the woman in the bow of the canoe…MORAINE LAKE Alberta!
You want to see Saskatchewan !!! Spend a summer north of Prince Albert !! Best part of this great province !!

Estevan is a straight up a dump, worst place I’ve ever lived. Red neck country, not in a good way.
Number 1 reason to move to n.b. i live 45 min away from st john, and 30 min away from the state of maine. We dont need to lock our doors at night, very quiet, peaceful. Safe at schools, crime here....the last major one was over 30 years ago. You could walk the streets at night and not have a worry in the world. The snow is nothing compared to other weather phenomenons from all over the world, and very few hot days in summer. Lets not forget how pretty october is with the orange and red maple trees. Wouldnt live anywhere else
Im not a city person, but i lived an worked in Swift Current for a very long time. I was fine with it, the city does have lots to offer, lots or sports great walking paths, nice parks, lots of events to attend during the summers. But im a northern person love the trees an lakes. So i moved to Meadow Lake.
You know what's even better than living in these cities? Living just outside of them. So many small towns offer low housing cost in trade for a small drive to the neighbouring town or city. I live 15 minutes out of North Battleford in a very small community on Hamlin Road. Right on the Sask River; complete paradise.
I will take your one million people as true. Recently (4 years) immigration is a factor and is taking over all our jobs and parks and culture. F - U
I think the answer to the Yukon question is that if you are referring to WHICH territory, you would say The Yukon as opposed to The Northwest territory. However if you are just referring to it NOT differentiating from the other two, you would just call it Yukon.
Do not move to Clark’s Harbour. Absolute intergenerational racist assholes still dominate here.
I have no intentions to move there, but I would really like to go there and see it. You forgot to mention that it is very, very expensive.
I think you've missed some quiet gems. Such as: Martinsville, low crime, new homes, great schools, new streets, decent local shopping choices, lower taxes, 20 minutes to anything else you need or want in Saskatoon.
I think it is long overdue for me to make another video about Sask!
Manitoba is easily the worst province for many reasons. It's the Louisiana/Mississippi of Canada.
Just because there are a number of lakes that commercial fishing may occur - doesn’t mean it’s the third largest industry in the territory 😆 Sincerely a person who lives in THE Yukon.
While commerical fishing is a relatively small contributor to the Yukon economy, recreational fishing contributes rougly $23 million to the tourism industry. This comes from the government of the Yukon.
I can drive from my home to Cha’town or Summerside in 25 mins. I live about 23 miles from both. To drive 23 mins in London UK, was maybe anywhere from 1.5 to 3hrs, so not complaining! The only thing I get stuck behind are Trucks and tractors! Been here a month shy of 7 yrs, and ever been stuck behind people or buggys!
WOW! ABSOLUTELY interesting video. LOVE IT! I have my Estate in Quebec an to me its heaven on earth. I don't speak French but all the French folks that become involved with are super nice. My expenses are massive went you have a huge home and property to take care of. But i love it there with all my heart. I travel in between homes, but Quebec is indeed my #1 place. I have been living in an out for 17years plus..With help of my accountants managing my personal assets. Also i am located in the heart of the French only areas with no" English "whatsoever but i am surrounded with love and striving. Wishing all a fantastic new year fills with good health and strength and continues success. Peace and Love Everytime Everyone ✨ 😊 🎉🎉❤❤❤LOVE
It is certainly a special province!
The best place is Foam Lake Saskatchewan. Best people also. Miss it.
Im finally seeing some love to my state and city, little rock Arkansas people talk about all the bad things but not the good things.
It is a very underrated place! I hope to visit it sometime!
@ApexGeography you should!
NB is a dump. Pay is generally poor. There are no effective environmental rules. There are much higher rates of cancer near some mills. The refinery in St John (petrochemicals) and the paper mill in Edmundston (dioxin) are well known. Industrial noise is prevalent even in the major centers like St John and Moncton and can take years to resolve as politicians obstruct simple solutions. You can imagine it worse in the smaller towns. Talking to officials about issues will get you the dumb deer in the headlights look and simple minded rhetoric. If I were to start over BC or Manitoba or Quebec or some other more progressive province would be better. Dont fall for the tourism ads.
Whitehorse suck I live there and it’s sucks
Estavan is the shit hole of Canada. No trees no lakes . This guy is hilarious
No trees and and no lakes might not be the determining factor for all people
Nice place to visit. Dont want to live there!
Thank you for sharing this insightful video. ❤
I lived up there for years and hardly anyone goes south every winter
You are 100% right. Salut
Merci beaucoup!
Limited jobs, doctors and you have to learn to make your own fun. There multiple languages is a hindrance to the province and the politics have gone far left and woke. The people are good for the most part.
I am a Mainer. Many New Brunswickers do a lot of their shopping in Maine and even make the 5+ hour journey to Portland to fly out of (mainly if they’re going to Florida as it is cheaper).
Greetings, respect and love from Greece, from an old friend of Canada. Canada is one of the most blessed by God, countries, worldwide with warm and too much kind people. May God bless Canada and Canadians.
Canada gdp is lower then the lowest state Mississippi. You're one mindless person.
Yes I believe SK. is one of the best place in Canada to live.
You had me up until CBS. Can't stand CBS, it's like the worst of the city and the worst of the outport, combined into one. Swap out CBS for Clarenville and you'd have a good list.
Labrador is awesome, but you can only really see it from snowmobile, canoe or float-plane. If you're in a car, most of the beauty is not accessible to you.
I've heard lots of stories about the Labrador highway...you are certainly right.
Estevan crumbled during the pandemic 😷. Lots of people left . Estevan will be a made into a 15 minute city . Soon welcome to the Hunger games . You will need permission to leave estevan to go to Weyburn as Weyburn will need permission to go to Estevan etc etc etc .
Sounds like some nice towns.
If people in weyburn make 126000 dollars then why the heck is it only a small town. I’m a log truck driver in northern Alberta making a lot less than that and I’m a considered high income earner.
I didn't know there good places to live in Saskatchewan.
There is no best place in Saskatchewan. Now they are under 3 feet of snow, minus 20 degrees Celsius.
Well considering it is Winter, that's not surprising
If you are thinking of moving to Manitoba don't. It's not the weather...in fact it is not that bad. This guy has obviously never lived in Manitoba. I am leaving Manitoba simply because there is no future here. Taxes and more taxes at the provincial and city level. The jobs are poor as well. The politics are definitely left wing at the provincial and municipal level. The downtown of Winnipeg has been abandoned.
I was in Winnipeg in 2024, and you are right that it has lost its charm a bit.
:( I live in NB
