couple of tips mate. Axle stands are a must. If your oil filter is on top of the engine u do it first let's the oil fall back into the sump. also before you empty the oil pull the dipstick and the cap off will flow quicker.
Hi Great video, I have ford c-max 1.6 diesel 2012 , my car started up then wouldn't start, I called the rac out and it wasn't showing any code faults , the fuel was showing quarter of tank full, the rac went and got £20 of diesel and put that in and got the got after bit with easy start, that was about 2 weeks ago now it's started doing it again, started up and stop this time my fuel tank is saying half tank full , any help or advice from anyone please appreciated.
good video,but the oil filter has a specific position to place it inside the housing filter,otherwise in time the unfiltered oil it could damage the engine
This video is ok but you need to prime the fuel filter by connecting a priming bulb and hand pumping it.Also it's very important to use low saps oil on any car with a dpf if anyone is following the good instructions on here.
I've changed the fuel filter but do I connect the hand pump to the actual pipe I'm disconnecting or the small metal pipe coming from the engine itself? I'm not having any luck either way. Ive removed the filter again and all seems ok. Some other videos show connecting the pump to the filter itself and some show pumping fuel into the filter rather than out. Any ideas. Thanks.
It’s at the rear of the engine follow it along from the fuel filter there’s a fuel line that feeds the high pressure pump unclip the fuel line and connect your priming pump
How do you disconnect the fuel line at the back I've just done my filter and being trying for hours to restart it didn't know about the pipe at the back
@@Cjrelectrical I am on about the pipe at the back where to connect the prime pump to draw fuel through the system does it just pull off or clip off some of the clips can be tricky

My oil filter is not there. It’s under the filler cap & is impossible to get without some non standard Ford tool. 2.0 2013 TDCI.

Filter assembly out port. Hand pump sucks fuel from tank. Once it is filled, connect fuel lines, start, done.
It says castrol on the oil cap, but you put a different oil, why?

iGOp dacay no need to refill soon as you prime the system it fills the filter .
Just turn car ignition on and it will send fuel to the fuel filter a few times and you’ll be fine
Not true they don’t have a priming pump and work off vacuum alone .

Anything that can creat a vacuum will do , you just need to get the fuel to the highest point for it to prime and start .

You need to prime the system manually as its gravity fed

It has a plastic but the needs squeezing then pulling out
@@Cjrelectrical had the vacuum pump on that pipe for a good while and nothing came out
